Offline media image appears in all my transitions
Help!! I have an that appears in all my transitions and effects, how do i get rid of it.
Yes thank you. Every time i add a transition e.i page peel, instead of peeling to next clip i get an image that is offline, after the effect ends the next clip begins.

Is there a way to control how a background images appear on all browsers?
I have created a site that includes a fixed background image so that the only thing that scrolls is the main container that holds all the content. But I don't want it tiled. I want this one image to fill the entire screen behind the container. Is this possible to control from my end (by settings or by sizing the image in a certain way) or is this something that I can't control at all?

Same image appears in all rows in jsp read only table :(
ok this is the the problem: let say i have a table IMAGES (ID NUMBER, PIC ORDSYS.ORDIMAGE) and i want to show the table in web with all images... and let say that every row have a different image loaded in db...
if i want to create an UIX page to show the content all i need to do is just to drag and drop the view as readonly table from data control pallet and when i run the app all images are listed...
but in JSP instead of different images listed i got one image in all of the rows... and when i change the row currency (click on next or preview) all images in all rows change to the image of current row.... and i dont want that...
i want to be able to show apropriate image in every row...

but that sample code have the same problem, atleast on my system... instead of differnet images in differnet rows i see the same image in all rows (image from the current row)

I just got a new printer...Epson R3000...but have had this problem before. It's probably a simple fix, but I can't figure it out. I'm asking for printing on 8.5 x 11 and the image comes out 6.5 x 9.5 every time. Help please! And thanks!
The Epson site stated that the R3000 printer can print borderless however the quality will suffer in the expanded print area. Borderless is not supported on some heavy paper. To me the means your better off limiting you images size to the standard print area. There will be magins about 1/8" on the four sides so the print area on 8.5"x11" paper is 8.26" x 10.76"....
Take note of the print size set by the epson driver it may change depending on the paper type set. Note my first epson 4800 setup where I set 8.5" x 11" sheet paper from tray into the printer setting the driver set a smaller size for the paper which was reflected into the Photoshop Print preview. It shows paper is 8.499" x 10.999 with a small unprintable area across the top....

This comes up every so often with my renders. I have a 28:30 minute project that is 100% complete. All the files are present locally, and nothing shows as offline or missing. I've gone through the final sequence frame by frame and NOTHING is offline or missing. But when I want to send it out to export, I get the message above in the title.
What's strage is if I ignore it, then sometimes the final render WILL have display the offline graphic even though it didn't display as such in the Premiere timeline.
Often, restarting Premiere and reopening the project irons that glitch out just fine, but I have one particular project that seems to do it every time. I've tried the "import into a new project" trick, but with no luck.

Anybody find a solution to this yet? I am working with Premiere Pro cs5, working with r3d footage, and am having the "offline material is present" error pop up when I try to export using adobe media encoder. Prior to that error box popping up, there is another dialogue box that says that premiere has detected that there is an update to media encoder, I am running media encoder 5.01 and tried to update it but it tells me all files are up to date.
Anyways back to the problem, there is only one shot that is affected and is rendered with the offline media image( this clip also happens to be a different colour(green or teal) than the other clips in my sequence(which are blue or greyish), not sure if this is an indication of anything. I reimported the clip, and re did the edits and then exported just that new small section to see if the error would happen again,this time however, when I did the export, instead of "queue", I just hit "export" ,and the export happened without media encoder actually opening. The file came out fine,even though I had the offline media present pop up, the video was all good. I know I changed a couple of variables in that troubleshooting, so now I am trying the entire sequence with the "export" button instead of "queue" button in the media encoder pop up box, hopefully that will help. The only downside is that it seams like it takes way longer to export this way than in the queue.
I'll report back to let you know if that helps and if I can reproduce the error with the "queue" button.
EDIT
Both exports worked, so it must have been due to the re importing and re editing of the clips, however I still get the error message "offline material is present..." I guess I'll see what happens next time I do an export. Cross my fingers. -
When browsing a new library that I created and exported onto an external hard drive, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle, the image appears, but all the other rectangles remain empty - no image. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles? I am viewing this on a second computer (an older intel duo iMac), not the one I created the library on (a MacBook Pro). Both computers have Aperture 3.2.4 installed. When I return the external to the MacBook, all images appear in browser rectangles. What's happening on the iMac?
You may have a problem with the permissions on your external volume. Probably you are not the owner of your library on the second mac.
If you have not already done so, set the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag on your external volume. To do this, select the volume in the Finder and use the Finder command "File > Get Info" (or ⌘I).
In the "Get Info" panel disclose the "Sharing & Permissions" brick, open the padlock, and enable the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag. You will have to authentificate as administrator to do this.
Then run the "Aperture Library First Aid Tools" on this library and repair the permissions. To launch the "First Aid Tools" hold down the ⌥⌘-key combination while you double click your Aperture Library. Select "Repair Permissions" and run the repair; then repeat with "Repair Database". Do this on the omputer where you created the library and where you can see the thumbnails.
Then check, if you now are able to read the library properly on your iMac.

I am trying to use photomerge compose. I open one standard jpeg image and one image that is my business logo in a png format. When I select the png image, to extract the logo from it, it appears as all white and will not allow me to select the logo from it. It has worked in the past but I downloaded the update today and photomerge will not work correctly. Any ideas?

How do you expect anyone to help when we don't know a darned thing about the file, abut your setup, exact version of Photoshop and your OS, machine specs, etc.?

I am using the Adobe Acrobat Reader on a mac and I followed all the directions to copy an image but when I press paste only half of the image appears or it appears as an empty square. What can I do to fix this?

I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.
Please share a screenshot if the issue still persists.

Background image from one slide appearing in all slides after and I can't remove it
Hello,
I'm modifying a course created with Captivate 5, in Captivate 7 and for some reason the background image from slide 35 is appearing in all slides after that one and I can't remove it. The most interesting thing is that when you look at the slides in the film strip they look different (like the original) than the one on the work area which contains the background image I'm trying to remove (screenshot below).
Any ideas or comments?

After I covert my excel file to PDF, my images are cut off or not appearing at all HELP?!

I am creating a Exel Work book and converting it to a PDF file (easy to share online).
Once I convert the Excel Work book, some of my images are cut off or not appearing at all.
Which I find weird because some images pop up just fine.
These images are originally flats from Adobe Illustrator I converted to pictures with Excel.
So why is that when I convert my workbook to a PDF file some images show through and others don't?

Images on Robohelp are very poor quality/blurry or don't appear at all

Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated as I have been attempting to solve this for several hours a day for the past week.
I have a simple employee handbook in word (about 20 pages with images) that I’m trying to turn into an html-based document. I've tried a couple if things in order to get this file into robohelp. I've linked the word document to RoboHelp and worked with that, and I've also imported the word doc into framemaker and then linke my framemaker document to Robohelp.
I’ve managed to create the html version with a table of contents doing it both ways, but there are a few images in the word document that turn out really bad in the html version. They look fine in the word document and in pdf version, but when I view them in RoboHelp or in the html version of the document they’re very blurry and choppy. It almost looks as it pixels are missing. I’ve tried everything I could think of but nothing changes the quality of the image. As soon as I link the word document or framemaker document, when I click "view" on the specific image, or just view it from the handbook in Robohelp the image looks terrible.
Someone suggested that I checkmark "do not re-generate image" under project settings but now some of my images aren't appearing at all. All of my images are the same type but I've also tried changing it to png, or bmp, jpeg but nothing changes. They're either blurry or don't appear at all.
Thanks for any help or suggestions!I don't know if this will help you, but I've had issues with poor image quality when importing Word documents into RH7. I see a fuzziness problem with most images--screen shot or not--but it seems really pronounced if the image in Word is reduced to less than 100%. To resolve this, I've opted to manually copy any Word images to another application (I use SnagIt), save them at 100% to PNG format (JPG and GIFs also work), and import the saved image files to Robohelp. That sounds like that's what you ended up doing with Photoshop.
Also, I wonder if it makes a difference how much the text was magnified/reduced when they took the original screen shots. I just did an experiment--using SnagIt, I took a screen capture of a block of text at 100% magnification. I then pasted the screen shot directly from SnagIt into my Robohelp document. It came in perfectly clean--couldn't see any obvious difference between the Robohelp text and the image of the Word text. I got the same results when I saved the screen capture to a PNG file and imported it that way. That leads me to believe the problem you're seeing is a result of having Word images automatically converted to RH.
(In the example--unfortunately hard to see-- the text in the red box is from a screen capture; the rest of the text was entered in RH8--there's no discernable difference in quality.) -
How can I get the picture to show in Photoshop CS3? The thumbnail image appears in the right side panel but the full image isn't showing at all.
What specific information would you need? The program was working just fine early yesterday morning and than when I came back in the afternoon to edit some more pictures that is when I wasn't able to see the full image anymore. It is providing me with all of the editing options as if the picture is there but it is just a blank screen with the thumbnail pic showing in the right panel.

An orphan photo will not appear in "All Images"
I have one picture in a project that does not show up when I go to "All Images" in the Library. I "imported" this picture from my desktop "Into the Aperture Library" but it did not show up in the Library.
Why doesn't it appear in "All Images"? All other images appear there.

If you control click on the library icon you will be able to select New > Smart Album. With that you can select all images (ie no filtering). That should show your missing image.
Is the date correct on your missing image? If the date is wrong, it will not appear where you expect it to. See here for some information on smart albums:

When I try to update my iPod touch, a message saying there isn't enough space on my computer appears and all media on my iPod will be lost, should I proceed with the update?
My iTunes Library is on my computer, I have done a backup manually, and all of my music is on an external hard drive (as well as my iTunes library).Thanks a lot Recycle bin is empty, I will move some files from the C drive to an external hard drive, then do the update, and then move the files back. Any files you recommend not moving to the external hard drive at all?

When I use Preview,Photo Mechanic and Pages, all JPEG or RAW images appear corrupted.
I thought my hard drive was failing and replaced it and migrated everything over but the problem still exists.
It felt as if maybe a virus was at work but I ran Sophos and found nothing.
I store images on my Drobo Raid system but when I work from my Macbook Pro I have no issues, just on the tower.
Any idea what is going on?First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.
