but I still get the message "Could not support development" in my X-Code organizer page. Can anyone tell me what I should do to continue my development on OS 3.0.1?
I can compile and execute any code perfectly on the iPhone running OS 3.0 and I am sure that my provision profile is not expired.
Thank you very much for your help.
    Best regards,
    wonghang.

thank you very much for your reply.
I have already run this command in the terminal and hence I run a "ls -al" to demonstrate that a symbolic link was created. In fact, I have been successfully to compile code on OS 3.0.1 about 1 week ago by using this method. But I suddenly cannot compile any code on 3.0.1 today...I don't know why such thing happen.

  • Does LiveCycle Designer ES2 support developer plugins?

Do the Designer products themselves support writing custom plugins through some SDK or API? Similar in nature to writing a custom plugin for Photoshop, allowing a custom user interface that can fully interact with the current document? I see a lot of information on the Internet about the ability the ability to do plugins and other custom functions for LiveCycle but not LiveCycle designer.
Any information on this would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Not sure if I got you post right, but I suspect that there are several plugins available for the enterprise suite of LiveCycle (for example www.avoka.com). However I am not aware of specific plugins for Designer that affect the UI for the users.
John Brinkman has a blog on the new ability for developers to set up macros for Designer. However this is a new feature and not fully supported. In addition you would need LC Designer ES2 (v 9). See http://blogs.adobe.com/formfeed/2010/01/designer_es2_macros.html
Windjack Solutions www.windjack.com have several plugins for Acrobat. Some of these can be used to create custom buttons and dialogs. These are developed in Acrobat, but the javascript can then be used directly in LC Designer. These give your users a custom look and feel. AcroDialogs is a particular favourite.
    Good luck,
    Niall

  • I wanna know  how the support issues come to a development/support develope

    Hi Guys,
I want to know that how the support issues comes to development system from client? what is the flow of opening a ticket in the system which is sent by client ?
Its very urgent, please reply for this post.

    Hi,
That will be taken care by your Project Manager or Team Leader.  Your Project Manager will receive the issue, discuss with functional consultants and will come to you with the functional spec if it is a straight development.  Otherwise, if the issue is a functional issue and a work around to be developed through ABAP they will come to you asking the fesibility or suggestion how it can be solved.

  • Which is Adobe product to be used for developing iPAD(IOS) applications that support PDF edit on the

    Question:
We would like to know if LiveCycle ES 8.0 supports development of applications for IOS devices like iPAD,...
Our requirement is to build applications that opens PDF on an iPAD, let the user edit and save the PDF.
If not, which other Adobe product does?
    Thanks,
    Murali

If you want to add text as comments, then a form created in Acrobat (Acroform) will work in Adobe Reader for iOS. It does not support forms created in LiveCycle Designer (XFA). There are also other PDF viewers that support Acroforms and commenting. So you don't need to create an application, just documents (PDF forms) that can be opened in an existing application (PDF viewer) that supports forms and commenting.
If you want to edit/add text that is part of the regular page contents of an existing PDF, I'm not aware of anything on iOS that does that and I don't think Adobe has anything that will help you develop an app that will.

  • Support bussiness process in sd?

i want information about  Support bussiness process in sd?

What the job responsibilites would be for the Support Consultant? If the Consultant is working in Offshore Support, How the business interaction would be there between the Consultant and Customer? How the Customer Queries were handled successfully sitting from his location.
Job responsibility of a Support consultants is to handle routine tickets, which can be incident (routine problems), change tickets (need configuration change, therefore a change request), normally a support consultant can only advice a change but can't do it , because there is always a change advisory board on client end to evaluate and implement the adviced change.
Business intercation between users and customer can be through mail box utilities, outlook, even telecons and some companies also allow chat.
Usually the customer provides with the number of the document and client/company code and other necessary info. about the process which is facing problem, the consultant tracks the project by logging in to development server and search out for causes, the solution is then sent to user, maybe with snapshot if required.
For those people who asks for for tickets:
    1. Tickets are normally raised by end user and carry a priority.
    2. Those who are asking SAP gurus to tell them about tickets, pls note that most of the problems except for the basic questions discussed in this group are the tickets themselves, tickets are nothing but the routine incidents the SAP consultants get, if you regularly read the mails in the group you will soon start recognizing tickets.
And the most important thing "Believe in yourself and God, as there is always somebody there to help you".

  • TOSHIBA Please Read - Beta Testing and Developer Community

    Hello Jim,
I wanted to respond to your posting about the status of the update but the thread has been locked, so I started a new one. Anyway, I was wondering if there was a chance that we could get a beta test version of the software provided to experienced and brave individuals that can report back to the dev team with various issues and bugs to be fixed?
The public beta will not only appease the people angry at Toshiba for missing the deadline for the update, but also provide necessary feedback to the development team that can be used to create a more feature complete update. As an Android developer myself, I would take every oppurtunity to report bugs and issues and even provide code to help implement fixes for various issues if said source is availible. I believe it would be a great idea for Toshiba to create an open source development community on these forums and to provide us with bleeding edge code for us to implement and mess around with.
Such communities already exist on various sites like XDA Developers but not with vendor support, if Toshiba provided a vendor-supported developer community around the Thrive and other Android devices such as the Excite and Folio. With a vendor supported community, we would have a place where Toshiba can make better software for the devices and developers and brave regular users can participate in the process of getting updates for our various devices. I believe that moving away from such a closed development environment would not only help Toshiba develop better devices and software, but also give the company a leg up on its competitors who do not have such a community pitching in allowing for better software to be coded.
I hope that this message is read by someone at Toshiba that can make this happen, as the benefits are truly mutual, since Toshiba would be getting better software for its devices and developers get the resources and code needed to turn Toshiba into one of the best supporters of this great open-source project.
If anyone from Toshiba would like to contact me to help coordinate such an undertaking, I may be reached at [email protected]
    Thank You For Your Time,
    Rob Gries
    Android Developer

    Hi Rob,
Thanks for the thoughtful message. Your points are well made and, while I don't disagree that there are mutual benefits, Toshiba has no current plans for directly building or supporting a developer community.
On the other hand, private beta testing for the Thrive product line was first launched last summer and I expect it to be ongoing as major software updates reach reasonably usable states within the development process. However, you won't see discussion of beta testing in the message boards because beta testers are under NDA.
Thanks again for the thoughts and for your interest in developing for Thrive!

You will need a Mac, with OS X 10.6+ on it, to be able to develop iOS apps.

  • Sugestion on Architecture supported by Oracle 8i using J Dev

    Required Application Scenario:
The Application is supposed to be web enabled with following
    features :
Application GUI contains some complex screens including Grid
controls, Grid controls with combo box, Drop down combo with
multicolumn list, splitted pane, tabbed pane and dynamic menu
and toolbars. The data displayed in the GUI is supposed to be
filled by the database. The database is on Oracle 8i. Proposed
development tool is JDeveloper. The guideline for development is
such that it requires thin clients and also reduced network
    traffic.
    Architecture support for JDeveloper
Following are the supported architectures for development of web
based applications. It includes the limitations related to the
    proposed architecture.
    1. InfoBus Data form
-InfoBus Data form uses the oracle's InfoSwing controls.
-InfoSwing control provides the data storage and retrieval
    functionality from the database.
-InfoSwing controls are mainly used in java applications.
-It does not suit the proposed architecture because applet will
    be very heavy.
    2. DBServlet
-DBServlet provides the look and feel (theme) of the HTML forms
    generated by the database servlet.
-It does not suit the proposed architecture because applet does
not come into picture and GUI will not be similar to existing
    application.
    3. Applet - Servlet or JNDI -EJB / CORBA
-JDeveloper does not support development of entity beans.
-Applet and EJB Server communication needs JNDI support which is
    not integrated with JDeveloper.
-EJB's main goal is to provide database independence,
concurrency and transaction monitoring which is not required in
    the current application.
    Suggestions:
    =============
Please suggest us the best architecture, which can be used for
the corresponding application development and deployment to
    Oracle8i.
Could you also provide some additional information on the
    following points
1.We understand that EJB solution is very similar to the CORBA
solution, but the only advantage we find that it would give an
open architecture in the later. Are there any other overheads in
    either of these solutions ?
2.JDeveloper 2.0 supports JDK 1.1.7 and JDK 1.2. We also
understand that the JServer (Aurora JVM ) which comes along with
8i supports JDK 1.1.6. Now if we deploy classes developed using
JDeveloper how will these classes run on a JServer ?
Please reply as soon as possible
    Thanks & Regards

    Here's my two cents.
The problem you're facing is a fundamental one which is
identified in the very first sentence: "Application GUI contains
some complex screens...". Since most of us have developed
client/server applications I can safely say everyone has created
screens that have each type of control known to man and half of
those are coded to do back flips in order to work.
The first and most important consideration in developing web
applications should be usability. Check out this article
    http://www.computerworld.com/home/print.nsf/all/990823BC62
Instead of one screen with "Grid controls, Grid controls with
combo box, Drop down combo with multicolumn list, splitted pane,
tabbed pane and dynamic menu and toolbars" break down each task
and present them as steps on idividual pages. Think about how we
buy things on the web. There isn't one monster tab object with
99 tabs for selection, shopping cart, payment, addresses and so
    on.
Application requirements should not be based on what controls
are needed. The job of a system designer should be to solve a
business problem. There is no rule written in stone which says
the solution must incorporate fancy controls all on one screen.
Focus on ease of use and minimum training effort for the end
user. You'll be able to achieve this with a simple, more
    intuitive design.
All of this can be accomplished with dbServlets and EJB's
producing HTML for thin clients. Unfortunately, entity beans
aren't working in the 2.0 release, but should be in 3.0. I'd
like to know when that will be available .

  • Problems with the 12.0.4 CS5 update aka poor support

In my 30 years as a technical support director for national and global companies I would have been fired long ago if the customer suport I provided was as bad as this has been. Love the products -- regret the support.
Since updating to 12.0.4 from 12.0.3 a number of 3rd party plug-ins have stopped working. In talking with the respective plug-in support teams they report that some of the conduits that pass information between LR3.4 and CS5 (12.0.4) are broken and that they are attempting to fix them.
I have now been on a weeklong thread with Adobe support in which offshore support offers me canned responses and never read my responses. Case in point. In my last interaction over the last few days I've asked how to revert back to 12.0.3. Instead of a direct answer they offered another solution to the problem.
Anyone else had similar issues? The problems I'm having issues with are NIK and OnOne plugins -- not all of them but just a few. I'd reinstall from my original disks but the I'd be back to 12.0.0.

I see some indirect problems with OnOne Software's Perfect Resize product.
I have been planning to send them a note, though I imagine they're already aware of the problems.

  • Missing Plug-ins for JBI Component Support

Hie, I'm currently trying to install a pair of JBI Component Support Development Tools plug-ins, org-netbeans-modules-jbi-apisupport.nbm and org-netbeans-modules-jbi-apisupport-jbilib.nbm. However when I try to install them via the Update Center, I get the following error:
Missing required modules for Plugin JBI Component Support:
    module javax.jmi.reflect/1 > 1.7.12
    module org.netbeans.api.mdr/1 > 1.4.12
    module org.netbeans.jmi.javamodel/2 > 1.21.12
    module org.netbeans.modules.javacore/1 > 1.18.12.2.2
    module org.netbeans.modules.jmiutils/1 > 1.5.12.2
    module org.openide.src > 1.8.11
It seems that some people trying to install other plug-ins are also looking for these plug-ins as well. Does anyone know where to get them?
    Thanks in advance, and cheers!
    Eddie

Actually, Indesign only says like "I can't open, because it was saved from a newer version" and does not list any extensions/plugins.
If you now make a new document, save it and open again - will it work?
Those plug-ins are usually enabled/disabled via the Adobe Extension Manager (Menü "Hilfe"->Erweiterungen verwalten).

  • SMP 3.x MBO Took Kit support

    Dear Friends ,
I have some basic doubts in SMP 3.x .. please help me in better understanding of MBO approach in SMP3.x .
Q1. I have a project (MBO based, offline support), developed in SUP2.2 SP05 , now we are planning to migrate/upgrade to SMP3.x , If I upgrade my mobile SDK and Server to 3.x, can i add new changes / new MBOs/ new functionality to my existing MBO project if needed ?
Q2. Is MBO tool kit is like SDK/ just for run-time environment ?
    Best,
    Dasaradhi Bendi

    Hi Dasaradhi,
Jitendra already mentioned most of the facts. SMP3 is mainly focusing on OData (pure REST is also possible). SMP3 in its basic installation does not include the MBO Runtime anymore, but you can install it as a separate stack (choose zip file during SMP3 installation). MBO apps which run on SUP 2.2 or SMP 2.3 should run (without modification) also on SMP3 MBO Runtime. Technically, the SMP3 MBO Runtime is (almost) the same than SMP 2.3 with latest service pack. There are no new MBO features on SMP3 MBO Runtime in comparison to SMP 2.3, only the SAP maintenance period is a little bit longer.
For new projects I do not recommend using the MBO approach when developing apps. For older or already existing apps it is mostly recommend to not migrate them to "new" SMP3, because of work effort, for migration scenarios check this blog entry:
    http://scn.sap.com/people/marvin.hoffmann/blog/2013/11/25/supsmp-2x-vs-smp-30--migration-effort
If you want to develop a new app which needs real offline support (Offline Caching is supported now already) I suggest you to wait for the next SMP3 service pack which will come soon...
