This was posted on the blackberry site yesterday.. The update is coming to the zos 10 soon and they are working on the USB sync to outlook.. I am glad they are listening to the needs of their customers.

The majority of people with app hacks (not sim card hacks) are reporting the update will only restore your iPhone to factory settings, removing your ringtones and other apps.
This is not to say that you will have a similar experience. The update may disable your phone, as it has been shown to disable even "virgin" in a few cases.
The safest bet will be to do a full restore back to factory before updating. At least then if you have issues you shouldn't be a position of them denying a warranty claim.

I have read a number of other threads regarding the loss of Messages, however, I am not aware of the reason it is happening. Check on the right side of this message under more like this and see if you can find an answer.
As to your question about downgrading software, there is no Apple supported method for downgrading software.

Otherwise, you use iTunes on your computer to sync chosen music to a device or uncheck any selected music and then sync again to get rid of music on the device.

Shifting from EAS to Outlook Sync - will I lose my contacts?

The contacts currently on my iPhone were synced there using Exchange Active Sync from my work e-mail account. If I disable/delete the work account, is there any way to ensure the contacts are preserved? I will be changing to sync with a local Outlook 2007 account instead.
I haven't been able to find any reliable info about backing up iPhone contacts then restoring them; and from what I have read, deleting a Mail account with EAS will also delete the contacts and calendar items as well.
Any advice appreciated.

Unfortunately not - it will be a local Outlook account. I was afraid there wasn't any way to keep what is on the iPhone currently.
I think I will need to use Plaxo to sync with my Exchange account at work, then sync those contacts to my local Outlook at home. Or perhaps just export the contacts from Outlook/Exchange then import them to Outlook. Unless anyone has a better idea?

how do I add my top 25 playlist to my iphone I updated my itunes and now my playlists are not on my iphone. the only playlist that show now are the ones I made and i tried to select and sync the lists but their still not showing on my iphone.

I think that if you sync the iPhone the top 25 playlist would be updated and placed back to your iTunes library.

The reason why the overclocking does not show up on well-known utilities such as WCPUID, Intel Frequency Display, CPUZ and SiSoft Sandra 2003 is because these programs cannot detect dynamic overclocking. That is why you need a special developer's tool to detect dynamic overclocking in realtime.
We are also planning to incorporate this feature on MSI boards in the future as well, and we will offer an option to activate and deactivate this feature on these boards.

As you already have guessed - we are all some kind of "fine young BETA testers" yepp! ;(
And as many of us already have guessed again - that explains some of the manual overclocking results - because the combination of dynamic and manual overclocking is not always the right thing to do... right?!
So all we/I want now it the ability to switch the CoreCell dynamic overclocking "feature" OFF if we want to!!!
I REALLY REALLY hope this be implemented in the BIOS of both the MSI 875 and 865... and ALL future boards!
We should all have the option to use it AND NOT TO BE FORCED USING IT if we bought the board - I WANT TO OVERCLOCK THE DAMN THING MYSELF WITHOUT CORECELL IF I WANT TO!

agreed, I have already sent and email earlier today asking if there is a way to actually disable the Core Cell hardware, because from my understanding even if you don't install the program for windows, it's still enabled

Trying to update from desktop,to receive new updates...

Not sure what the problem is... I already updated to CC 2014, but am seeing a notice for more updates and am getting the following ERROR CODE: "Creative Cloud desktop failed to update.(Error code: 2) Contact Customer Support" Can't figure out why.

I downloaded new update for Lightroom cc and it will not load when i click on the icon or go to program to open it.

I just downloaded the new Lightroom CC from adobe cloud. I have always used Lightroom 5 with no problems. Now after downloading Lightroom CC it will not open. I click on the icon to open.... nothing. I right click and select open..... nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled....... nothing.

Same here, I tried uninstalling LR CC and reinstalling, same issue. Looks like they need to work on some things. I'll just use LR 5 until they get it figured out.

Just downloaded new update 7/.1 and now firefox will not connect

Just downloaded the latest update 7.0.1. Restarted computer now firefox will not cponnect. IE will Thinderbird will. Turned off firewall and tried no luck so not firewall blocking it

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Ever since the new update, my Ipod won't sync. Starts to sync but then goes back to connected eject before disconnecting. Still won't transfer songs even after being restored. Restored fine. But now I've got nothing on it. Please god help!

For awhile, since the newest update, I'd noticed when charging the ipod (classic) that it stopped going to the charging screen and would stay on the Connected: Eject before disconnecting' screen. But, y'know, didn't matter to me, it still charged... until today when I tried to add music. Tried it many times, reset it... STILL wouldn't transfer songs... It would 'say' it was syncing, but then suddenly stop and stay on the same Connect: please eject before disconnecting' page. I did a couple of times get a message about scanning it but, after restoring that never popped up again...
So, I do a system restore on it and ofcourse THAT works, but it STILL won't sync! So, now I've got an ipod with no music that won't sync and because it's all gone on there, I'm not sure how to back up my stuff (should I need to re-install iTunes... Though I doubt it'd work...)... So, yeah, I tried a different cable too, still no luck...
There has GOT to be some way to fix this!

I think the problem is that the iPod got set to Manually manage music and videos. It needs to be set up for automatic syncing again. Just unchecking that Manually manage music and videos setting does not do it.
In iTunes 12, select the iPod in iTunes (using the device button), so that you see the iPod's "management" screen. In the sidebar (along left side of screen), there are two headings (Settings and On My Device). Under Settings, click on Music. To the right, you see the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box at the top for Sync Music. That turns ON automatic syncing for music. Below that, choose the option to sync Entire music library (assuming your music library fits completely on your iPod). Otherwise, you can choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres and make your selections below. Then click Apply.

You can set up your Yahoo mail account in Settings. Once you've filled out the information, you can access your mail via the Mail app on the iPad, instead of via Safari.

You may be getting that error message if the setting 'Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library' is not turned on (in Preferences>Advanced>General).
To sort all your songs out in one batch, my suggestion would be to remove all your songs from your iTunes library and re-import them all. However, as someone who also has a 5,000-song collection, I wouldn't want any of your songs to be deleted, so either do a backup or write-protect your iTunes music folder.
