My Officejet 8000 - Printer says "out of ink even after installing new ink cart. and new print head. I have tried two new cart. and still gives me the error. A few times it will show all inks are full and print a page or two then says it is out of ink. At one point I even was able to clean the heads and align them but same thing occurs. What is wrong??

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then edit your payment details.

Why does my printer say out of paper when there is a full stack?
When I try to print from my printer it will say "Out of Paper" even though there is a full stack of paper in the printer. I tried lowering the stack to see if that would work and it didnt. How do I fix this problem?
Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? (There are a number of Photosmart Premium models).

After installing iOS6, my Maps are not working at all, anything i search it says "result not found" even after placing a pin and selecting "Direction to here" i get the same result not found. Very disappointed with the new iOS.
Have you run it in a debugger? That will show you exactly what is happening and why.

After installing Mountain Lion, iMessages and Facetime does not work. When I try to sign-in I get a message that says: The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later. After 4 calls to apple and 8 and a half hours on the phone. The apple people does not how to solve the problem. Tried to reset pram, smc, nvram.
Tried installing new RAM.
Tried installing new hard drive.
You should know that my internal drive is installed in a cheap external case and plugged in a USB 2.0 port because i am waiting for a new hard drive cable.all
Yep all good things happened to me...i don't know if all these problems are linked, ahh and also my trackpad is behaving very erraticaly sometimes, it's like it is possessed by a ghost. My computer is not under warranty anymore so i'd like to avoid a trip to the Apple store but i'm close to doing just that.
Any help appreciated...It's diagnostic software. It's supposed to help you find problems. I don't think anyone is making any software yet that fixes hardware problems.

On older MacBook Pro's both the USB I/O ports and the keyboard/trackpad are fed out of an integrated USB controller integrated into the South Bridge I/O controller. On newer models, the USB ports come out of an integrated North/South bridge controller and the keyboard/trackpad are handled by an SMC controller, which itself interfaces with the I/O controller. All of these items are on the logic board, and they're all unrepairable.
...unless of course the "internal drive [that] is installed in a cheap external case" is itself causing the problems. Another thing to try might be a different USB port, if you haven't done so already.
I didn't know the price for Scannerz went up. I could have sworn I only paid 30-some bucks for it. Maybe it was on sale at the time. I don't remember.

Old X-Fi Platinum unrecognized even after installing drivers? I've got an old X-Fi Platinum card I bought more than 2 years ago (Model SB0460). When I first installed it a couple years ago (on Windows XP), it worked fine for a few months, then I started having issues about every 5th bootup where the card wasn't recognized. Simply restarting the computer would usually work. But after awhile, it finally quit being recognized. I thought maybe it was a problem with the drivers, which were old and buggy, so I took the card out and shelved it for a year and a half. I re-installed it today using the new drivers (2.8.0008), and everything installs fine until I reboot. Then I get the same old "Found new Hardware: Multimedia Audio Controller" popup every time, and the X-Fi drivers (that were there before the reboot) are nowhere to be found in the device manager list. ?
Is this a hardware problem or a software problem? This is a fairly new XP installation, and I spent weeks doing new installs and reformats a couple years ago when I had the original problem and that never helped, so I'm thinking it must be either the card is dead or a hardware conflict. FWIW, I'm using a Dell XPS 40 with the onboard audio disabled in the bios. Thanks.I have the same problem! Problem solved!
I had downloaded and then installed Flash, and restarted.
The problem? I was expecting Youtube to work as on my old PC, where you get a little pop-up menu at the bottom of the TV screen to play. pause etc. That won't happen on a Mac until you click on the oblong that says Flash in the middle - I didn't know that!

For some apps it seems impossible to determine the price before, or even after, installing them. How can I get round this?
Can you be clearer about what you're seeing? The price should be clearly stated up front... Is that not the case? Note that there may be additional taxes that will increase the final price, and that can't be included in that up-front listed price, since taxes are different everywhere.

The forward, back, refresh, and stop buttons are not working. Even after installing the latest Firefox update. Also my home page stopped loading upon startup even tho I have it setup to do so. Anyone else experiencing these issues? This is my second request for help and of course, Firefox on-line support is always closed.

DetailsSorry, I should distinguish between slow loading and manual reloading.
I understood your problem to be that Firefox never finished loading the page, i.e., some part of the page was loading too slowly.
By reloading, I meant Ctrl+r (or the reload button), to manually reload the page. You can disregard any cached files and reload all content fresh from the server by adding the Shift key, i.e., Ctrl+Shift+r (helpful when specific sites do not load correctly).
If the page is automatically reloading itself over and over, that sounds like a completely different problem. -
Trying to update adobe flash, keep getting 'quit dashboard client'. Everytime I try to, it pops back up. Even after going to activity monitor and force quitting. What is it and how can I quit it so I can install this update??
Restart the computer from Apple menu.
When restart dialog box appears, uncheck the box beside
