OID Self Service Console - Page Cannot Found error

Hi,
I am using Oracle Collaboration Suite and facing problem while creating a user. I navigated to the OID Self Service Console and signed in successfully with orcladmin user. After successfull login as I click on Directory Tab to create user then Page Cannot be displayed typical browsing error appears. I cannot find whats wrong. Infrastructrue and middle tier components all are up and seem working fine.
I cannot find way to deal with Page Cannot Found error. Please help
Regards,
Sami

Try typing in the URL yourself in the address location. Do you observe the same behavior?
If the forward-slash at the end still makes a difference, then verify that you have not modified your httpd.conf on the infrastructure instance.
Here, check if your HTTP Server had any redirection rules or any aliases setup in the httpd.conf in your infrastructure. The trailing forward-slash / is generally meaningful in those places.
Also note if you see the same problem with other targets too. for instances, sso-login server.

  • Cn=orcladmin cannot log into OID Self Service Console

    Dear All 1!!
I synchronized my Microsoft AD users with Oracle Internet Directory server, and configure these users for external authentication through the use of plug-in. Every thing was running fine, unless i disabled the plug-in to enable it later again. After this activity, my orcladmin cannot log into the OID Self service console, however the migrated users can successfully log in. I can still log into the Oracle Directory manager with orcladmin.
Is there something specific i need to do to enable orcladmin to log into the self service console again.
    Regards,
    SwapSawe.

    Hi All !!!
I resolved this one, it was easy, wonder how did i miss it. The solution is to open the Oracle Directory Manager, traverse to Pluin-Management, adwhencompare/adwhenbind -> Optional properties, and enter "(|(!(objectclass=orcladuser))(cn=orcladmin))" in Plug-in Entry properties. It required a system restart to work it well, just a restart for OID ias-component won't work.
    Thanks for the look,
    Regards,
    Swapnil.

  • FAIL TO CONNECT TO OID SELF SERVICE CONSOLE AND SSO

Since a server crash on 29 Dec I have been unable to connect to OID Self Service Console or login with SSO (even though EM says both are up). When the mid-tier went down http server, portal and webcache would not start due to all three looking for wrong wallet location. Placed and saved correct wallet loc. in ssl.conf and all three came up. SSO engine would not run until I changed the password and ran ssooconf.sql

  • Problems adding attribute via OID Self-Service Console

I have added a new attribute via the Oracle Directory Manager tool, but when I map it to the Self-Service Console and select the Predefined List from the User Interface Type, and add the values to the list, only the last value will show up as many times as entries are in the list. For example, the list has the values Y N R, and when updating the value in the Console, the attributes list values are R R R.
I have not found anything on Metalink indicating a bug. Has anybody have any experience with this problem?
    any help will be appreciated.
    thanks

Please open a SR on this issue or open a bug.

  • Page not found error while accessing Identity server console(Error Code:50)

    Hi Guys,
Whenever I am trying to access the admin console of Identity server I am getting Page not found error. I believe some configuration must be missing for which I am getting this error. I am accessing the URL through following URL
http://<Portal Server Fully Qualified Domain Name>/amconsole
Please Help me if anybody has come across this problem

    Hi,
First of all, check your install logs.
Most likely you should find errors like the following
    "cannot access /usr/jdk/ent2se "
    "/usr/jdk/bin/jar" not found etc.
In these cases the problem is the JDK version.
Install the latest version of JDK and make sure that
/usr/bin/java points to the installed JDK version.
    HTH,
    Ramnath

  • OIM 11g  UDF of UI type Lookup not reflected in Self Service Profile Page

I created one UDF of type lookup in admin console. published the sandbox. Then I logged in self service console and created a new sandbox. I wanted to make udf visible in self service page so I started customizing the create user page. But the newly created udf is not visible under userVO.
    Steps to re-produce the issue:
    1. create a new sandbox in admin console. create a new udf of type lookup. publish the sandbox.
    2. login to self service console. create a new sandbox and start customizing. go to create user page. click on customize. select source and select the panel to add the udf. select data component catalog, select userVO. Under this userVO, my newly created UDF is not visible.I cant find my new lookup type udf. I can see the udf created in usr table in DB.
Please let me know if anybody have faced similar issue and its resolution.
    Thanks,
    Kalpana.

can you check whether remaining custom UDFs are appearing?
Is it a problem just with Lookup UDF type?
Also, this sandboxes are very error prone. So you need to make sure only 1 person is working during 1 specific work with sandbox

  • "Page Not Found" Error after arnd 5 mins of processing on SAP Trans iView

    Hello All,
We are facing an issue related to a SAP Transaction iView on our portal.
This transaction is supposed to upload an excel file in RPM and provide a log after the upload is performed. We are trying to upload around 180 projects and the processing goes on in the backend. The program in the backend works as required, but as the iView shows a page not found after around 5-6 mins of processing, the users cannot see the logs in the end!
I suppose there should be some kind of time-out parameter for the Transaction type iView, but we are not able to figure it out!!
We have tried the following parameters without success:
    icm/server_port_0     = PROT=HTTP, PORT=8035, TIMEOUT=3600, PROCTIMEOUT=3600
    icm/keep_alive_timeout (sec.)  = 3600
    icm/conn_timeout                = 5000
    rdisp/plugin_auto_logout       = 1800
Please do suggest if there is anything else that we need to update to get this process to continue on the Portal and avoid the 'Page Not Found' issue.
    Thank you for your time!
    Regards,
    Gaurav

    Hello George,
Thank you for the quick reply. I will surely try the option suggested by you.
But what i was thinking is that as this is not a Connection Time Out (500) error, instead its a Page Not Found error, it would be Session-Timeout and not Connection Time-Out.
Maybe I should be looking at:
    SESSION-TIMEOUT due to kernel:
        Kernel parameter:    rdisp/gui_auto_logout
        Kernel parameter:    rdisp/plugin_auto_logout
as per the SAP OSS Note: 705013
But again, I think this Note is pointing to the SICF service and IAC type of iView and not SAP Transaction type iView. Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  • Page not found error getting while access endeca application

    Hi All,
I am trying to create an application in endeca. Created application , ran neccessary scripts and created pages in experience manager.
but when i try to call the application in browser . i am getting page not found error. There are some other application which is created by copying discover electronics ,
which works fine. Please help me how can i resolve this issue. I am using endeca 3.1.0.
    Thanks
    Mark

There's not much to go on here, but it sounds like you're trying to view changes in a "live" application. To confirm this, you should execute the configuration promotion script and then check the same application URL. You can run the promote script from inside workbench. Log in as admin, then look under "Workbench Home > Administration > Admin Console > Scripts." You should execute the "PromoteAuthoringToLive" script. Once this script is complete, then test your page again.
If this works, then it means that your application is configured such that it doesn't get immediately notified of new configuration changes, i.e. it's configured in "live" mode.

  • Page not found error when  navigating in Iview  application

    Hi,
I have developed an application, and I am able to view a sucessfull preview of the Page as well. There are htmlb links on the page. When clicked, they navigate to the next jsp page. This iview was assigned to a user, and the portal was logged in though a local ip address. The application works fine.
In trying to access the portal though an external Url,the initial page comes up perfectly fine. However the next page, does not come up,when a link on the first page is clicked.I get initially a popup with the message:
"This page contains both Secure and Non secure Items
.Do you want to display the non secure Items."
The options on the Popup were yes,no,More Info.
When I clicked yes then I get the display page not found error. The error is:
" <b>The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.</b> "
The Information I get when I click on More Info is-
<b>Downloading non-secure content from a secure Web site
The Web site you are viewing is a secure site. It uses a security protocol such as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or PCT (Private Communications Technology) to secure the information you send and receive.
When sites use a security protocol, information that you provide, such as your name or credit-card number, is encrypted so that other people can’t read it. However, this Web page also contains items that do not use this secure protocol.
Given what you know about this Web site and your computer, you must decide whether to continue working with this site.
If you do not feel confident about working with this site, click No.</b> "
This problem occurs only to a particular user.If I add the role to another user, and view the iview I am able to navigate without problem(there is no popup as well).Even for this User,it is happening only when,I access through extrenal url,not when I access the portal through the local IP Address.
    Regards,
    Harish

    Hi,
This is a further Update. The problem described above has  something to do with the roles. When some roles(cusom) are assigned the navigation occurs. Can you please let me know if there is any role related configuration with SSL.
    Regards,
    Harish

  • Csv output feature results in a "page not found" error in IE (ver 8)

Has anyone else had issues with the csv output feature returning a "404 page not found" error when using IE version 8.0?

Hello. I'm getting an Http 404 The webpage cannot be found" error when trying to export any APEX application's query results into Excel (Application Express 3.2.1.00.10). This was working fine before. Nothing changed with our APEX application. I've been always using I.E. Version 7.0.5730.11 with no problems. I've reset the I.E. defaults and still the problem exists. I've downloaded Mozilla Firefox and the problem does not happen. However, I would like to know why my I.E. still gets this error? Any feedback or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

  • "Page not found" error after 5 minutes of see "processing" on the screen

We are using WebLogic 8.1 server and also the WebLogic proxy as our front end. When a user runs a process that takes over 5 minutes using the Proxy URL they receive an IE "Page not found" error after 5 minutes of seeing "processing" on the screen. If they run it on none Proxy URL (directly on WebLogic server) it works fine.
We have looked into the WLIOTimeoutSecs parameter and set in the web.xml for both the HttpClusterServlet and HttpProxyServlet, but this had no affect.
Is there another timeout that controls this 5 minute timeout? It seems if one uses Apache and sets the WLIOTimeoutSecs parameter to a higher number than 300 seconds there is not an issue.
Did this parameter get omitted for the WebLogic Proxy and if so, what does one use?
    Thanks,
    Jim

  • RRI to ABAP report - Page not found error

    Hello,
I am trying to setup a Jump from Query to an ABAP report to display long text at line item - when I do this from Web, it tries to open but ends up with a "Page not found" error. The page title bar says Bex Launacher ( RRI transactions)
We are on BI 7.0 SP10 and I have tested SICF's Webgui service, this seems to works fine ( calls SAP gui in HTML)
I tested in RSRT and it works fine. Just doesn't work from the report in Web Browser ( Go to-> program name)
    Any ideas?
