Offline Adobe Interactive form from SFP ( ABAP )

Hi all,
I searched on sdn but could not get a firm answer for following questions :
1. Is it possible to use digital signature on offline forms - for which inbound processing is done by sap mail on ABAP side?
2. What all data sources ( like webservice ) is possible if I develop from SFP ?
3. If I use webservice - how can I map webservice interface to context?

For question 1 - What I am asking here - Are there standard ABAP API's available for veryfying Adobes digital signatures ?
For question 2 - When we enter in ALD via SFP - some data connection options are disabled. Also there is no option for RESTful service/ secure wsdl connection - are they supported with ALD 8.1 ?

Dear All,
i need some help concerning the usage of Adobe Interactive Forms in SAP (ABAP) Trial Version.
I installed SAP Netweaver 7.01 (ABAP Trial Version) and i would like to use the Adobe Interactive Form editor (transaction SFP). Is this trial version prepared for this? Is it possible to edit and test Interactive Forms in the ABAP Trial Version too?
Somebody told me that he installed Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1 but the layout manager part of the editor shortdumped when he wanted to go back to other parts of the editor or he wanted to save what he did...
Is it enough to install Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1? Is there something else to install or configure?

Yes, you need the lifecycle designer installed. That should be enough to work with the SFP transaction. But to actually use the form, I think you do need the ADS(Adobe Document Services) which runs on the java stack.

Offline Adobe Interactive Form Upload options - CRM 2007 sp4

CRM 2007 sp 4 Adobe Interactive Forms requirement
We intend to develop an Offline Adobe Interactive form which we are going to pass to Outlook through Groupware Integration to represent a customer visit to enable our sales people to record customer visits whilst in the field
Once the visit details have been saved to the offiline form the data in the form needs to be submitted to our system. From what i can see we have three options for this to take place: by Email / WebServices / WebDynpro-Upload can be used to post the data back to the CRM system.
What are the pros and cons of the three upload options?
Which is the easiest to implement?

As per your replies, what i understand is : in the form properties, i have mapped the data source to context node (my data node) and pdfsource to (xstring content). And the template source should be mapped to the form name. Is this so?
If yes, i have tried this and i m able to see the form now.
But lets say, if they upload any other form, then this will lead to dump, isnt it ? Since the form template is mapped with a form name.
In wd java examples,. they mapped it as 'View.Form.xdp', i thought that the template soruce is dynamically gets mapped.
Any pointers on this, this would help.

How much effort in developing an offline adobe interactive form - crm 2007

We have a requirement to develop an offline adobe interactive form in crm 2007 sp4. The form will be linked with a visit transaction and when saved will also facilittae the transfer of the form from crm to outlook via groupware integration. From what i can see we have the following steps which will need to be implemented.
1 - Develop web service to pull information from the created visit to the Offline Adobe Interactive Form
2 - Create an Adobe interactive Form template to hold the details of the visit
3 - Set up Groupware Integration to pass the form from CRM to Outook (DONE)
4 - Develop some approach for uploading the form data back to the CRM server (of which there appears to be three approaches - Submit by Email / WebServices / WebDynpro-Upload )
The form itself is not going to be too detailed. It will be prepopulated with the following fields:
Account No, Account Name, Contact, Date, Time, Transaction No, Transaction Category. It will also have a number of text fields which will be used to capture the details of the visit. It will have a submit button to allow for the data to be uploaded by the appropriate upload method.
Can anyone give me some guidance as to how long it would take to implement such a requirement.

How to display Adobe Interactive Form from ABAP (not WDABAP)

I have created a WD ABAP application that creates an Adobe Interactive Form (ZCI) and submits it for workflow. All of the data on the form is saved in custom itables in the SAP System. The end-users are supposed to save a copy of the form at the last step in the workflow before they "Acknowledge" the task in UWL. Once the acknowledge takes place, they can no longer display the form in UWL. They want an ABAP program that will read the data from the various custom tables and display a "print" version of the form (not interactive).
I am calling FM 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME' to get the function module for the form. I then call FM 'FP_JOB_OPEN' with the parameter IE_OUTPUTPARAMS-REQNEW set to ABAP_TRUE. The call to the form FM has the following EXPORTING parameters:
    EXPORTING
    /1BCDWB/DOCPARAMS   =
      /1BCDWB/DOCXML         =
I understand the /1BCDWB/DOCPARAMS but have no idea what needs to be done to for the /1BCDWB/DOCXML parameter. Can anyone offer any advice or assistance?

this is really simple - the reason you have that /1BCDWB/DOCXML is because you defined your form interface to have an XML based interface.
While this is great for ABAP Web Dynpro, because the XML is generated for you, this is NOT the case with regular ABAP.
You should choose ABAP Data Dictionary-Based Interface. You will then be able to add tables, structures and fields to your interface.
For instance, here's code from a program where I call the form in regular ABAP
data: ls_worksheet TYPE Zxxx_structure.
* Fill the ls_worksheet structure here.
* Call the generated function module
CALL FUNCTION ls_function
    EXPORTING
      /1bcdwb/docparams = fp_docparams
      worksheet          = ls_worksheet
    IMPORTING
      /1bcdwb/formoutput = ls_form_output
    EXCEPTIONS

Notice I do not have the /1BCDWB/DOCXML Exporting parameter.
Just change your interface to a Data Dictionary Based, and add the tables/structures/fields to it.
then, go to your calling program, fill them, and pass the data through the Exporting parameter.

Release of locked offline adobe interactive form

Hi all,
I am working on an application called Performance Management (HR) where I download the form as PDF Adobe Interactive Form. Trying to upload the document fails. However there is a transaction called
Locked Offline Appraisal Docment that should unlock a form which has been downloaded.
My question: how do I run this transaction (program)?

To release an offline ocument you have to use the program
phap_admin -> menu -> go to -> Locked Offline Documents

The interface of the UI element InteractiveForm contains the method
SET_LEGACY_EDITING_MODE, which in turn contains a Boolean parameter. The form is
then ready for input when
● The parameter has the value X.
● The property enabled in the UI element InteractiveForm is selected.

Drop down in dynamic table in the Adobe Interactive Form (Web dynpro ABAP)

Hi All,
I have scenario use drop down in dynamic table in the adobe interactive form (Using the button the dynamic table row will be increasing and decreasing).
Assume I Add five rows dynamically in the dynamic table. The Last column contains Drop down.
I have button in the adobe form.
Button Name = u201CSAVEu201D
Button type    = SAP Submit button (Native type u2013 I am Using ZCI).
While clicking save button, I need to store the dynamic table datau2019s to back end system. I can able to store the data to back end system. After form data getting saved those particular values need to display in the adobe form.
Here I am facing a problem.
I cannot able to view as a default value in the drop down, which I have selected some values after save operation I am not getting any values in the drop down as a default.
Example:
The dynamic table contains 5 rows (Each and every row Drop down contains one to ten values).
1)     I have selected second value in the Drop down (ROW1)
2)     I have selected fourth value in the Drop down (ROW2)
3)     I have selected fifth value in the Drop down (ROW3)
4)     I have selected seventh value in the Drop down (ROW4)
5)     I have selected third value in the Drop down (ROW5)
I press the save button that particular Drop down value gets saved in back end system and that particular values want display in the Drop down as a default value.
How to resolve this problem.

I have created the New node for dropdown. also i have one node already for table.
The new node i bind to dropdown, the table same for table.

Unable to test Adobe interactive form from webdynpro

This is the out put i get when i test run the report 'FP_TEST_IA_01'.As suggested in SAP NOTE : 999998
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights(200.101).
Actually i was trying my first Adobe interactive form with webdynpro and when i tested it i got this message.
The following error text was processed in the system NED : WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server
Does Adobe interactive form requires Java stack to be active??
Or is it only a configuration issue in ADS???
What all should i take care in order to successfully run an adobe interactive form???

Will this also take care of ADS configuration.Where can i find a guide to ADS configuration and ZCI installation.

Dropdown List in Adobe Interactive Form Using Webdynpro ABAP

In my scenarion I need to list the Rating Code in the Dropdown list box of the Interactive Form.
Form Created by using SFP transaction
Not XML Schema interface
Passing the values to the Form by using the default function module that which created automatically while creating the Form
Am binding the Field and also binding for the list Item. Even though the values are not listing.

I have followed the above format , but no use ...
Field Name : rating_code

but it is not working for me, will appreciate if some one really help me to fix this.!!!!

For the form buttons to work on-line in your WebDynpro app, you need to change the PDF form to be Dynamic:

In this code segment, "InteractiveForm" is the UI id.
I was able to get that far, but I although I add subforms dynamically via javascript, the mapped WebDynpro context node doesn't pick up any new elements.
ie: if I start with two WD context elements (0..n) cardinality, then add a third via the form JavaScipt button, I see changes only in the two context elements when I submit. A third context element isn't created or populated.

Calling Adobe Interactive Form from a selection screen

Hi,
I have to design an interactive adobe form online scenario,it goes like this :
A certain tcode will call a selection screen when we enter values in the selection screen it will open an adobe form,which will have a submit button,on clicking the button data gets saved in a z table.
I will be designing the form in Web Dynpro,is it possible to call such a form through a selection screen?? Can someone please provide some idea on how to implement the above scenario.

Hello,
for the online scenario you need a communication partner for the form. In WD, you have a partner to exchange the data with. But from a selection screen... who would be your partner? You can of course display a form, a PDF file, a new one (generated) or a uploaded/ stored one, you can even edit the fields, but you don´t have any partner to send the data to.
To cut this... you need a webservice if you want to exchange some data immediately (online scenario).

Control not going from Adobe Interactive form to ABAP WD Event handler

Hi
I am facing an issue with adobe interactive forms and WD ABAP integration.
The buttons in adobe interactive form when clicked is going round and round and the control is not going to the ABAP code(WD ABAP event handler code whatsoever). I have also set the debugger but the control is not moving to the ABAP code from the adobe interactive form.
Can anyone help me what can be the issue here and how can I resolve the same?

Hi Babi,
In the adobe form layout library Use the Submit(which internally means submit to SAP) button from the Webdynpro Native category.
Only this button action can connect adobe to web dynpro.
Whenever we click on this particular button the event will be trigger in the ONsubmit event of interactive form UI element in the webdynpro.There we can write our abap code.Hope this will help you.

After creating and calling Adobe Interactive form from ABAP web dynpro, within the form designer is it possible to call RFC or Business Object method from the form script to get the data back from SAP for specific Click events?

Yes,
this is possible, but not through pure RFC, but using webservices and webservice enabled function modules within SAP.
Technically it is quite simple. Create a functionmodule, and create a webserve from that (all SE37 or SE80 but from WAS 6.40). Generate a WSDL (with the Java tool) and import that into the form that you are designing. From there you can bind the data from the dataset (as defined in the WSDL) to screenfields or treat the data any other way Javascript can.
BTW. I only managed this so far by using anonymous logins, so with a password and username bound to the webservice (in SICF).

ABAP Webdynpro ADOBE interactive form

I have a problem when reading attachments from online adobe interactive form in Webdynpro ABAP.
I have tried two options:
Option1:
Get FP reference.
l_fp = cl_fp=>get_reference( ).
try.
Create PDF Object.
l_pdfobj = l_fp->create_pdf_object( connection = 'ADS' ).
Set document.
l_pdfobj->set_document( pdfdata = lv_pdf ).
Set task to get attachments.
l_pdfobj->set_task_getattachments( ).
Execute, call ADS.
l_pdfobj->execute( ).
Get result.
l_attachments = l_pdfobj->get_attachments( ).
CATCH cx_fp_runtime_system INTO exc.
xslt_message = exc->get_text( ).

option 2: in wdomodify method
DATA l_ifba TYPE REF TO cl_wd_interactive_form.
l_ifba ?= view->get_element( 'IF_001' ).
DATA l_form_method_handler TYPE REF TO IF_WD_IACTIVE_FORM_METHOD_HNDL.
l_form_method_handler ?= l_ifba->_method_handler.
DATA l_attachments TYPE tfpattachments.
l_attachments = l_form_method_handler->get_attachments( ).
Both options are not getting the attachments.
Our SAP Netweaver version is 7 and ehp 4, ADS configured.
If i save the pdf with attachments locally and then use the UI upload and read the attachments it works. But not when the interactive form is online and when i add attachments to it and click submit(where submit code is the option 1 code), it is not finding any attachments. I wonder whether pdfsource context stores the attachments or not.
When i check the note, SAP say that attachments are supported from ehp2.
What is that i am missing? Any direction would be good.
In worst case i will do webdynpro screens for attachments maintenance, wanted to check with all experts before taking this option.

That is correct. Attachments are supported as of NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 2.

Not possible. NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 4 doesn't even exist yet. In fact 7.0 Enhancement Package 2 won't start ramp-up until December 20th. I think you are confusing your ERP Enhancement Package level with your NetWeaver Enhancement Package level. I'm guessing that it is much more likely that you are on ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4. This level of ERP actually runs on NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1.
