Please help me with a SQL query which fetches all users with a specific resource in provisioning state in OIM 11g.

Thankyou it helped us a lot.
But I started working with OIM apis but I am not aware of the back end flow.
lets say when a user is being created, a request being raised untill approved, or a resource is provisioned ...I want to know what keys will generated and where they gets stored.
It would be very helpful for me if u explain and explain some more scenrios.

    Hello,
    A bit of an odd situation.  We have a report in 10g that is working as expected and when we run the same report in 11g we slightly different results.  The same physical tables and columns are being used between each report and the number of records (17) returned to OBI are the same.  Both queries are pulling from the same database with the same user id.  As there are differences in how 10g runs queries vs 11g, are there any odd behaviors that I should keep an eye out for in how 11g assembles the data that's returned from the db prior to presenting it on the Analysis?

    check the report for the columns which has incorrect values for any calculation, null handling.
    also check whether there is a difference in logical SQL between 10g and 11g.
    also check whether they are pointing to same db.
    check for null handling or default value not being set in 11g.
    try rebuilding the same report, to check the metrics individually verify they match with 10g.

  • Issue in creation of group in oim database through sql query.

    hi guys,
    i am trying to create a group in oim database through sql query:
    insert into ugp(ugp_key,ugp_name,ugp_create,ugp_update,ugp_createby,ugp_updateby,)values(786,'dbrole','09-jul-12','09-jul-12',1,1);
    it is inserting the group in ugp table but it is not showing in admin console.
    After that i also tried with this query:
    insert into gpp(ugp_key,gpp_ugp_key,gpp_write,gpp_delete,gpp_create,gpp_createby,gpp_update,gpp_updateby)values(786,1,1,1,'09-jul-12',1,'09-jul-12',1);
    After that i tried with this query.but still no use.
    and i also tried to assign a user to the group through query:
    insert into usg(ugp_key,usr_key,usg_priority,usg_create,usg_update,usg_createby,usg_updateby)values(4,81,1,'09-jul-12','09-jul-12',1,1);
    But still the same problem.it is inserting in db.but not listing in admin console.

    In OIM 9.x, we were able to provide query in lookup type field in users UDF to fetch data from DB and display it in lookup table.
    Where as in OIM 11g, I cant find that option. We need to provide user id in lookuptype field based on some query. Please let me know where we can do the same in OIM 11g.

    In OIM 9.x, we had below query in one of the lookup type attribute:
    select usr.usr_udf_empid,usr.usr_first_name,usr.usr_last_name from usr where usr.usr_emp_type='Full-Time' and usr.usr_status='Active' and usr.USR_UDF_EMPID is not null
    The lookup used to show firstname, lastname & employee id of active employees in the lookup.
    Where we can achieve the same in OIM 11g?

  • OIM 11g+Database Application Tables Resource Connectors+ MS SQL Server 2008

    Hello Experts:
    I installed DBAT 9.1.0.5.0 Resource Adapter on Linux 64 bit server using OIM 11g, I try to create Generic Connectors to configure Target Resource for MS SQL Server 2008 and after entering all the information on the second screen and click continue the screen gets stuck. This does not throw any kind of error nor any error msg are written to Log files. It's been difficult to debug the problem or know the root cause since there is no error msg thrown. No data is written from the sql server.
    I can ping to the sql server and port are open.
    Do we have to do any kind of setting on sql server to make this work?
    Does any one have ideas? Did any one face any issues like this before?
    Has any one worked with OIM connections with SQL server?
    Just throwing all these question as I am running out of ideas.

    1. I have 10 text attributes on user profile screen (UDFs), these 10 attributes should get populated based on a drop down attribute selection on the user profile -how can I achieve this functionality in ADF?
    2. Based the selection I need to query OIM Database to retrieve values for these 10 attributes -where can I embed my SQL query to populate a particular UDF?

  • SQL Concat function seem not to work properly in SQL query data model. BIP 11g

    I try to use this function to show entire name CONCAT(name, ' ', surname) and it doesnt show the surname. it looks like it only tooks 2 arguments. I use it with the option "Add element by expression" within a SQL Query - Data set.

    CONCAT(name, ' ', surname) and it doesnt show the surname
    may be because for some case "surname" is empty  or may be you incorrect use concat function
    one way mentioned by BluShadow is " || " operator  - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/operators003.htm#SQLRF51156
    and another is concat function http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/functions026.htm#SQLRF00619
    so for your case it can be like

  • OIM sql Query for getting the status of the task which got failed

    Hi Everyone,
    We have a requirement like we need to get the status of a particular task(say Create User in OID resource - Completed\Rejected status) for the particular user.We are able to get the status of the resource provisioed to the user but not the status of the particular task getting trigerred for the user.can someone put some light on this.We need to get the SQL query for this.

  • How to polulate data from lookup using request dataset in OIM 11g

    Hi,
    Using Request dataset in OIM 11g, I need to display one dropdown with the roles those need to come from Lookup.
    For Ex; I have 2 resources,i.e Resource A and Resource B. Resource A has 5 roles and Resource B has 3 Roles.
    While creating a request, If I select Resource A, then I should be able to get 5 Roles and if I select Resource B then I should be able to see corresponding 3 roles.
    Pls. note I have only one Look up definition , where I have roles for both Resource A and B.
    I have done simillar thing in OIM 10g , however I am unable to do it using OIM 11g Request dataset.
    Pls suggest.
