OIM 11g login
Hi,
I am using the following code to connect to OIM.
System.setProperty("java.security.auth.login.config", "<Absolute_Path>\\authwl.conf");
System.setProperty("APPSERVER_TYPE", "wls");
Hashtable<String, String> env=new Hashtable<String, String>();
env.put("java.naming.factory.initial", "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
env.put("java.naming.provider.url", "t3://192.168.213.134:14000/oim");
OIMClient oimconn=new OIMClient(env);
oimconn.login("xelsysadm", "Passw0rd");
I am getting the following error while trying to connect to OIM.
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.springframework.jndi.JndiTemplate).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

OIM 11g Login Screen not showing up
Hi,
I installed OIM 11g and could able to login successfully.Couple of days back,my database has got some problem and I solved it and restarted my OIM.OIM server is starting up but when I try to access the admin console,it is just saying "Loading" but the login screen is not getting displayed.
In the server log,I could see the following error during the server stop
"javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: java.lang.SecurityException: [Security:090304]Authentication Failed: User xelsysadm javax.security.auth.login.FailedLoginException: [Security:090302]Authentication Failed: User xelsysadm denied
at weblogic.security.auth.login.UsernamePasswordLoginModule.login(UsernamePasswordLoginModule.java:199)"
and the following error which accessing the admin console.
" [HTTP][java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError]] [dcid: 11d1def534ea1be0:41b34a55:12b9b675a66:-7ffd-0000000000000026] incident 20 created with problem key "BEA-101017 [HTTP][java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError]"
Any idea what might be going wrong?
Thanks,What did you solve *? ? ?* That's where lies your solution. xelsysadm is being denied the access, so could be something on password front. If you have the DB backup, revert to an older state and it would be fine.

Exception from OIM 11g login method
Hello All,
I installed OIM 11g on RHEL5 on WebLogic 10.3.3. I have written a sample client application which connects to OIM server to evaluate its various functionality.
<snippet>
System.setProperty("java.security.auth.login.config", "ABSOLUTE_PATH/authwl.conf");
System.setProperty("OIM.AppServerType","weblogic");
Hashtable env = new Hashtable();
env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "t3://HOST_NAME:7001");
OIMClient oimClient = new OIMClient(env);
try {
oimClient.login("xelsysadm", PASSWORD.toCharArray());
System.out.println("Got OIM Connection");
} catch (LoginException e) {
System.out.println("Got OIM Connection:"+e.getMessage());
</snippet>
In the above code snipped, the following exception is thrown by "oimClient.login("xelsysadm", PASSWORD.toCharArray());" line:

OIM 11g Login page not loading properly
Hi,
I have configured a new OIM 11g environment in a Linux environment.
All my applications were running fine. I was able to work on OIM administrator and Design Console (Client).
Suddenly the OIM 11g administrator login screen is not loading properly and even not able to login from Client.
I restarted the Weblogic Domain and the SOA and OIM server multiple times and they are starting without any error but page is not loading properly.
When I see the logs I get following error on page load.

Hi All,
I am trying to login to my OIM setup and it is not logging in. In short, no login is happening properly with any of the user (xelsysadm and others).

OIM 11g/ Login//Logout// activity
Dear All,
Does OIM database collect activity about who was logged in, logged out, etc?
Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards
MariaIt does not. The only details that OIM collects are example:
How many times you tried pwd wrongly. How many times you tried to reset your pwd. What are the modifications into your user. When you set your challenge questions and etc.
All of these informations are into UPA_XXXX tables. You just need to do some selects there.
Logged in and Logged out you should do this by your self looking into the OIM logs and grep the user in and out.
I hope this helps,
Thiago Leoncio. -
OIM 11g (OIMClient) API login without password
Hi,
Is it possible to login using OIMClient API with username only?
I would like to use a trusted web service to invoke the OIMClient API (using private key and username), this seems possible in the previous version of OIM, has anyone tried with 11g and how do you do it.
Alternatively is it possible to decrypt 11g password from a web service?
ThanksHi,
If you are looking for login to OIM using UserName/PrivateKey, refer the link below:

USER LOGIN GENERATION USING EVENT HANDLER IN OIM 11G
Hi
I am looking to generate user logins in OIM 11g (11.1.1.5) using event handlers. Can anyone guide me with the process and which API need to be used?
RegardsYou have to write your custom class which implements oracle.iam.identity.usermgmt.api.UserNamePolicy. Then you have to register the plugin which will contain the plugin.xml and class file of your custom code.

<Sep 2, 2012 6:34:23 PM IST> <Error> <OIM Authenticator> <BEA-000000> <Error encrypting password>
I uninstalled the whole OIM, SOA and DB and installed the same again but I am still getting the same error.
Please help me in solving this issue as I am struck and don't know how to process further.
I am using 64 bit installation of OIM.
Thanks in advance.Have you gone through below.
1. Check the file permissions on ".xldatabasekey" in <DOMAIN_HOME>/config/fmwconfig/
2. Check the credential store map in EM. Further reading: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/doc.1111/e14308/handlinglcm.htm#CIAEFAGF
Article 1327577.1, talk about "required steps to be able to deploy a custom J2EE application that is able to interact with the Credential Store Framework to retrieve user credential" -
When trying to login in OIM 11g after providing credentials, it gives internal error 500.
please note: 500 error is the most difficult HTTP error to troubleshoot , because it is very generic. It could be because of many things.
So, if you could provide us the OIM diagnostic logs when you receive it, it will help as to be helpful.
thx in advance,
Thiago Leoncio.

After new weblogic domain configuration with oim 11g, not able to login
After new weblogic domain configuration with oim 11g, not able to login for the frist time as xelsysadm.
it says invalid sign in. and in logs it says password is invalid.
Please help me in asap...Thanks Pallavi for the effort. I tried commenting out, its still the same. It do not throw exception this time. However, It tells me that the recon event is completed and linked to user. When I go to user's profile, I dont see the resource provisioned.
Also,
The Account ID in recon manager of Web Console and the Account ID that is stored in the tables, doesn't match.
I wrote a custom code to fetch account and user details and here is the output,
User Key : 13 -- has Login Id : USER_CS
Account with account key : 49 is with user key : [USER_CS]
Getting Account Data......
{UD_TEST_1P_EMPLOYEENUMBER=1567, UD_TEST_1P_NAME=Kim1}
However the Account Id in recon manager is : 91
This seems fine.
Doesn't this mean, the account is reconciled successfully?
The problem is that, I am not able to see this resource in User's resource profile.

Can't login to OIM 11g Design Console after integrate with OAM 11g
Dear All,
After successfully integrate oim 11g with oam 11g, we cannot access the design console of oim 11g anymore (access denied).
Is it cause of oam protection?
Or do we have to do additional configuration?
Please help...
Thank you,

Port numbers cannot have comma in them. Also try to telnet to that host and port from your machine to check if there is no network issue.

Retrieving Last used User Login Name in OIM 11g R2
In my scenario, i want to retrieve the last used user login in OIM for user profile, to create next User Login based on last one retrieved ?
Is there any API method available in User Management to get this value or Any customized DB query that will help ?
Setup used is OIM 11g R2 PS1.Thanks Rajiv for Input !
Still i have some doubts in my scenario. Actually i have to create new User Login in sequence based on last User Login of Last user created . This is no based on User ID. Also, whatever already existing users with user login are present , they will be uploaded in OIM for first time through trusted reconcilation.
After reconcilation is done, then hereafter while creating next user i have to update its user login attribute in sequence of latest user login used and check for its uniqueness.Suppose, in case while bulk data import in OIM for first time , the users are not in sequence of User Login attribute, then it will be difficult to get the latest user login. Is there any way to get last user created based on User Login and not on User Id ?
Hope i have given clear picture of my scenario. -
OIM 11g integration AutoLogin error (first login or forgot password)
Hi,
We are currently integrating OAM+OIM 11g (R2). We have used a 10g webgate for this.
When the user logs in for the first time, and sets his password and answers the challenge questions, he should be "Auto logged in" when he is finished.
The same scenario should happen, if the user forgot his password, and resets it. He should be "Auto-logged in" when finished.
This is not happending for us.
The OIM logs tells us this:
ERROR: Autologin failed oracle.iam.ui.platform.sso.exception.AutoLoginException: Error occured while retrieving TAP partner key from Credential store
We have tried to verify everything recommended by this Oracle Support article:
How to Solve Autologin problems in OIM with OAM? [ID 1475297.1]
Any ideas what we are missing?
Thanks & Regards,
HenrikMaybe this is a something?
Whate should the value of the property OAM_SERVER_VERSION be, when running idmConfigTool.sh and using a 10g webgate for the integration?
Chapter 7.6 in the integration documentation states this:
OAM_SERVER_VERSION: 11g (use 10g if Oracle Access Manager 10g is used)
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/integration.1112/e27123/oim.htm#CACFCJHI
Under chapter 2.4.5 in the idmConfigTool documentation it's described like this:
OAM_SERVER_VERSION: Required only when Access Manager server does not support 11g webgate in Oracle Identity Manager-Access Manager integration. In that case, value should be provided as '10g'.
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/integration.1112/e27123/idmcfgtool.htm#CIHCICHD
When we ran the script, we had the value set to "11g" (because that's our OAM version)... now I'm wondering if I need to set this value at all..
