OJ 150 Mobile Printer - disappointment!

I was fooled by HP! I bought a 150 Mobile Printer OJ when I was traveling to Orlando. I took the printer to Brazil. When I got there, I saw that I was deceived by a criminal propaganda, in my view. I searched the HP website and saw that the model of printer was printing from mobile devices. I bought it and had the sad delusion that the printer does not print from my iphone and ipad. Days ago I bought a Galaxy S4 and also unable to print. Big HP! disappointment! Money thrown away! so sad .....

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I have the same printer (a loaner from HP so I can offer help here on the Forum).
I can print easily from my Samsung Galaxy S3.
Before accusing HP of "criminal propaganda" (a serious charge), it's better that you do a bit of research on your case:
1. Samsung has hard-coded the "Print" command in their devices to only print to Samsung printers.  There are some excellent printing apps in the Play Store that can be used.
2. My phone, and every other Android device in my home can print easily to this printer via BlueTooth from practically any room in the house.
That said, would you like some help with your issue, or have you already returned a perfectly usable printer?

    Hi,
I'm happy to announce that there is now an additional solution for mobile printing using the HP NFC/Wireless 1200w Mobile Print Accessory (HP Part Number: E5K46A) that will work on a number of HP Printing devices, please see the link: http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetPDF.aspx%2F4AA4-8235ENW.pdf
The only requirement is that you have the latest firmware revision installed on the device, this can also be powered directly from the devices USB port (in your case OfficeJet 150) via the USB cable.

I'm lost...attempting to connect HP 150 Mobile All-in-One printer via Bluetooth with my MACBook Pro...just not happening...probably because I don't really know what I'm doing...so any help would be appreciated.

Hello @tko123 , and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see you're running into scan issues.  I would like to help with that!
I would suggest deleting the printer from your print system, using this document: Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once you have deleted it, I would suggest verifying and repairing the disk permissions: About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature.
I would also suggest running your Apple updates:  OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps
After the updates, I would recommend reinstalling the HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One Printer Full Feature Software and Drivers.

    Hi,
We can't have an answer because we don't know your printer. HP Photosmart Premium is a series of many printers. Firstly please check to see if your printer in the list:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
If YES, you can use this to fix/setup:
    iPad: http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/airprint/
    iPhone: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/airprint/
If NO you have to print using other apps such as :

  • Officeject 150 Mobile

I cannot install Officejet 150 Mobile printer on my MacBookPro that is configured with Bootcamp running Windows 7.  The HP Officejet 150 install CD says the USB on the computer is unsupported.  I downloaded the software from www.hp.com and tried the install again and received the same USB unsupported message.  I tried the HP Printer install wizard and it just kept looking for installation files online.  I tried to install using Bluetooth and found that it cannot find the correct bluetooth drivers.
Does anyone know what the fix is?

What version of OS X are you using?
If you are using 1.6, 10.7, or 10.8, you need to first download and install the full feature drivers for OS X.
Here is a link to that driver: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-111919-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
After you have installed the drivers on OS X, open Bootcamp and then install the Windows 7 drivers for this printer.
Here is a link to that driver: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-102612-3&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
That should get you up and running. If it doesn't, just let me know and I'll see what else I can try.
    Best of luck,

  • How can I print from my ipad 3 to a mobile printer that only has bluetooth?  Is this possible?

I have an iPad 3 with the most up to date iOS, and am looking to be able to print directly to a mobile printer.  I will be working in a remote area and will not have my computer with me, just the ipad.  The printer is an officejet 150 mobile all-in-one with built in blue tooth.  I can get it to work great from my laptop, but I need it to work from the ipad, any way of doing this?  If so what print app will work?  Or can you only print via wireless on select printers.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

You must have WiFi and an AirPrint enabled printer http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356 check to see if yours is AirPrint enabled or the manufacturer has an update to make it so.

  • HP officejet 150 Mobile & Android doesn't work

    Hey,
I have several android 4.4 clients which should use HP 150 mobile.
Therefore we bought a 1200 W Mobile Printserver.
The printer is inside the office and doesn't print pdf if connected to the printserver/router.
Everything works fine with hp Printservice if connected by USB cable, the printers starts immediately. But on the network nothing happens, but i checked the Printserver adress and the KitKat Clients with the browser.
It's an expensive solution which does not work as a HP Customer expect.
The router isn't the problem because it works with a HP Color Laserjet.
AND: Why does HP reduce the margins if you use ePrint or the webservice?
If I print the same PDF from a Windows Laptop the margins have the right size and are smaller than all the printouts over ePrint /cloudprint/ eMail Printservice...  If the customer would have known this crazy behaviour he would never have bought a 300€ inkjet printer ...
I forgot to mention that there were several aborts/problems mentioned in the android Print menu.
The only way to really print is with printershare, but even this solution fails in the moment when you switch from USB Printing to wireless. The printershare app finds the HP 150 but is not able to find the right driver , which is totally crazy, because with USB everything works fine. You have to manually choose the Printer out of dozens or hundreds of HP Printers each time you change from USB to wireless. Of cause, this is a PRINTERSHARE APP problem and HP not responsible, but it falls back to HP if Printershare is recommendend here as a solution.
My customer is going crazy that HP is not able to deliver a real reliable and robus solution which works in his  office thoughout the week and on sundays in his caravan on the road.
Each Customer wants a printsolution that work from one supplier and doesn't want to deal with a chain of suppliers.
    Thx
    WOLF

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
There are other printer apps available in the Play Store.  I used an expensive one ($12) to get reliable BlueTooth printouts from Android devices to the OJ 150.
Just another option to consider.  The app is named PrintHand.

    Hello Roelof Crevecoeur,
Scanning is not supported through a Bluetooth connection, only printing is available for such connectivity, You will need a USB in order to scan:

  • Officejet 150 wont print full pages in Word

Officejet 150 Mobile misses printing parts of a page of text in Word 2007.  I created several lines of text and it simply won't print them all.  I then filled an entire page with Ariel, size 11 font.   It skipped printing every third line.  I repeated this with a larger font and it cut the text, horizontally, along the same width lines.  Did the same thing in Corel WordPerfect X4 with the same result.  Ditto in Avery Design & Print.  It won't print entire 3/4" sections across the page.  I've uninstalled drivers/printer, rebooted, etc., several times to no avail.  Print Doctor keeps saying device is busy but it's not.  No print jobs in que, printer was cycled on and off (several times).

    Hey @dmartin05,
Welcome to the HP Support Forum.
I understand your HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One Printer won't print full pages from specific word processing programs.  I would like to help.
I recommend you try the following steps so we can determine whether this is most likely a hardware versus software issue:
From the front panel of your printer, make a black copy of an ordinary full-page text document.  Does the partial page/print quality issue persist?
Next, touch Setup / Reports/ and Print Quality Diagnostic.  How does the Print Quality Diagnostic from your printer compare to the report highlighted in the following link?:
HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One Printer Series (L511) - Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues
If you were able to make a decent copy of a text document, and your Print Quality Diagnostic Report printed without any discernible issues then we can safely assume the issue is software related.  If that's the case, please respond to this post and I'll be happy to provide further troubleshooting suggestions.
If you find it's the opposite and there are print quality issues from the front panel, treat this as a hardware issue and follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the above-linked article.
Best of luck - have a great weekend!
