OIM 9.1 Pending task installing new conector

Hello,
I've been installed a new conector for SAP. I created a new Resource Object and some process defenition but I've two pending task in the installation:
- Task name: Installation -- Organization: Requests
- Task name: Enter Info into Oracle Identity Manager --- Organization: Requests
What could be the problem? Is there a way to retry this task?

Customizing OIM request or approval task pages

Hi,
I need help in changing the layout of a particular screen in OIM 11g R1. Below is the scenario:
User submit request.
Request is assigned to corresponding manager(s).
If request is assigned to multiple managers, one of the managers will ‘Claim’ the request.
Manager opens the request details and click on ‘Additional Information’.
Request is again assigned back to requester.
Requester will open the request from ‘Approval Task’ to submit additional information to approver.
In this page, request is divided into two parts i) Basic details, Additional Request details, Request information ii) Role/Request details.
By default, ‘Additional Request Information’ response section can be completely viewed using scrollbar OR can be dragged down. But our requirement is to align the page such that no adjustment should be made to page to view complete content of the page. Can anyone let me know how to do this? I wanted to know in which request/approval task ADF pages files (JSFF) are available to customize. I could see only user page (JSFF) to customize, but not related to request/approval task pages.

Pending Tasks works in the following manner:
- User : Any task assigned to a user remains to be visible under its pending tasks unless re-assigned to someone else by the user/admin.
- Group : Any task which is assigned to a group would not directly come to the user work flow. Whenever you login to OIM, the system checks all your groups and then do a smart calculation for these assigned tasks. So if the user is removed from a group then it would not see these tasks anymore.
Now for your case, the Group=Business Owner itself is changed. So for new requests the assignment would be to done to the new group but existing tasks remains in the work-flow of the older group, if still required them you might want to re-assign it using OIM API's.

My Nokia Lumia 620 won't install new apps or updat...

Greetings,
My nokia Lumia 620 is stuck at "pending" when I try to install new apps or update existing apps on my phone from the store. I even tried unistalling and reinstalling but still was stuck at pending. That's it no error message, no crashes. it just waits for ever and it never starts downloading
I have a nokia Lumia 920 and it works fine with the same sittings and downloads from the same Wi-Fi - What's wrong and how do I fix it?
I'm not a forums guy but I posted this because I couldn't find my problem anywhere on the internet, so I'm really desperate. I need the phone fixed ASAP.

if the battery is completely dead, just keep the phone connected to the charger, and wait about 30 mins before trying to turn it on
and fyi, if the charger is not powerful enough, lumia phones can drain the battery even if it's connected to the charger

Applications Crashing After Installing New Softwarre

Hi Folks,
Just wondering if anyone can help with an issue I'm having. After installing certain software (1st time this happened it was Skype, 2nd time it was Google Earth), applications such as Safari and Firefox crash when I either go to Print or Page setup within those applications.
When I use the Disk Utility (Verify Disk) it says:
Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Invalid sibling link
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit
1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair
At this point Repair Disk is not an option. If I wipe the drive and reinstall OSX from the install dvd the disk is fine. This makes me think it is a software issue, but it is hard for me to identify what exactly is going on. This is a new system, only a few months old, so I am hoping it isn't a hardware issue.

At any rate, any insight would be greatly appreciated!

After installing new software you should repair permissions
Repair Permissions: This should be done after all software installs and updates.
1. Navigate to Utilities/DiskUtility and launch Disk Utility.
2. Choose your volume (usually the second icon)
3. Choose "First Aid" tab
4. Click on "Repair Permissions"
(that's an aside).
The reason your "Repair Disk" is grayed out is that you cannot repair a disk if you are booted from it. The disk cannot be "mounted" during the repair process. What you need to do is boot from your CD/DVD:

Steps for using Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Tiger Install disc or Install Disk 1 that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.) Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair.
If you repair errors run it until no errors found.

Installing new library commands within Mac OS X Terminal

I would like to know how can I install new library commands within the Mac OS X Terminal.
Can anyone provide me some instructions on how to do that task?

Mac OS is Unix - so it's basically up to you to decide where you want to install command line tools.
You will need to understand that the command line tools will use a 'search path' to look for the executable code for the commands issued in the Terminal or in scripts etc.
In Terminal…
echo $PATH
Will output something like… (this is NOT the default search path).
-> /bin:/sbin:/usr/X11/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin:/ usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/opt/X11/bin
Which means the OS will look in each of those places for any command I run starting on the left (the colon is a separator). Bear in mind each user has their own search $PATH, this can be configured in the users profile (the ~/.bash_profile, ~/.bashrc and many other config files for other environments).
You can see where tools are installed via the 'which' command…
which echo ping
-> /bin/echo
-> /sbin/ping
Those locations are considered 'system' folders. In practice you will probably install into /usr/local/bin for any tools that you compile yourself. Compiled tools have arguments that can allow you to specify where it should be installed when you make the code.
Needless to say this is a complex thing to discuss, if you can be specific about what you hope to install that may help, otherwise we are left to point out vague generalities that may send you down the wrong path. What are you actually aiming to install & does it require compilation etc?
In general I'd avoid adding items to /bin, /sbin, /usr/bin, /usr/sbin , these are considered Apple's locations - software update will overwrite them. Stick with /usr/local as the location for third party tools.
Or you can create your own folder for commands/ scripts in your home folder & then add the path to the $PATH variable.

i am not able to install update or remove itunes and install newer versions,
its stops installing and a windows error is shown
i e :: windows installer service could not be accessed , this could occur if you are running windows installer in safe mode
or windows installer service is not correctly installed
the same error happens if i try to uninstall the itunes from the control panel- remove programmes option
im using windows 7 home basic 64 bit version
this eroor is not happening with any other programmes..
can someone tell me how to solve this issue

Try this for Windows 7 (64 bit),
Close iTunes - Go to Task Manager – Click the “Services” tab - select “Apple Mobile Device” - left click and choose “Stop Service” - wait a few seconds - left click and choose “Start Service” - wait a few seconds - open iTunes - connect your iDevice.

Firefox crashed. tried to delete old to install new. won't delete. tried to replace old with new, but tells me i need to close it first but it's not open

Fire fox crashed. I deleted it and installed new version, it worked fine. Got an email with possible virus, so system restored to an earlier date. When I did this, it brought back the old firefox. I tried to delete it, but it won't delete. When I tried to download new version to replace old version, it says I have to close firefox first, but it's not open. What do I do now?

Before installing the new firefox go to Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Supr), go to the Processes tab and search for any "firefox.exe" (or firefox.exe*32), give a right click and select "End Process Tree". This should be enough to let you install the new FireFox.

Installed new OS update. Can't make icons wiggle to close them

Installed new OS update on iPad and now I can't make my app icons wiggle to close them. I can touch and hold and they turn dark, but they won't wiggle with the + - in the corners so I can close.

1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close
3. The app will fly off the screen

Error 8062 when I try to copy or move files on my macbook: "This operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8062)". Can even not install new software now!!

Since a few days when I try to copy or move files on my macbook, I often get an error message saying "This operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured (error code -8062)". And then it just quits the copy or move.
I searched a lot on the internet, but only found solutions for cases you cannot empty the trash due to this issue.
I tried those solutions for my trash and that helped after some trying.
However, I still have the problem with copying and moving files.
I even cannot install new software now, as it has to copy itself to the programs-directory, and gives the same error-message.
Who can help me??

My user-account is administrator, I use a 13" Macbook Aluminium (Late 2008). Mac OS X 10.6.8 CPU 2Ghz Intel Core Duo, RAM: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3.

Tips I received so far (thanks to A-Mac via Twitter http://www.a-mac.nl and Remco Kalf http://www.remcokalf.nl/)
- make sure you have at least 10% of your harddisk in free space (I had only 5%).
- do a PRAM-reset (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379)
- perform a hardware test (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509)
- make a complete backup (with for example Carbone Clone Copier, see http://www.bombich.com/)
- after complete backup: use diskwarrior (boot from Diskwarrior DVD, first perform diagnostics, then perform "Rebuild" which rebuilds your file directory).
So far I only cleared up some space on my HD, and already the problem occurs less.
Still, I will go through the other tips too.

I am running Firefox 19.0.2 installed yesterday on a new desktop PC at the office. (Old PC failed to boot on Monday.) I have completed most of my customization without difficulty. However, when I try to install new search engines, it doesn't seem to matter which one, I get a pop-up error message:
"Sorry, you need a Mozilla-based browser (such as Firefox) to install a search plug-in."

So, in iTunes, when you look at the shuffle's content (in the sidebar) and click on the playlist under the shuffle, over to the right, the songs are in your desired order, correct? Where do you look, or what do you do, that indicates the playlists are in alphabetical order? Are you saying that when you play the songs while using the shuffle, they play in alphabetical order?
If so, when you listen to the songs on the shuffle, are you using the playlist, or are you using the All Songs list? If you are in the default All Songs list, with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order (the middle position), the songs play alphabetically, I believe.
The 3rd gen shuffle uses VoiceOver. If you are in the All Songs list, you need to use VoiceOver to switch to the playlist (see manual linked below for details). When you are in the playlist (with the shuffle's power switch set to play-in-order), then the songs should play in playlist order.
