Offline Mode requiring me to sign in daily

I've read the documentation and it states I have a certain amount of time offline without having to sign in to have my software work. However, most of my CC products require I signin every time I open them (per day).
This leads me to believe my offline mode is not working as I understand it should. Why is it requiring me to signin so often? Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted? I don't see it in the CC window.

Hi Fabio,
Please just place the original opm.db file on the desktop
Exit Creative Cloud app.
On Windows remove the opm.db file located here: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
On Mac remove the opm.db file located here: <user>\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE
Restart Creative Cloud Connection and sign in.
If the steps above doesnt work please try to update CC desktop: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and let us know if still the same issue.

No, its not a settings problem. You are using an older version of maps which do not support free license. Go to map.ovi.com, and follow the links to download Ovi Maps 3.03 for your device. Alternatively, you could go to Nokia Beta Labs website and download the new Ovi Maps 3.04 which has the free licenses.

I have a problem I can not up grade to the new AOL due to having a MAC 10.4. Now when I go on the site opens but when I finish one thing it tells me error message Offline Mode. What can i do it just shuts the internet down.

When I open Firefox , and go to AOL.com it goes to the home page with a message to up grade. I have tried that it tells me I can not do it on my operating system MAC 10.4. Now when I sign on to Aol to use my favorites some time it lets me on, but if i write something e-mail or such it sends it them tells me error message Offline mode check off in file which I do, but it shuts down the internet. I cannot get back on.

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

Configuring Weblogic Domain in Offline Mode

I wrote a java code which invoke wlst command required for configuring weblogic domain in offline mode.

Make sure that you have weblogic.jar and jython-modules.jar
You will find weblogic.jar under %BEA_Home% / server / lib
and you will find jython-modules.jar under %BEA_Home% / common / wlst/modules

Set SPN for a local SQL Server 2008 R2 Express database used for local "Offline Mode" application

Hi - I have tried searching the web for tips on this situation. Basically, I am trying to recreate a previous employee's client Image. This image is used for one of our companies client application that features and "Offline Mode" where it connects
(Using Kerberos) to the local DB instead of the central DB server.
The custom image connects without issue. I cannot seem to recreate his configuration. I am sure of these things:
- Both images are using the same SQL Server 2008 R2 Express version.
- Both images have the same user accounts setup.
- Both images have "Remote Connections" setup with TCP/IP enabled in the Configuration Manager.
- Both images are joined to the same Domain server currently.
- Both images has the SQLServer service set to use "NETWORK SERVICE" account.
This is the error message I get when SQL starts up for the non-working image:
The SQL Network Interface library could not register the Service Principal Name (SPN) for the SQL Server service. Error: 0x54b, state: 3. Failure to register an SPN may
cause integrated authentication to fall back to NTLM instead of Kerberos. This is an informational message. Further action is only required if Kerberos authentication is required by authentication policies.

Could you please change the SQL Server Service to run under 'LocalSystem' account and restart SQL Server? Then check if the error still occurs. When the SQL Server service account is configured to use the LocalSystem account, the server will automatically
publish the SPN.
Alternatively, to work around this issue, you can manually create the SPN for the SQL Server Service account using the SETSPN tool. For more details, please review this

Java Web Start(the program itself) doesn't start in offline mode

Hi,
My Java Web Start doesn't start when my internet connection is not on??? I have a program that needs also offline access so it's crucial to get JWS work without internet connection as well.
The problem might be in those sun's example programs you can't remove? Maybe the program crashes when trying to get some information for those programs?
(please read the question well. My problem IS NOT in the .jnlp-files <offline-allowed/>)
And by the way those sun's demo programs that are supposed to start in offline mode(Internet connection not required) don't start even if you have started them once with the connection on.....

After an upgrade Firefox now throws my Mac into Work Offline mode repeatedly. What action needs to be taken so Firefox permanently disables Work Offline mode?

Immediately after an upgrade Firefox beginning throwing my Mac into Work Offline mode. Apparently, this is done anytime my connection blips out. I have tried a work-around, but to no avail. The computer is thrown into Work Offline when I daily turn on the computer, as well as in-between website windows.

We've seen more post about being in Offline mode on a Mac. I haven't seen any explanation or solution to this problem.

First thing : I can suggest you that it might not be a very feasible idea, because Widgets are usually used to display dynamic data and if you want to cache the data, it will be static.
Second : But if you have a requirement to do so, one way to do would be...

To drop a tablespace(with contents) in Offline mode

A test tablespace in the prod (24x7) was not required and to before dropping it I put it in the offline mode (with immediate option) to prevent further access.
The tablespace is not empty and presently in the offline mode.
Can I drop this tablespace ?
How?
I dont want to perform any recovery. Please suggest?

Can i see my reports in offline mode in IPAD ?

we are in 4.1 and having tomcat 7. I would like to know that is it possible to view the reports in offline ? As i did some R&D for viewing offline mode we can see the reports but when we give prompts it throws an errror saying (THIS OPERATION CANNOT BE PERFORMED IN OFFLINE MODE). Can any one help me on this.

I hope that your question was already answered by Ashish. If not, then I would like to point out the following.
Offline Support is based on Content Type
Webi - Downloaded Webi documents can be viewed when offline. However, if you would like to do some operations like drill, filter etc. which requires interaction with mobile server, you can do them online and save personal view for that webi document and then it will be available offline.
Xcelsius Dashboards - Xcelsius dashboards are available offline. Crystal - Crystal documents can be downloaded as PDF for offline use. Explorer - Explorer personal views are available offline.
Other content types like Design Studio etc. are not available offline as on today.

Hi Gautam,
The fact is that the document doesn't contain the detailed steps to extract the data, but provides information on which data is required to perform offline mode risk analysis.
You may use the standard GRC programs to download the basic information:
/VIRSA_ZCC_DOWNLOAD_DESC - Static Text (Transaction, Field Descriptions, Organizational level, Object descroptions, and field value descriptions.
/VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_SAPOBJ - SU24 data
If GRC is not configured in the box, then you have to look manually in the USR, USH, and AGR*, USORG, USOBT_C, USOBX_C tables. Extract the data and prepare the files manually.
I know it is a tedious and tough task. So the challenge is either to get GRC up or do all these tasks manually.
Last recommendation - Your comment in the article may help others too. Please spare time to leave it.

Domain creation using WLST offline mode

We are migrating from WL8.1SP5 to WL10MP2. After reading through the various options (WLST online, WLST offline, WLST.configToScript(), and Configuration Wizard) , I have concluded that we will use WLST in offline mode to create domains in our prod, qa, and dev environments. In 8.1 I had a silent script that would create domains for me repeatedly in any environment very easily. I want to map this script into the corresponding SOME_NAME.py script to be used for WL10MP2 domain.
I have the BEA provided basicWLSDomain.py (please see below) script. I have difficulty in understanding more than half of that script! I know the basic concept is to traverse the MBean tree and creat and/or set parameters. But I do not know which MBean I will need to modify/create.

1 - What is the best way to create a schema, for reporting application, during automated domain build process as we need to create new domains from the script and also be able to start and deploy applications on it. which will also require to have db schema for reporting application.
My suggestion would be to execute the scripts under /neelapu/bea/post31/RC4-samples/osb_10.3/dbscripts/oracle/*.sql with your automated process. OSB requires two simple tables WLI_QS_REPORT_DATA and WLI_QS_REPORT_ATTRIBUTE.
If reporting is not required then we can modify (I guess) in wlst offline mode to delete the below applications from domain.
