OIM 11gR1: Disabled Resource changes to Provisioned on modification

Version: OIM 11gR1 BP7
Target System: Active Directory using AD Connector 11.1.1.5.0
In my environment, I have a user with a disabled Active Directory resource. Whenever I make changes to the user's AD resource, the status of that resource is changed to "Provisioned" even though the resource is still disabled on the target system. I know that when a resource is disabled, you cannot edit the form. I have made the modifications through the APIs or password reset button on the OIM interface (I have setup "Change Password" process task so that password is pushed out to the user's AD resources).
I have also setup a custom icf connector and it has the same behavior as above.
I would like to know if anyone has ran into this issue before or any insights in debugging this issue.

Check if the task that is being triggered after user resource is disabled has mapping "C -- Provisioned". That could possibly be the reason!

I have configured out the XL.EvaluateMembershipForInactiveUser System Property as TRUE, but the membership rule does not get evaluated for disabled users. So the user still remain into the group. I have restarted the OIM.
I need to active the Evaluate User Policies schedule task for this configuration be effective. Or should I do something more?

I would like to ask if you can share some references or any documents which tackles on the development or creation of reconciliation rules for OIM 11GR1. Currently, we are trying to pull users from a SAP system and provision them to MS AD. Currently, we want to develop reconciliation rules such that we can avoid doing manual ad-hoc link.
Aside from the documentation guide, are there any other references there available in helping us to develop recon rules from a simple definition and from there maybe we can pick it up to define a complex one?
All answers are appreciated.

OIM 11gR1 - Request Stuck in "Obtaining Operation Approval"

Hi Guru,
we are having a problem with oim11gr1, the Request from the user are stuck on "Operation Obtaining Approval" status even though the approval workflow process has complete.
This issue also happened with Request that only use Auto Approval process provided by OIM11gR1, doesn't use custom approval with SOA-BPEL.
Is this a bug in OIM 11gR1? How do we fix this?

We use OIM 11g version 11.1.1.5.0, we haven't apply any patches yet. Do you have recommendation what patch(s) that we should apply?
Not all request with that spesific type, but only for some request (intermittent). Some request that use approval workflow from soa-bpel also sometimes stuck on "Obtaining Operation Approval" or "Request Complete" but doesn't trigger provisioning process.

Disable the 'CHANGE' button in CRMD_ORDER

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement, where I need to disable the change button in CRMD_ORDER transaction for only few orders...
am not sure about the disabling the change button, so I tried to disable the fields for input.
I tried to use the function module 'CRM_INTLAY_SET_PROCESS_TYPE' and also other BADIs like CRM_ORDER_AUTH_CHECK, CRM_BTX_EXTENSIONS...but not able to disable the fields completely.
The Conditions tab at the item level is still in change mode...

Hi Padma,
If you plan to use your idea with CRM_ORDER_AUTH_CHECK, you must also set the CRM_PRIDOC_COMM_BADI for the item condition tab. Set the CS_COMADM_I_COM-KAEND_TYP as 'X' in this BAdI.
And implement note1148666 too, if your version is fit.

SQ01 - Disable create/change button

We are currently on Basis release 4.6 C, I am trying to disable Create/Change button in SQ01 transaction, following one of the SCN posts I Unmaintained S_QUERY Authorization object. This solution worked as expected in one of the sandboxes we have, however it failed to suppress create/change button in our development system. I was wondering if there is any additional step that I would need to take in the dev box to make this change effective?

On the other hand it is nut fully clear for me, what difference does it make, if you remove the Change from one transaction, but remains in the other. If the objective is disallow the change for some users, than it has to be done through proper authorizations (i. e. only display auth for those users)

I resolved a work around by setting a screen capture program to grab the Cmd-Q before Safari sees it. Much better than losing work done in a text box and then having the browser close while trying to save the work to the clipboard and accidentally hitting Cmd-Q.

For txt messages you can change the option of whether previews are shown (Settings >> Messages >> Show Preview Toggle). Switching this "Off" will still show a notification of a missed txt message, but it will not show text from the message itself.
Unfortunately, similar functionality does not currently exist for phone calls; however, the new iOS release (scheduled for September, I think rumor has it) will revamp the way notifications are handled, and there maybe an elegant solution for you then.

Disabling Resource Governor via trace flag 8040 is failing

I am attempting to disable resource governor completely via trace flag 8040 (specified at startup in windows server) for SQL Server 2012 is faling. DBCC TraceStatus (8040) does show status as "1" and Global as "1" which means it
took the flag, but apparently I'm still able to "enable" resoure governor - which should have failed (at least according to Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Internals book by Kim Delaney).
I was wondering if anyone else has faced the similar issue, and knows the workaround then please share it on this forum.

I am experiencing this issue.
You cannot disable the resource governor, this is a serious terminological fail from the developers. It is always enabled, and the default values which it uses are challenged. In my case they effectively limit the number of concurrent jobs to 4.
My counter intuitive partial solution is this.
Enable the resource governor
Modify the default resource pool to "High Importance" and with "memory grant" = 100 (this is in the SSMS interface). Leave the other exposed values at zero (unlimited)
Increase the maximum queued IO per volume to the maximum value of 100 (pretty low value, but there you have it). http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb934013%28v=sql.120%29.aspx
Doing this enabled me to have up to 12 serious threads of execution concurrently in operation, before jobs stall with memory allocation grant wait. So far so good, but ...
The target and actual CPU usage shown in perfmon SQLServerResourceStats is still pegged around 75%. CPU monitor shows 85% for SQLServer though (go figure). In my real live case, the processes are CPU bound, so I expect to get all the CPU available.
However, the next attempt to do anything at all on the instance will wait for some indeterminate amount of time before the grant memory allocation occurs. There is no LOCK shown in the LOCK statistics that I have found and sp_who2 simply reports the active
verb (INSERT etc) with no indication that the SPID is doing nothing.
This will let you know that the governor is stalling requests. You have to figure out which ones and when.

All in all a sub-optimal solution. It is better than the default, which is fatally crippled, but still a completely inappropriate result

When in a call in Skype there is a global keyboard shortcut of CMD + Option + CTRL + Up Arrow to enable push to talk mode. There is no way to customize of disable it. I tried adding a global shortcut in keyboard maestro, it was triggered but the push to talk mode was also triggered in Skype. Is there a way to make keyboard maestro take control over these types of global shortcuts?

Not sure for Mac, but in Windows I can enable, disable or change this option. If you mean that you've reset your account's password then you might then need to log out of your account on your iOS devices by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.
