I am not sure I understand your post. I don;t see a question of any sort. Are you having a problem printing oversized banners? What operating system and version do you have, Mac or Windows?
If you are simply asking how you can print oversized banners, you might consider tiling.
Tiled printing is a method that computer programs use to enable users to print images larger than a standard page, popularized by a program called The Rasterbator. A tiled printing program overlays a grid on the printed image in which each cell (or tile) is the size of a printed page and then prints each tile. A person can then arrange the tiles to reconstruct the full image. This and more can be found here: Tiled printing

HP Officejet 6600 - wireless printing works with PC, but not iPad, iPhone or MacBook Pro

I just purchased a new Officejet 6600. Plugged it in, set up on the wireless network. Turned on my iPhone and printed with no problem. I then used the setup disc to setup on my windows desktop. It works beautifully. However, now we can't get the printer to print docs from iPad, iPhone, or Mac Book Pro. The printer shows in the print cue, says it is printing, and nothing. Installed on my Toshiba Laptop. No problem. HELP!! Very frustrating. Old HP printer worked on the wireless network with all of these devices.

Unable to connect to HP Officejet 6600 after printer enters sleep mode

Actiontec MI424WR wireless router
HP Officejet 660
Dell XPS 8300 (Windows 7, Windows Firewall, Microsoft Security Essentials)
IP Address range: 192.168.1.x
Printer is assigned static IP address
The HP Officejet 6600 printer is easy to set up and works great...for about 15 minutes. Then the printer goes to sleep and the wireless connection dies. Repeatedly. I am never able to restore the wireless connection without rebooting the printer, computer AND the router. I've been dealing with this issue off and on since I purchased the printer four months ago.
I can see from forums that I am not the only one with this issue. What I can't see (anywhere) is a solid fix for the issue.
I can tell you:
1. It's NOT the windows firewall. I've tried it with the firewall on and the firewall off.
2. It's NOT the antivirus software. I've tried it with the service running and the service stopped.
3. It doesn't matter whether the IP address is statically assigned or assigned with a DHCP reservation (though you do need to do one or the other)
4. Adding an ARP static entry helped a little bit to get rid of the "Host reports destination unreachable".
5. It doesn't matter whether the Bonjour service is running or not.
6. It doesn't matter whether the printer is configured for wireless direct printing or not.
7. I updated to the most recent firmware for the printer: that didn't help.
8. I'm positive that the printer is connected to the wireless router correctly.
I ran telnet from my pc to the printer (on port 80) and received no response. I can only conclude that somehow, there's a service that's supposed to be running on the printer that has died or that fails to register properly with the router.
Right now, I'm back to a direct connection between the printer and the computer (usb cable). Which means I can only print from the one device.
I have no intention of purchasing another HP product any time soon. I'll be sure to go out of my way to find knock-off cartridges as well.
Ugh.

Just to verify, what is the DHCP range in the router? Starting and ending addresses? What is the printer static IP at?

Officejet 6600 - Cannot Print from any application since Vista Update on 10/15/14

Our wireless connected printer had been working fine. On 10/15/14, updates from MS were installed. After that, we can generate test pages from HP Printer Assistant but no other application prints. That includes all MS Office projects, notepad, and any web browser.
We've run the HP Print Doctor and it indicated that there are no problems. We have since attempted to restore to the last checkpoint before the install and the restore fails.
Has anyone else run into this problem?

I understand that you are experiencing no response from your printer after upgrading to Windows Vista.
Try uninstalling the software using this document >>Uninstalling the Printer Software

After you have done that, try to print. If you can not print then run the Print and Scan Doctor again.

Is your printer a 6600 or 6700?
What is it's Model #? An example would be H711a.
What is your operating system including 32 or 64 bit?

I see you are experiencing carriage issues. I would like to try and assist.
I would recommend performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend following the steps in this document on a 'Carriage Jam' Message Displays on the Printer Control Panel.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting HP directly. You can utilize this website to learn how to contact HP appropriately, based on your region: Contact HP Worldwide.

HP OfficeJet 6600 H711g HP Solution Center software for Windows 8.1

I have an HP Officejet 6600 H711g printer. No installatin discs were included with the printer. I downloaded the installation files from the HP website. However, apparantely the HP Solution Center software was not included in the installation files. The HP Solution Center shortcut is located on my desktop but when I access it i get a message that my instalation is not complete. I have tried downloading and installing again (without uninstalling current files) but the Solution Center is still not available. Can somone please help. I'm not sure where to go from here.

Hi,
The HP Solution Center is not a part of the software for the HP Officejet 6600, it is a part of your previous HP printer's software.
From the windows 8 screen type HP and open the HP Officejet 6600 software, the HP Printer Assistant which is the software for your current printer will launch.

For further assistance, I will need some additional information:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies. Copying a Multipage Original in Order (Collating).
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
What type of scanning issues are you having? Are you getting any errors?

Officejet 6600 offline

My Officejet 6600 wireless printer has a terrific network test result but it remains "offline". The OS is Win 7. The computer is an XPS 8500...not a year old. I shut everything down for vacation (working fine). I turned the printer on, (never shut down the router or modem) and rebooted the computer and the printer remains offline. I've disconnected the router, printer and computer in that order and reconnected and still off line. The network diagnostic tests still read fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. Still off line. Won't print. Help please.

1. Go to Devices and Printers
2. RIGHT-CLICK on the printer
3. UN-CHECK OFFLINE
4. If you don't see it there, click on OPEN or SEE WHAT'S PRINTING

6. Un-check OFFLINE

Your printer is on the list of printers that support your print.

You may have to do a firmware update.Many HP printers require an update to their firmware before Airprint can be used. Check the HP website to see if a firmware update is available for your model printer.

Your printer doesn't support regular mirror image printing. You may can find a 3rd party software that could help you accomplish this but not from the HP software.

Trying to print, PC says it will send a fax Officejet 6600

My HP Officejet 6600, which I had to reinstall due to a connexion problem, calles itself now FAX HP Officejet 6600 in the PC.
No way to have it printing. My PC is a HP Pavilion h8-1030be. It keeps asking a fax number.
Any idea how to configure the printer in the PC, so as to have it printing when I want it to de that.
Anyway, I'll try now to restart the PC, and see what happens.

You should be able to go to HP Web site and download the installer. It sounds like you got a bad CD.

Officejet 6600 All But One Laptop Can Connect To Wireless Network Printer

One windows and 2 macs can connect to the wireless printer over the newtwork just fine but one (Windows 7) will not. HP Print and Scan Doctor can discover the printer from that laptop as "visible" but repeatedly says " need to install full software" which I've done, and after, it runs install wizzard reports, the IP address I've entered is wrong, which it's not. Firewalls are off. I've un and re installed, tried windows add device which can't connect either. I've had this problem before with this laptop but just can't remember how I fixed it. I remember getting to a screen that offered the option of installing over a nework or wireless directly to the printer and over the network fixed it, but I can't remember how I got there. Any ideas as I'm at wits end. Thanks

I read through your post about the installation troubles you are having with one of your Windows 7 computers and your Officejet 6600. I am here to let you know what my suggestion is for you!
There could be a program blocking the installation and causing the problem. I'd recommend a Clean Boot, restarting your PC, disabling your firewall and running through the installation again.
Hopefully that will get you through the install. Let me know the results!

OfficeJet 6600 - Apps not printing

I have tried everything, but reset my router. I see that as pointless because all my other wireless electronics have no problem with network connections. I have tried printing from the ePrint site directly and from my printer. I've had no issues for months, but after upgrading to HP Connected I can't print my app stuff. I don't get any error messages or anything. I choose an app (any one of them), choose Print Latest, choose No for scheduling, then hit ok. Everything seems fine, except nothing happens. What is up with that?

Sorry for the delayed response. If you live in North America and speak English, you can contact HP at 1-855-785-2777 to get live support for your Cloud printer and the web-services such as print apps.
I was able to test the NBC News print app on another Officejet 6600 and it printed. Make sure you are not on a guest network and ensure the app you are trying to print is also available at www.hpconnected.com just as a second reference. If you are not afraid of losing your customized email address, you can go into your ePrint settings and remove web-services then re-enable them to see if that helps. You will have to add the printer code again at the website but this should allow you to print them.
Let me know if that doesn't work. If not, is there a specific app you are trying to print? I can see if it is a problem with that specific one.
