  • B2CBasket- Sales Order  How to add Vendor partner and new line item of SO

    Hi,
I want to add the following BEFORE the sales order creation process starts:
    Add a VENDOR partner
Add a new line item to ORDERADM_I
I suspect in BADI CRM_ISA_BASKET_ITEMS and CRM_ISA_BASKET_HEAD. I have user 'HEAD' to add extension fields but cant figure the creation of NEW partners and NEW line item.
    regards,
    Dave

    Thank you for feedback Shantoor,
The CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN need not be called as this FM is called immediately following almost all of the CRM_ISA_* BADI's.
For clarification I just want to expand on the solution..
In all of these BADI's SAP uses the CT_INPUT_FIELDS parameter. This is where you should enter WHICH fields you have made changes to in the exit. CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN uses the same parameter.
However the challenge is .. WHAT do you enter in the CT_INPUT_FIELDS. This is where you have to follow a strategy. I yused the following:
    1. Looked where the structure was used in programs/class to see how SAP used it
    2. Set breakpoints at the call of the BADI. Check what CT_INPUT_FIELDS content is (SAP uses same technique)and try and replicate for your new entries.
I hope this helps those that, like me, battled a bit with the use of these BADI's.

  • Change in Reconciliation Account of Vendor/Customer

    Hi Experts,
Can any one please tell me the scenarios where in we change the reconciliation account for the customer and vendor. If we change, what are the precautions we have to take in terms of transferring balance or open items from old reconciliation account to new reconciliation account?
    Thanks,
    SravanK

    Hi,
There is no problem to change the account number in the vendor or customer master data, that is :
All Document Items that were created in the old account will be posted in the same old account when you have a payment posting, compensations, etc.
All document created after the change will be posted in the new account as well as the payment postings, compensations and others.
The system will separate the postings in accordance with the moment at the documents were created.
You can do a test in the development client before you do the change in the production.
    For example :-
You can create a new reconciliation account because you want the G/L accounts to separate out sales. Just switched the setting in Customer Master and off you go. SAP will recognized the old account for the old postings and used the new account for any new postings.
You should run balance sheet adjustment program after any reconciliation account change.
The system performs any adjustments required due to the change of reconciliation accounts or G/L accounts. The items from the old reconciliation accounts are allocated to the new accounts.
Since you cannot post to the reconciliation accounts directly, the postings are made to temporary adjustment accounts.
These adjustment accounts should be displayed along with the relevant reconciliation account in the balance sheet. The postings are then reversed after the balance sheet has been created.
The program for sorting the payables and receivables makes the necessary adjustments automatically. This means that you have to define the adjustment account numbers and the posting keys for these postings in the system.
If you purchase and install the FI-LC Consolidation application and have bought up a previous customer or vendor (thus also taking on his/her payables and receivables), please refer to the note in the report documentation on changed reconciliation accounts. To define the account numbers, select the activity Define adjustment accounts for changed reconciliation accounts in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Implementation Guide.
You should only run this program if your new reconciliation account is classified differently from the original in your FS. e.g.. AR to Intercompany accounts. It will just reclassify the existing balance. The line items will not be transferred. If not then no need to run the program at all.

    Sreehari

    Hi,
line item reports FBL1N/FBL5N are reading the line items (wow, what a big surpise ) and displaying information on line item level.
As the vendor/customer name is NOT stored in the line items, you cannot display this in the lines (along with other item level information., like amount, posting key, doc.type, etc.). You may find a field called "Name 1) in the field catalog when configuring the ALV layout but this is empty for normal customers/vendors. It is only filled in for one time (Cpd) customers - the reason is as explained above: for these special accounts, the name IS stored on line item level (it varies from item to item),, that's why it can be read and displayed in the items.
    Now how about normal customers/vendors?
You have to activate Business Transaction Event 1650 and implement a simple code so that depending on the account type (D = customer, K = vendor), you get the business partners name from table KNA1 / LFA1 and put it into field Name1.
    Hope that helps, points welcome

  • Business Area wise Vendor & Customer Line item report

    Hi
We are on SAP ECC 6. Can I get Business Area wise Vendor & Customer Line item report (as like FBL1N)
    Regards
    Debojyoti

    Hi,
In FBL1N in dynamic selections you can give the business area as the selection parameter otherwise after execution of report with the help of layout you can set filters for business area.
Go to FAGLB03 give the vendor or customer reconciliation account along with business area. So after you execute the report you can choose vendor code and business area.
Check once it may help you

  • Reconciliation Account in Vendor/Customer Master

What is the function of reconciliation account in Vendor/Customer Master?
    Regards
    Kailash

    Hi
The  reconciliation account in the master record records all postings made to a subsidiary ledger. When you post items to a subsidiary ledger, the SAP system automatically posts the same data to the general ledger at the same time. Each subsidiary ledger has one or more reconciliation accounts in the general ledger. These reconciliation accounts ensure that the balance of G/L accounts is always zero. This means that you can draw up financial statements at any time without having to transfer totals from the subledgers to the general ledger.
You can use the reconciliation accounts to make settings:
You can use the reconciliation account to configure the screens for posting items to customer or vendor accounts. Using the reconciliation account you could, for example, suppress the fields for entering exchange rate hedges if these types of transaction are not made.
You can also use the reconciliation account to specify which currencies you can use when posting to the corresponding customer or vendor accounts.
You usually enter the local currency in the master record. Postings can then be made in all currencies to the customer and vendor accounts that the reconciliation account is assigned to. However, you can also enter a foreign currency key in the master record of the reconciliation account. If you do this, you can only post to the relevant customer and vendor accounts in the foreign currency specified.

  • Wip gl account amount and fbl3n line item gl account not matched

    hi sap gurus
    Cound any solve this error
i got one error at the time of wip calculation i.e., during settlement of order, the wip gl account amount and the FI line item gl account amount i.e., in fbl3n line item the wip gl account shows the differnt amount.
now my question is why system shows like that Plz any one tell me the solution.

    SAP Note says 968812
There are various reasons for verified differences:
    1. You made direct FI postings to material balance sheet accounts.
    2. In MM account determination, balance sheet accounts are used for operations other than 'BSX'.
    3. Material documents exist that have no FI follow-on document, even though they should.
    4. There are FI documents or other accounting documents but the source document in materials management is missing.
    Solution
    (Point 1)
The amounts from these postings do not have any equivalent in the material valuation and therefore cause the MM/FI differences. You must cancel the corresponding postings in FI. You must then set the 'Post automatically only' indicator (XINTB) in the account master record (fs00).
    (Point 2)
In MM account determination, material stock accounts can only be assigned during operation 'BSX' because only these postings update the material valuation. Postings from other operations, such as price difference (PRD) or revaluations (UMB), lead to MM/FI differences. The balances resulting from this must be transferred to other accounts in FI.
    (Point 3)
Your system contains active customer enhancements (user exits, customer exits, BAdIs) that cause an additional 'COMMIT WORK' statement to be processed. This is not allowed and results in inconsistencies. The incorrect documents can be corrected by SAP Remote Consulting (SAP employees should refer to internal Note 941721).
    (Point 4)
This case is identical with case 3. However, usually it is not a 'COMMIT WORK' statement that is responsible but a 'ROLLBACK WORK' statement in the customer source code. In particular, method MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE in BAdI MB_DOCUMENT_BADI creates a ROLLBACK without program termination and an incomplete document because the documents in accounting are created after the BADI. Therefore, a ROLLBACK must always be accompanied by a program termination.
The MM document cannot be regenerated. The accounting documents must be deleted. This can be initiated by a message (which may be subject to charges) on component FO-GL-GL-X. See also Note 636442.
    (General)
If the cause of the problem is unclear, SAP support can run an analysis. In this case, first implement the additional reports from Note 32236 in your production system.
