Offline installer for Adobe Reader

I'm trying to download offline installer of latest Adobe Reader for bulk installations on PCs in my company. It used to be simple and last version I got was 11.02.
Latest version forces me to register for distribution of Adobe software. Fair enough, I requested access to the Reader, got one email to confirm my details, then another one which should contain link to the .exe installer. Sadly the URL in "To download the English language version of Adobe Reader 9 with Acrobat.com in compressed .exe format, click here." redirects to this address:
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/enterprise/
which is the generic page asking me to apply to distribute Reader, which I just did.. "Adobe Reader 9" suggest that those automatic emails are quite outdated now, can anyone help?

  • Offline installation of Adobe Reader 11 in Greek Language

    Hi,
I have to prepare an offline installation guide with the packages to install Adobe Reader 11 with several languages.
I found all of the required packages (e.g. AdbeRdr11000_de_DE.exe, AdbeRdr11000_en_US.exe, AdbeRdr11000_tr_TR.exe etc.) but one in Greek.
Where can I find the offline installation of Adobe Reader for Greek Language?
    Regards,

    Thank you for reply Pat.
I did see v.10 of Acrobat in Greek but I really need v. 11 to be consistent. I also checked the MUI version of v.11 and it does not have Greek either.
Did Acrobat stop to support Greek Language?
    Regards,

  • Multiple language installer for Adobe Reader

I need a compressed multiple language installer for Adobe Reader to install with my software.  Is one available?

When we requested a license to distribute the multi-language version of Adobe Reader with our software, we recieved the following link to a download:
    "For full installers: "
"To download the English language version of Adobe Reader 9 with Acrobat.com in compressed .exe format, click here."
When you click on the link, you get a single file (AdbeRdr11006_en_US.exe).  This is an installation for english only.  I am looking for a single .exe file for a multi-language installation.
The link you provided above is to a .zip file that must be extracted and then run.  This requires additional steps in our installation process.  We were hoping you have a single installation file to prevent these additional steps.

  • Offline installation of Adobe Reader & Flash

We just spent the weekend at work running Windows update, office update and updating Java, Adobe Flash and Adobe Reader on all machines.
In the interest of not going insane and doing it again ever, I would like to create an auto update script for everything.
I am working on WSUS for the windows and office updates and have Java sorted, but I cant find any info on doing offline installs for Reader and Flash?
    Can anyone tell me:
    1) Where can I download an offline installation of both Flash & Reader
    2) Where I can find info for command line installation/uninstallation.
    thanks

  • Installer for Adobe Reader 11 runs but nothing installs

Windows XP SP3 and IE8, Installer completes after downloading it, everything looks ok but nothing occurs after intsaller finishes, I see no Adobe Reader Intsalled on the progam list, nor are any existing PDF files recognized (asks for program with which to open them.)

Where did you download the app from?
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/
First you download an app to download the installer of Reader, which then must be run to download the Reader Installer, which you need to run to install Reader. Hey, you cannot make this stuff up.
    If you download from:
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
You can the Reader installer, which you can run to install Adobe Reader.

  • Where can I find an installer for Adobe Reader 8?

When I "upgraded" to Adobe Reader 9 I immediately noticed a severe drop in performance.  A lot of pretty features have been added, but I can't take the hit to my machines' performance and I want to go back.
I tried to configure the software so that it would load less of the bloated features, and I attempted to change the performance in several ways.  But I've had it by now and I need to go back to 8.
Any thoughts on where I might find an installer/exe for version 8/8.1.3?
    Thanks,
    IDBUG

    Why do you want 8?
You would be better off with 9: http://download.cnet.com/Adobe-Reader/3000-10743_4-10000062.html?tag=mncol
How much system RAM do you have? I bet if you upgraded your RAM you would not have the performance issues with 9.

  • Adobe Reader Offline Installer for 11.0.05?

    Hi,
I've been trying to obtain the offline installer for the latest update.  However, the website is only listing 11.0.04.   Is there a way to get 11.0.05?
I've cleared the cache and used different browsers so I don't think it is a local cache issue.
    Thanks,
    Doug

    11.0.4 IS the latest.
    11.0.5 hasn't been released yet.

  • Is the installation file for adobe reader, the same for all the versions of windows ? Is it ?

    Hello,
I want to know if the installation file for adobe reader is it the same for all the windows ?
It is because I have to do an automatic installation for XP, seven and windows 8...
It is also the same between 32bits and 64bits ?
    Thanks.
    Best regards
    Sofia Luna

It may be worth mentioning two things.
    1. Adobe provide extensive information on Enterprise Deployment of Acrobat and Adobe Reader.
    2. You may well need a redistribution license to do this, if you are installing on behalf of anyone (accepting EULA for them), pushing, or hosting etc.

  • Installation of Adobe Reader 10.1.7

I have created an installation package for Adobe Reader 10.1.7 with protected mode off, for we need to integrate Adobe Reader 10.1.7 with our DMS.  The install works properly on my test workstation, but when I try this on other workstations, protected mode becomes enabled.

Try the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • Offline installer for CC Desktop / Server availability issues.

This is a follow up to the issue described here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5620240#5620240
As we have to install CC Desktop on each of the systems deploying CS6 packages, I'm looking for an offline installer for it. Is such a thing available?
The reasons I ask are that A) There's no guarantee that the machine will have internet access during the installation. and B) Half the time I run it on a desktop, I get an error message telling me "The remote server is not responding in a proper manner"; my response to which was similarly improper...
My "Deployment" such as it is now relies on users copying the file form a network share on to their desktops, running it individually and hoping that the server is online. Not fun when you've got 50 artists across 5 studios wanting to get these packages installe; and that's only so I can proceed to the wheel-of-fortune that is the AAMEE-produced MSI package.
Are these server availability issues commonplace? Is this just one of those things that afflicts all software launches that rely too heavily on online components?

    Hi Terry,
If it's helpful, you can find and use all the original offline installers for all Creative Cloud and CS6 tools (including the CC Desktop App) here:
    Adobe CC Direct Download Links
    and/or
    Adobe CS6 Direct Download Links
If you have those files in hand then you can install the free trials anywhere while being offline.  In most cases the Internet is used to activate the software longer-term, although Adobe still provides procedures for offline activation:
    Activate your software offline
If the computer on which your software is installed cannot connect to the Internet or to Adobe’s activation servers, you can activate your software offline.

  • Acrobat Standard 6.0 Set as Default Viewer, but Browser is looking for Adobe Reader 8 or 9

    All,
I use Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0 for viewing and creating PDF's.  Just a couple of days ago, I tried opening a patent document I found on Google.  The browser displayed the following error:
"The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser.  Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required.  Please exit and try again."
So I looked for an update for Adobe Reader and downloaded Adobe Reader 9.1.2.
The next PDF document that I opened came up in Adobe Reader....NOT Adobe Acrobat.  The installation must have changed the default viewer.  So I right-clicked on the PDF file icon and selected OPEN WITH Adobe Acrobat.  I clicked the checkbox to "Always open with this program..."  This seems to have fixed the default viewer problem, as PDF files now open with Adobe Acrobat Standard...just the way I want things to work.
I still have the problem of not being able to open many documents within a browser...I think because the browser is looking to open the PDF files in Adobe Reader 9.1.2, NOT Acrobat 6.0.  But Adobe Acrobat is now the default viewer.
Does Acrobat function independently of Reader?  Or is Reader a module that is required for Acrobat to function properly?  Whatever the case may be, can somebody suggest a fix for this problem?
    Thanks,
    Neal
    [email address deleted by host]

They do not require each other for running as mentioned. There are some modules in common and that is where you run into problems. There are issues with the parts that remain resident also. I would suggest you follow the other advice you have been given. Unfortunately, there are some PDFs that may not open correctly in AA6. You may have run into some of those.

  • Download replacement installer for Adobe Photoshop Elements 11

How can I download the replacement installer for Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. I need to reinstall it on a new PC. I do have my serial number.

You put both the .7z and the .exe in the same folder. Run the .exe (double-click it) and it will automatically unzip the file and start the setup program for you.
    Cheers,
    Neale
