  • Error while installing web tier on soalaris X86-64 bit

    Hi All,
I want to install Oracle WEB TIER(HTTP server and oracle web cache), but in the step that "Specify WebLogic Domain", I obtain the following error.
INST- 07281: JRF is not setup in the specified domain
    - Enter a domain wich has JRF setup.
Then I tried to extend current domain with JRF product support to enable web cache. But I am not getting the JRF option when I extend my domain or create a new domain. I am getting only 3 options on the domain creation page:
    1. Basic WebLogic server Domain
    2. Weblogic advanced Web Services for JAX-RPC Extension
    3. Weblogic advanced Web Services for JAX-WS Extension
I am using WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.5.0 installed in production mode and using latest java jdk1.6.0_21. I am getting those option in Windows platform but not on Solaris!!!!
To resolve this i tried to install Oracle Application Development Runtime 11.1.1.2.xxx (and 11.1.1.3.xxx)
    from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/downloads/fmw-11-download-092893.html
But it is also failing giving an error “cannot execute” –
    *./runInstaller: /export/home/weblogic/WEBTIER/Application_Development_Runtime_v12/Disk1/install/solaris/runInstaller: cannot execute*
Any idea about this error or how to install Oracle WEB TIER on Solaris X86 (64 bit)???
    Thanks,
    Anshul

    Hi Cris,
Thanks for reply. I checked the permission, It was rwxr-xr-x.
Then I changed to 0777 i.e. to rwxrwxrwx But no effect....
Do you think that is there any possibility that Application Development Runtime version 11.1.2.0 and 11.1.3.0 are not compatible with Solaris X86- 64 bit environment?
    I downloaded files from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/downloads/fmw-11-download-092893.html.
Also I am trying to use 11.1.1.6 from -
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/downloads/index.html
Do you have any idea how to install JRF to weblogic?
I am trying to install this from " Application Development Runtime" or shall I try with "SOA module- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1"???
    Thanks,
    Anshul

  • SOA Suite 11Gr1 on 64 bit windows 2008 R2 server

    Hi All,
Has anybody successfully installed and and ran SOA suite 11G on a windows server 2008 64bit?
I have managed to install the software but startWeblogic.cmd crashes after a few second and nothing is written to the log file, even
if I try to run the script as administrator.
I have looked at the certification matrix and only 32bit JVM is supported, but when installing, I pointed setup.exe to the JVM that came
with weblogic install, which is 32bit. I have recreated the domain twice already.
The client does not want linux/unix OS on their servers, so that's not an option.
This is what I have installed:
    2010/07/07 08:43 PM 265 979 476 ofm_rcu_win_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip --- Failed to run rcu.bat

    2010/10/06 01:24 PM 1 045 821 796 wls1033_oepe111150_win32.exe
The rcu.bat script failed to run from the server, so I ended up running it from my local machine, but the schema creation was successful.
    Any ideas?

It seems you have used 32bit installers on 64bit machine. Please refer -

  • SOA managed server and SOA infra not starting

    Hi
I have my database and listener up and running. I can also successfully start SOA Administration server.
But I am unable to start SOA managed server. I can see SOA managed server getting started with WARNING and SOA infra always fails to start.
I tried using both from command line as well as from NodeManager but without any luck. As a result I am unable to proceed with Deployment as soa_server1 does not appear in Step 4 in Jdeveloper deployment GUI dialog. I would also like to ask from the Gurus:
How can I start soa-infra alone as I cannot see any command from the command line to individually start soa-infra ?
Here is my part of output from soa_server1. The exception errors keep logging in loop and the file is growing. I had to terminate the process:

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply
Here is my installation details on Linux 32 bit OS:
    Weblogic server- wls1032_linux32.bin
    Repository Creation Utility- ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.2.1_disk1_1of1.zip
    SOA Suite- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    JDeveloper Studio, base install- jdevstudio11112install.jar
    SOA Extension for JDeveloper- ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
The installation went very smooth and there was no errors in the same.
I can successfully start the Weblogic Administration server from the command line but unable to start successfully SOA Managed (soa_server1), Infra and BAM server (bam_server1). I tried starting SOA Managed (soa_server1) from command line as well as from Weblogic console EM (after starting Node Manager) but always receiving the errors I uploaded in my post earlier. As a result I am unable to deploy any composite application
    Please advice
    Thanks

Thank you for the reply Anuj,
Now I am able to start the Managed weblogic server .
It is working well when i tried to do it through command window. But the issues is the node manager is not up.
I tried to run the fallowing commands
    *1. Run setNMProps.cmd from $ORACLE_HOME/common/bin folder*
*2. Start the node manager from $WL_HOME/server/bin/startNodeManager.cmd*
When 1 is ran i have encountered the fallowing
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\common\bin>setNMProps.cmd
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\common\bin>ECHO OFF
Required properties already set. File nodemanager.properties not modified.

  • Cannot find SOA Suite 11.1.1.2

I download SOA suite 11.1.1.2 (ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip), weblogic 10.3.2, and RCU 11.1.1.2. Then, I install them.
However during SOA configuration, in the step of Generate a domain configured automatically to support the following products, all the product (SOA Suite, EM, BAM, JRF) versions are 11.1.1.0
    Where is SOA Suite 11.1.1.2?
I post this thread in SOA Suite forum. But no one tell me how to do next.

    Hi,
I'll forward your question internally. Maybe a labeling issue

  • Fusion middleware 11g installation steps

    Hello,
I am trying to install Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g and found some of the binaries to be installed. Please let me know if these are the software needed and
Also, please confirm which product needs to be installed first. Here, is what my guessing order is currently. Please correct me if I am wrong.
    1.     Install Oracle 11g Database
    2.     Create Repository for OIM 11g Through Repository Creation Utility(RCU) ofm_rcu_win32_11.1.1.3.3_disk1_1of1
    3.     Install Web logic Server wls1033_oepe111150_win32
    4.     Install Identity Management 11.1.2.0 ofm_idm_win_11.1.1.2.0_32_disk1_1of1
    5.     Overwrite Identity Management 11.1.3.0 ofm_idm_win_11.1.1.3.0_32_disk1_1of1
    6.     Install Identity And Access Management 11.1.1.3.0 ofm_iam_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1
    7.     Install SOA Component ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1
    8.     Overwrite SOA Component ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1
    Thanks,
    Krish.

    Krish,
There are two main installable products in IdM 11g
    A) OID/OVD/OIM 11.1.1.4 (current in 11.1.1.5) - You don't need SOA for this and steps to install/configure are documented on my blog http://onlineappsdba.com/index.php/2011/03/23/install-oracle-identity-management-oimidm-11114-oid-ovd-oif-high-level-steps/
    B) OAM/OIM/OAAM/OIN/OAPM 11.1.1.3 - You need SOA 11.1.1.3 only if you are selecting OIM . For step by step installation and configuration check
http://onlineappsdba.com/index.php/2010/08/05/oracleidm-11g-step-by-installation-of-oam-oim-oaam-oapm-oin-111130-part-i-load-schema/ (This is 8 part series)
Note : If you are installing 11.1.1.3 then select weblogic 10.3.3 and for 11.1.1.4 select weblogic 10.3.4 ()

When checked SOA infra status from deployments, status is as below
soa-infra Active Warning Enterprise Application 350
Any idea what are the guideline that i should follow for bringing up the SOA infra?
    Regards,
    Hemanth.

Can you check whether you have any application with name "em" under 'Deployments' section on weblogic admin console? If it is there then make sure that it is in "active" state. If it is not active then restart the admin server and check again.
If you do not see any "em" application there then you might have missed including enterprise manager module while creating domain. In that situation, please refer below thread to include enterprise manager in your domain by extending it -

But the strange thing is, i had checked the same jar file in another machine where the SOA_INFRA is starting fine, and still there is no such class file available. This put's me in jeopardy to decide if this is an installation issue or configuration issue.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Hi Tusha
Looking at your installers, I feel there is some inconsistency.
    1. wls1031_win32
    2. ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1
ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1 - This is latest and greatest version of SOA 11gR1 Patch Set 2 (11.1.1.3.0). This CAN be installed only on Latest Version of Weblogic Server which is WLS 10.3.3. Where as you have older version of WLS which is wls 10.3.1.
So best is to download this latest version of WLS 10.3.3. Then install SOA on top of this WLS. Create SOA Domain which has one admin server and ofcourse one managed server soa_server1. And you should be all set. I hope you already ran rcu.cmd (Repository Creation Utility) that creates schemas for all SOA Stuff. This RCU is pre-requisite for SOA.
I have same setup on my side and it works fine. I could start my soa_server1 without any issues. Instead of WLS 10.3.3, I used WLS 10.3.2 as that was only available few days back when SOA 11g R1 was released.
    Some links for reference:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/soa/soasuite/collateral/downloads.html
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/wls_main.html (you can download just Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.3) ZIP Installer - instead of first 2 installers that has OEPE etc)

  • OIM 11g install error INST-07286 mw_home has wrong version weblogic

    Hi gurus,
I have been trying to install OIM 11g from past few days
    1. I have installed Oracle 10.2.0.5
2.I installed weblogic 10.3.3 by downloading from Oracle website , wls1033_dev.zip
    3.I ran Rcu utlity 11.1.1.3.3
    4. I installed SOA 11.1.1.2.0.
I am trying to upgrade soa to 11.1.1.3.0 using ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    It gives me error
INST-07286 Specified Oracle Middle ware home does not contain weblogic version 10.3.3 , upgrade to crrect version and then retry
It does not let me further.
Can some one please help /advise ?
    Thanks,
    Pandu

    Hi Gurus,
I think I found the answer.
I downloaded wrong version of weblogic
    I had linux 32 , and wanted weblogic 10.3.3, So I went here ( row 3 , column 2)
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/wls-main-097127.html
    file name = wls1033_dev.zip
well I was wrong it was not 10.3.3 or something was wrong. SOA installer did not recognise it as 10.3.3.
Who is to blame. I wasted 3 days I hope Oracle keeps right versions in its website for download.
I got the right one from edelievry
    http://edelivery.oracle.com/EPD/Download/get_form?egroup_aru_number=11493750
    and download =
    Download      Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.3) for Linux x86      V21014-01      703M
    Hope this helps some one.
    Thanks!

  • Installing Oracle Fusion Middleware in Silent Mode = -silent

Hi there, I´m trying to install ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.1.0_disk1_1of1 (Oracle Soa Suite) through silent mode by -silent flag.
    I´m using this command :
    /<package>/./runInstaller -jreLoc <jrelocation> -silent
    I´m getting these errors :
[ERROR] All of the following variables must be present.
Provide a value for Variable Name:ORACLE_HOME
    . Aborting Install
All items behind passed successfully !
How can I set oracle_home if installation has not being done yet ? Plz any help I´d appreciate.
    Thanks.
    Edson

The easiest way to create a response file is by starting the wizard, filing in the blanks on all pages and save the result before the wizard asks you to install. Just stop here.

  • SOA Infra Mgmt API for BPEL activity details from work_item table in MDS

    Hi Guys,
Can anybody please tell, whether there is a class/interface available inside Infrastructure Management Java API Reference for Oracle SOA Suite 11g to get information of running BPEL process ACTIVITIES (invoke, receive wait etc.)?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply
Here is my installation details on Linux 32 bit OS:
    Weblogic server- wls1032_linux32.bin
    Repository Creation Utility- ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.2.1_disk1_1of1.zip
    SOA Suite- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    JDeveloper Studio, base install- jdevstudio11112install.jar
    SOA Extension for JDeveloper- ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
The installation went very smooth and there was no errors in the same.
I can successfully start the Weblogic Administration server from the command line but unable to start successfully SOA Managed (soa_server1), Infra and BAM server (bam_server1). I tried starting SOA Managed (soa_server1) from command line as well as from Weblogic console EM (after starting Node Manager) but always receiving the errors I uploaded in my post earlier. As a result I am unable to deploy any composite application
    Please advice
    Thanks
