Offline doc : Business package for business unit analyst

Hi experts,
I'm looking for an offline doc for the business package "business unit analyst 2".
I've found the online doc <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/5e/083f403f0a9354e10000000a155106/frameset.htm">here</a>, but I want something offline, printable.
Does anybody knows where I can find that ?

Your point about the prerequisites lead me to the solution. The settings were wrong in Virtual Room settings in the Visual Administrator and the Collaboration Room Backend Properties in the portal. These need to be correct as a virtual room is created by the system when the planning round is created.

We could not get navigation for FICO forms in ESS/MSS package for Adobe Interactive forms.
It shows that all FICO forms are available under this Business Package.

Downloading Business Package Business Unit Analyst

Hi All!..
I'm trying to download from SAP Service Marketplace the Business Unit Analyst Business Package, but when I open the zip that contains the package it only has an SCAN FILE, do any of you know what's happenning here? Do any of you has the actual version of this BPs...??

Hi Maria,
when you say scan file, do yo mean an file called BPERP4BUA0.sca? If so that is correct. In EP6, the archive files you import are SCAs. Just specify the sca file on the import screen when you go to bring in the BP.

Business Unit Analyst create planning round problem

In the Business Unit Analyst 2.0 (mySAP ERP 2005) portal business package when creating a planning round I can go through to the 3rd screen "Review and Save", but when I hit save the following error appears on the screen and it does not save the planning round:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Service call exception; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
I am using java version 1.4.2_12-b03. The portal is NW2004s stack level 8.
Has anyone found the same problem?

Subordinate packaging for handling units labels

Hi Experts!
I have run in to an issue with the multilevel packagng.after creating the packaging instructions, we are going to setup the packaging determination recorod, now there are 4 options like
option 1 PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS
option 2 ALTERNATIVE PACG INSTRUCTION2
option 3 ALTERNATIVE PACG INSTRUCTION3
option 4 ALTERNATIVE PACG INSTRUCTION4
What is the significance of all these 4 options in the packaging determination reccord(T-codePOF1)? Can someone please provide me some documentation regarding these four opeions?please..........

Missing objects Business Package for Internal Sales Representative

Hi all,
I have downloaded a Business Package for Internal Sales Representantive:

But, after import this BP some objects are not available to the standard role ("Internal Sales Representative").
Should I configure it manually? Or is it a problem when I imported it?

you have to download them from SAP market place..
you can get them from
http://service.sap.com/swdc enter you logon details.. Select option
-> search for All categories
and then Enter LSO 300.. this wil list you download option for Authoring Environment/offline player and Content Player.. based on which component you are looking for .. download them.. remember to check compatibility of LSO SP with HR patch you are currently using.

I searched for business package for Service Technician (Field Service Engineer), but I was able to find only a Business Package for Maintenance Technician. Can this busi. package be used for Service Technician as well? Has anybody worked on Customer Service business packages?

I have installed EP7.0, i want to evaluate Business Packages, but i cannot find out where i can download it, can anybody give me the download link or give me any docs related to Business Packages, i want to know how to utilize it to interact with own developed .net system. Thanks.

PREPRATION
1) Download the Business Package for Employee Self Service (mySAP ERP 2004) from SDN using your SAP Service Marketplace ID.

2) Check the J2EE Version and Download the following Web Dynpro Development Components (patches) from service marketplace (Refer SAP Note 761266Self Service Patches to know the version to be downloaded):
     ESS
     PCUI_GP

Cannot download the business package for ESS or MSS

Hi All,
I'm trying to download the 'Business Package for Employee Self-Service
(mySAP ERP) via
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/contentportfolio. When I
click the 'Download' link, I get taken to the URL

where I get an IE message "The page cannot be found".
Any idea why?
How can I download this business package ?
I also get the same problem when I try to download any other version of
ESS or any version of MSS.
Please respond ASAP as I am trying to prepare a demonstration for the business on Monday (tomorrow).

Click on content for Business Suite 2005 --> Select mySAP ERP 2005 - EndUser Service Delvery --> Select Employee Self Service --> Click on the link for BP for Employee Self-Service (mySAP ERP)
It should promt you to download the package.

Is it possible to create an Org unit using BP for HR admin in Portal ?
Can we maitain positions in Portal for employee belonging to any of the org unit ?
Heard that there are lots of HR functionalities in BP for HR Admin, but never knew if there is such functionalities available or not.
