OIDDAS page not found - URGENT PLS HELP

Hi,
Let me start with explaning my environment.
I have two server Server A and Server B
Server A is sitting on DMZ zone and i have installed 10g AS , only J2EE and Webcache
Server B is in intranet behind the firewall and i have installed 10g AS , infrastructure and middle tier, bascially single box install.
As a stand alone i all the functionality on my Server B was working and accesible.
I wanted to access Portal from internet so i started to configure Server A as a reverse proxy and went through lots of metalink note and configuration ( no success till now :-( !!!)
Anyhow, during this process of configuration, i am not sure but i managed to screw up the access to OIDDAS on my server B, i.e when i go to http://<SERVER B>:7777/oiddas i get the main page, but as soon as
i click on Login link ,
on the address bar i can see it forwards the request to http://<SERVER A>/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_login?Site2pstoreToken=v1.2~8C6C3D71~140CA7EAA74F6CEFA17CCF16BF6E2C993BF1D8A545C2578E3FB35A5A5198A29DCC2F3B32B69F4728DBB196CCFCB5D6DA41CF00DE01362FB0BCF7CE188E63E5D61D102D7F83E9DF1D0B522411AD1A900D96B5B3758F793E84B0F3DEAF
I am not sure how to resolve this issue.
Pls can someone help me, its really urgent and any help would be highly appreciated.

This probably occurred during a run of ossoreg.jar, which sets up the data you see in the SSO admin page. If you re-run that with the right login server address, with pls/orasso as the "partner application URL," you should be OK. (Sorry, don't remember syntax off the top of my head--it's a complicated little utility.)

Could you post the contents of the command:
opmnctl status
Next could you post the contents of the error_log of apache (located at $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs)

Syncing files constantly issue & page not found when trying to access a file on web

Can anyone assist with syncing issue. Syncing runs all day and new files are not syncing. I can see the files in web browser (not in desktop APP) however when I try to access the files I get page not found.
I went into archive (after reading all the forums I coudl find) and I think there are a couple of damaged files as when I tried to delete them I received an encountered 'error' and could not permanently delete.
I need assistance to get my syncing fixed, and page not found fixed.

There can be a number of causes for not being able to access file form web browser. One, you might be writing to wrong directory. Two, you might not have sufficient privileges to either write to directory or overwrite files already in that directory. From your description, it's the latter of the two, so you need to get a hold of creative cloud support and get file/folder permissions fixed. Good luck.

404 (Page Not Found) Error! Changes not Appearing on webpage

Made changes in IWeb. However, these changes are not showing up on safari AND I am receiving a 404 (Page Not Found) Error! Help!! I have tried everything to resolve this

You do it at your O/S command prompt. Setting the variables depends on what shell you are using.
Bourne, Bash or Korn shell:
ORACLE_HOME=<oracle_home_path>;export ORACLE_HOME
ORACLE_SID=<sid>;export ORACLE_SIDC Shell:
setenv ORACLE_HOME <oracle_home_path>
setenv ORACLE_SID <sid>Once you have the environment variables set, you can issue:
emctl status dbconsoleto see if the dbconsole is started and what port it is listening on.
If it is not started, then issue:
emctl start dbconsole

Page not found error after logging into oiddas

Hi all,
I have configured reverse proxy setup for my application server. from external portal is accessible( with proxy hostname externally and internally after login from internet) and also sso server administration site (same as portal ) but when i am trying to access oiddas page i am not able to login and i am getting page not found error. for ssocfg.sh i have given proxyHostName and proxyPort with https and i can see external name and it is redirected with external name for sso authentication but when i logged in i am getting page not found with http 404 msg and i have followed many docs in metalink w.r.t this error but couldn't resolve after too many trials and registrations. could someone help me on this. let me know if you need any information my internal address is http://localhost.localdomain.com:7777/ external(proxy)- https://portal.localdomain.com/

Thank you for the quick reply. I will surely try the option suggested by you.
But what i was thinking is that as this is not a Connection Time Out (500) error, instead its a Page Not Found error, it would be Session-Timeout and not Connection Time-Out.
Maybe I should be looking at:
SESSION-TIMEOUT due to kernel:
Kernel parameter: rdisp/gui_auto_logout
Kernel parameter: rdisp/plugin_auto_logout
as per the SAP OSS Note: 705013
But again, I think this Note is pointing to the SICF service and IAC type of iView and not SAP Transaction type iView. Please advice.

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll.

Help! 'Page not found error' when use the word 'account' on my web page!

I have encountered the weirdest problem when making some changes to my website.
When adding text within the <p></p> tags everything is fine until I type the word 'account' or 'accounts' then I get a 'page not found' error.
Any other text can go between those tags, only the word 'account' causes the problem.
Any ideas?
(I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and its a PHP page)
I am so confused on this one, so any help would be much appreciated!

http://www.reformationassociates.com/ - This is the website, the weirdest part is, it is only happening on pages after they have been opened through Dreamweaver, so it's only once I access them that the problem occurs, I dont have to make any changes, just open them and they suddenly show up as 'page not found'.

URGENT! - Page not found

Hi,
I'm facing a major problem for my apex-application.
In development-environment there's no problem.
But when i deploy my app to the prodution-server, i got a Page not found for 1 page in the whole application.
Normally, when a page is not found, you get it like this:
Contact your application administrator.
ERR-1016 Application "312" Page "14556" not found (requested language="nl-be")
Ga terug naar de applicatie.
But now I just got the Firefox/IE-error page (page not found)
Deploying to production-server did not log any problems
There's no branch at the start of the page. URL-format is correct (https://www.+hostingserver+.be/pls/apexsaas5/f?p=312:2061:698649154368063). The javascript part doesn't do any branch either.
Anyone who's had the same problem?

Are you sure that there is not authorization scheme or condition applied on that page...
Just to pinpoint the problem try to make your page Public ???
If you edit the page of "2061", then click run icon .... your page is working fine ???
And when you use this URL, it does not work ??

Edit your page, and make sure that:
Page Access Protection is "UNRESTRICTED"

Embeded PLSQL Gateway & 404 page not found issue

If I use APEX_ITEM.TEXTAREA with Embeded PL SQL Gateway and submit the page, it throws "HTTP 404-page not found" error.
It doesn't happen when I use apache server instead of EPG.
Our production APEX is down because of this issue.
Any help/suggestions would be greately appreciated.
Here are the simple steps to reproduce the same in a EPG environment.
Note: It works fine in apex.oracle.com [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=20193:6]
Create a blank page with a report region for the following query. Add a self submit button to it. Run the page and hit the submit button and you will get 404-page not found error.
SELECT APEX_ITEM.TEXTAREA(3, 'a' || lpad('z',1999),3,80) COMMENTS
FROM dual

Note:
If you want to see this error in the same browser : exec

Hi Masa,
I am also facing the same issue. After creating a Target Mapping tile for our custom application, when I save I get the below error :
Configuration changes not saved for tile 'Target Mapping'
Error (404, Not Found) in OData response for PUT "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_CUST/PageChipInstances(pageId='X-SAP-UI2-CATALOGPAGE%3Aicch_report',instanceId='00O2THPMYBCTODLKRWF1EBX3F')": HTTP request failed Details: Resource PageChipInstance not found.
I assigned a customizing transport as suggest in your response and saved again, but that did not help either.
The surprising thing is, when our basis consultant (who has SAP_ALL) saves the tiles, he can save them. This tells me that all the necessary services to create/save the tiles are active.
We have tried to trace my userid for missing authorizations - but none was found.
Not sure what is causing the error when I save the tile..
