Offset Account Name

Good day! I'm currently creating a general ledger-like report. I'm trying to display the Offset Account Name but I wasn't able to. Only the Offset Account Code is displayed. The tables I'm using are OJDT, JDT1, OCRD, OVPM, and VPM2. Also, how can I display the corresponding Outgoing Payments (OVPM) Document Number of a Journal Entry (OJDT) data.
Thank you.

    Pradipta Dasgupta,
You can print offset account name using
system variable no.415 using subsidary account option and
    then select template
    'General Ledger by posting date(system)'.
I checked it offset account name appears in print preview.

  • Offset account name for BP is missing in the general ledger report

    Hi all,
while taking the ledger report of a cash account through General ledger report in the financials ,it is not showing the Business partner name ,it is only displaying the code.
    Regards,
    naresh k

    Hello,
I am trying to get the "Offset Account Name" to print in the paper report. For the "on-screen" report it is displayed and can be toggled in the form settings, but this has no impact on the printable reports. I have looked all over trying to figure out an easy way to just add the data into the report, but for the built-in Crystal report, all the items come from the "PLD_Items" database. PLD_Items F_120 is the field for the Offset Account Code, but I don't know which one it is, if it's even there, for the description field.
Short of writing an entirely new report, is there a way to add this field?
    Thank you.

  • Offset Account Name fld blank

    Dear Experts,
The offset account name field in General Ledger report of SBO is coming blank. Although the offset account code is coming properly. Can anybody explain if there is any reason?
    Thanks

    Dear Chandra,
Please first have a check about the version and patch level of your Business One. According to SAP Note 1045356, since 2005A SP01 PL23, a new column for displaying the offset account name has been added to the General Ledger report to show account name. And the test result on 2005A SP01 PL45 is also fine. Please have a try.

    Hi Smitha,
Would you please first clarify the version and patch level of your Business One, as there is several enhancement in this area, please check SAP Note 1045356 and 1061715.
Based on the testing in the latest version, Offset account name can be displayed correctly no matter it is account or BP.

  • Offsetting Account in line item display - FBL1N or FBL3N

How can I bring in the offsetting account name into the line item reports FBL1N or FBL3N?
I have applied OSS note 112312 using the SAP function LINE_ITEMS_GET_GKONT but this only brings in the account # and account type.  I would also like the account name.  I'm assuming I need to somehow change structure RFPOSXEXT  but don't know where to get the name field (I think it's GKONT_KTXT but not sure).
I appreciate any suggestions you might have.
    Thanks

    Hi
A Document is a proof of a business transaction.
A document contains Header and Line Items.
There will be minimum 2 line items and a maximum of upto 999.
Line Items display which account is debited and from which account it is credited.
while creating a G/L account , in the control data tab , there will be line item display check box. if you dont select the check box , you will not be able to see the line items ie you will not see which are debited and which are credited. you will see only the balance available in the accounts ie account balance.
you must select the line item display check box to display the line items.
selling items (materials) from sales and those line items will be displayed in G/L account or some thing else -? This is posting documents via Accounting Interface(from SD) , this results in Line Items in FI Document.
If you want to summarize FI Documents, read not 36353 and note the links to related notes.

  • Name of Offsetting Account Error in KSB1

    Hello
When I ran KSB1, I noticed that the "name of the offsetting account" lists some names incorrectly.
I ran KSB1 using the parameters of Personnel number so therefore the value in the "name of the offsetting account" should always be the vendor name of those invoices which would be the employee's names.  Instead, there are several line items that do not pick up the vendor name.  When I drill into those lines, it is evident that the system picked up something other than the vendor name in the "name of the offsetting account" column.  In this case I had entered parameters of Personnel numbers but I'm sure this problem is consistent throughout other orders as well.
Can you please look into correcting the system such that it will pick up the correct information when running KSB1.  Please let me know if you need any further details.

  • Offsetting Account Description in FBL3N.

    Hi All
I am trying to include Offsetting Account Description in FBL3N Report. BTE 00001650 for offset accout info is already activated and the values for the GKONT & GKART fields are available in the report.
I have checked couple of SAP Notes (112312, 984305, 1034354), relating to this issue but nothings seems to work out.
I tried few things like - Appending the RFPOS and RFPOSX structures, and then regenerating the RFPOSXEXTEND program.
But while regenerating the RFPOSXEXTEND program I am getting error - END OF PHASE 002 with Message No D0 322.
Also tried to add special fields in T.Code O7R3 but this doesnt allow me to add the GKONT_LTXT and I am getting error - Field name GKONT_LTXT is not allowed with Message no. FICORE405.
Is there any way out to add the required GKONT_LTXT in table T012S through T.Code O7R3 (OBVU).
    Thanks in advance

  • Offset account description

    Hi,
    We are using 2005B - PL - 41
While viewing Account balance of any GL Account Offset Code is displayed there. But I need the Account Name instead. In form settings it is not available. How can I bring the account description.
For eg. If we view TDS on contract payments in offset account column it is showing the Vendor control account code.
Is any FMS has to be assigned.
Can any body help to solve this issue.
    Thanks & regards
    Narayanan

    Hi Narayanan
The only way to get this will be an SDK development to add an additional column to the grid for displaying the account name.

  • PLD use to display account names

    Hi,
I am attempting to edit the Account Balance Printout (Chart Of Accounts Drill down on an account). My aim is to get the account names for the offset account instead of the account codes. In the print layout designer I added another field at the end of the report Source Type: Database Table: OACT Field: Account Name. Relate to: I selected the field that is displaying the offset account.
This works well for offset accounts that are GL accounts but the Business Partner names are not being displayed where the offset account is a business partner code.
    Kindly help.
    R.

    Hello Richard,
It is quite obvious, if you are using the OACT (G/L Account table) to get the Account Name and reference a BP Code value it would not work.
I am not sure if getting the BP Name would even work though I could give you tehe steps to try
    Add another database field,
Table: OCRD    (Press ALT key when clicking Table selection drop down to display all the tables in the Database)
    Field: CardName
Add a Formula field to check if the value in the Offset is a BP Code (you could use something like Offset Field starts with 'xx' where xx is your BP Code naming convension)
Link this formula to the above database field OCRD.CardName (in the link to field)

  • Offsetting Account Description

    Dear All,
In FBL*N, we get fields for Offsetting account. But it does not show the description of offsetting account. How can i add field for offsetting account description
    Regards,
    Shreya

    Hi
If you wish to add description of offsetting account (GL account long text) against a vendor document (FBL1N) then go to table SKAT and search for field TXT50  ,
If you wish to add offsetting account (vendor description) against a GL document (FBL3N) then go to Table LFA1 and search for field NAME1 and if you wish to add customer account description then go to KNA1 and search for the field NAME1.
Please note field name will not be identical in all the table , field name for a same field may differ from table to table .
    Cheers

  • Offsetting Account - FBL1n

    Hi Guys,
There is a field called Offsetting account no in FBL1n. If you change the layout, you will be able to add this field to the output.
I need to use this in a particular technical report but however the technical details of the field are RFPOSXEXT u2013 GKONT which is a structure.
But i need to give the table details of this field and not the structure details.
Where and how can i get the table name of this field GKONT.
    Thanks
    Srik.

    Hi,
Use ST05 and then activate trace and run the tcode and do the necessary thing in it.Then switch off the trace and see the log. You can get the table name.
Use where used list to find out the table name in which this field is used.
Checking the above two options, will give you the table name.

    Hi
Typically this issue happens with offsetting entry when there are more than one offsetting account. Check with your ABAP Colleague on the Coding done for this enhancement implementation. SAP is finding more than one Account and it is populating "*" for some postings.
