OIM R2 Error after Installation
Hi Everyone.
I installed OIM 11g R2 after install when i open pending approvals in Identity manager console i am getting following error .
Error showing Possible could be
(1) SOA server connection info is not available
(2) If it is run in federation mode the default server may be down.
Identity, sysadmin & SOA console working fine for me.
When i checked in weblogic console & logs i can see the Admin , Managed of OIM & SOA in RUNNING mode .
Edited by: rock7777 on Sep 5, 2012 5:37 AM
even soa is in the running mode but it will be accessible in oim only if the OIM server started, after SOA is up and running. This is bug, but this is how the current release working. hope you have done it. so the problem is different but still I suggest , run both server manually using command line and start oim only if soa server is started.
what url is being redirected if you click on pending request??. And make sure you don't have beta release, because it had some issue with pending request.

Receiving error after installation when attempting to open Cricut Craft room. It says 'Application Descriptor cannot be found for this application." I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling/installing older version. Any ideas?
Thanks for the help that fixed my problem for the initial error, but I
still get the same error when I am writing a U16 2-D array to a range
of cells. This is strange because the same code is used elsewhere and
does not throw the error, but the data type is instead a Dbl 2-D
array. Unfortunately, I am unable to post the code. It is

OIM Startup Error After weblogic user password change
Hello,
I'm running OIM 10g (BP15) on WLS server in clustered mode. Everything was running smoothly until -
I changed the weblogic password after going to
security realms >myrealm >Users and Groups >weblogic > Passwords:
I was able to login to WLS using new cred (weblogic/newpasswd). But OIM server startup started giving login errors as below.
I reverted back by change by setting the old password again... but the error continued....
Please suggest. I already tried putting the correct passwords in the boot.properties. But it didn't help.
Please note.. i'm successfully able to login to WLS console.. only OIM server startup is having below errors..
OIM_SERVER1.log is opened. All server side log events will be written to this file.>

OIM 11g: Error After starting OIM server :retrieving database connection

Earlier before patching to BP02 in weblogic Datasources we have
Driver Class Name: oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource
But when I was providing this value in weblogic.profile during patching attribute name "operationsDB.driver=oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource ", I am getting this error
/data/oim/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/setup/deploy-files/setup.xml:204: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource cannot be cast to java.sql.Driver
So I changed this value to "operationsDB.driver=oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" and it runs fine. Patch completed successfully.
Is there any issue with this Driver Class Name mismatch, so I am getting this error? I have also tried for all Datasources same Driver Class Name but invain.
Regards,
AmitHi Bikash,
Nothing is changed between network/firewall. From Database machine I am able to see tnsping running fine. From weblogic admin console I have checked the connectivity of different datasource is successfull. Right now I have these datasources, all have Driver Class Name=oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver.
EDNDataSource
EDNLocalTxDataSource
mds-oim
mds-owsm
mds-soa
oimJMSStoreDS
oimOperationsDB
OraSDPMDataSource
SOADataSource
SOALocalTxDataSource
You mean For all the datasources I need to make it oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource. I make it this also but no success.
Also tell me..Summary of Security Realms >myrealm >Providers >OIMAuthenticationProvider here also I need to provide Xadatasource Driver name. -
Hi Experts,
I had a BW server with dual stack (AS ABAP + AS Java only base u2013 No BI u2013 Java server). Everything was running fine and I have checked that http://server:port/nwa, http://server:port/useradmin and http://server:port/sld was browsable although I didn't configured SLD.
My BW developer team wanted to use BEX web reports and for the same I have installed following add on usage type as per note 883948 as I had only upto SPS9 as a default installation.

Hi. Recently I installed the Student version of Flash CS 5.5 on my laptop (Windows 7), but there had been some error reports. How should I fix these? I've tried using Adobe Support Advisor and re-installation after re-starting my laptop, but neither had helped me solve the problem.
Here're my errors, copied from the report from Adobe Support Advisor:
Suite or product
Issue description

Do these have any significant potential for interference with my use of Flash? Is there any way to resolve these issues? Thanks. The Flash errors could merely indicate that a newer version of Flash palyer than the one bundled with teh package is on the system. This is a known issue and uncritical. If you experience licensing issues, that's another matter, but on a serialized install this could just as well point to the same error. If everything works, nothing to worry about.

After Effects error after installation
Hello,
i've got some problems with my After-Effects Trial version on Windows 7 (64Bit).
After the Installation in the Creative Cloud, i tried to launch the Programm, but this error pops up:
"After Effects Error <5476> <GPUManager> <2> Sniffer Result Code: 3"
Restarting the Computer, and a new installation of AE, cant remove this error.
My System:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
Memory: 14336MB RAM
Card name: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
I will update the GPU Drivers now, maybe it will help.
I hope anyone got a sollution for my Problems, cause i need them and wanted to buy PS, Illustrator and AE for my studying.
GreetingsHi, thanks for the help.
I didnt installed SP 1 right now.
Next Problem:
After the 8 GB of ServicePack 1, i have not enough space to install Aftereffects now, and i tried to find a solution, to chance the directory of the Creative Cloud Apps, but it seems to be buggy since years?
Is it not possible to install Photoshop, After Effects etc. on directory D: or E: ??
Greetings -
hi,
i am unable to boot into arch after installing it from a usb stick.
grub simply says "error:file not found" and drops me to a "grub rescue" prompt. i was surprised because i remember seeing "grub was successfully installed" during installation.
after booting into a live cd of mint, i tried to use cfdisk which showed
FATAL ERROR: Bad primary partition 3: Partition ends in the final partial cylinder
Press any key to exit cfdisk
"fdisk -l" gives this output :
mint@mint /mnt/sda1/grub $ sudo fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 120.1 GB, 120060444672 bytes

/dev/sda3 3656 4263 4883760 83 Linux
/dev/sda4 4264 14597 83003392 5 Extended
this is the way i assigned the partitions during installation:
sda1 ---> 64mb ---> /boot
sda2 ---> 30000mb ---> /root
sda3 ---> 5000mb ---> /home
i added the remaining space as an extended partition (sda4), while in mint.
Upon checking menu.lst, i found that the boot entries took the uuid of my /root partition instead of my /boot partition (no idea of how that happened). i changed them to the correct uuid but i am still getting the same error.
i have conducted fsck checks on all 3 partitions and they are all clean (no corruption of files).
these are the files in my boot partition:
mint@mint /mnt/sda1 $ ls
diag1.img kernel26-lts-fallback.img System.map26-lts
grub kernel26-lts.img vmlinuz26
kernel26-fallback.img lost+found vmlinuz26-lts

does anybody have an idea as to howto fix this? i have been on linux for only 5 months now, and cant think of anything further to do, so any kind of help would be welcome. Are you still frustrated because of cfdisk which gives you something like this:
FATAL ERROR: Bad primary partition 3: Partition ends in the final partial cylinder
Press any key to exit cfdisk
Here, I'm trying to install archlinux on a pendrive and I get almost the same error when trying to manually format the disk. The only difference is that it mention partition 0 instead of partition 3... I guess there is a bug in the livecd?
I'm having this problem with archlinux-2010.05-core-i686.iso.

Oracle 11g EM error after installation
Hi dears
I installed ORacle 11g on Windows. installation comipleted successfully, but I got an error at the end of the installation that:
"Enterprise Manager configuration failed due to the following error -
Error starting Databae Control
Refer to the log file at c:\..... for more details
You can retry configuring this database with Enterprise Manager later by manually running c:\..... "
What might be reason of this error? I and my friend installed 11gR1 on windows many times, and each time we got this error
any help will be appreciated
thank youAs requested already, post the log file. One thing, you need to ensure that you don't have the DHCP based system but would have a static IP for the machine otherwise you must install a loopback adaptor for the machine before you would configure the EM again. This may not be the error for your EM's failed installation but this is one of the prominent reasons for sure for the failure.

ESB Error after installation.
Hi, I just completed installation of SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 on a RHEL 4 Linux Box. I was checking the status of my OC4J services, when I noticed two things through the EM:
One: There were two, one called home, another soadev, which is what I named it during the installation. (Also the name of the Oracle Instance)
Two: The following Error:

Any ideas what this is? Thanks!Hi,
The 2 instances are home and oc4j_soa by default where home is the administartive oc4j instance...
naturally since you renamed oc4j_soa to soadev , you will have 2 homes..
home and soadev....
regarding the error that you see ... can you please confirm whther this is thrown in the oc4j logs? or the log.xml ....? -
Page Not Found Error after Installation
I just installed coldfusion 7. For some reason the flash
remoting did not get installed or enabled. Everything appears to
say it installs by default. Go to
http://localhost/flashservices/gateway.
I get a page not found error and it shoots to
http://localhost/flashservices/.
Did I miss a step somewhere?
I installed on a Windows XP box with IIS under the
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot. Is there something I can check or do? I am
pulling my hair out over this. Please help.
Thanks in advance.Better use BASIC installation type. If you go for advance installation you have to very carefull selecting all the key parameters. Are you looking for more specific ?? then can you please tell us the purpose of choosing advance installation type.

SOL 10- Booting error after installation
After installing SOL 10 on IBM x series server , while boot from hard disk i am getting below error .
Error
WARNING: /pci@0,..........(mpt0) Disconnected command timed out
Can anyone help me to rectify the issue ?Hi,
This may not help. I have a few x Series. My ServeRAID cards have been dying lately (2). I spent a day trying to figure out why it would not boot after a fresh install only to determine it was dead hardware. If you have an extra card you may try to replace it to rule HW out. Also I have been finding that ServeRAID is not well supported lately. I tried to upgrade one machine to MS 2008 but decided to move back to 2003 as I could not get the ServeRAID card to work.
BTW: With the HW problem the card seemed fine and formatted using the Manager boot disk.

Hi Everyone!
I installed Arch on my system with three hdds, sda, sdb, and sdc. Arch is installed on sdb with two linux partitions, sdb1 and sdb2. On sda and sdc I use Windows and they are ntfs formatted.
I don't want to use those two disks in Arch, so I only have sdb1 and sdb2 in fstab and sdb1, which is bootable and mounted at /boot, in syslinux.
But when I try to boot the system, I get an error from fsck:
fsck: fsck.ntfs: not found
dsck: error 2 while executing fsck.ntfs for /dev/sda1
ERROR: fsck failed on '/dev/sda1'
:: mounting '/dev/sda1' on real root
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'
So I googled how to disable fsck for those disks and tried
tune2fs -c 0 /dev/sda
and also
tune2fs -c 0 /dev/sda1
which both raised the error
tune2fs: Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open /dev/sda(1)
Couldn't find valid filesystem superblock
So I can't boot because these disks can't be checked, but I can't seem to be able to disable checking either. And I don't want to fiddle around with reading ntfs drives on linux.
What is wrong and what can I do? Arch shouldn't concern itself with sda at all, I just want it to leave the disk alone...
Thanks in advance!mohack wrote:In the bootloader config for syslinux, there is only sdb1, which is the linux boot partiton. On my virtualbox with only one virtual disk, it works this way. Or what do you mean?
Prove it. Post your config. My claim is that you're passing root=/dev/sda1 in the APPEND line for the selected bootloader entry. That's the logical reason that the initramfs wants to fsck and mount /dev/sda1.
mohack wrote:bohoomil: I know how to use the check flags in fstab (at least I think so), but those disks sda and sdc are not in fstab! Only the two linux partitions sdb1 and sdb2 are in fstab. I generated fstab and installed and configured the syslinux bootloader exactly as described in Arch-fstab and Arch-Syslinux.
This worked perfectly fine on my Virtualbox, but on this system with the three disks, it doesn't.
sdb? are ext4, same as in the working VB installation.
None of this is relevant when /etc/fstab isn't even available yet.
