Ojects from Package cannot be transported
Hello,
When I try and release a transport request, I get the following message.
Objects in package ZXI cannot be edited in transportable Workbench requests in the current system DXA. The transport routes are configured such that objects from package ZXI can only be edited in local Workbench requests.
the configuration of the transport routes must be corrected in the Transport Management System (TMS).
Kindly help me add this package to the transport routes.
Currently the Transport layer in STMS has name ZDXA.
Please advise.
Thanks.
While creating a package you have to specify teh transport layer.

Transport error: "Only edit objects from package CL in local requests"
I have made changes to an SAP original program as per Note 1096366 on SAP's service web site. The program is an Include program (LCLCMFMZ). I have assigned it a transport number, but it keeps trying to make the target local. When I change the target to DEV, it will not transport and I get the following error:
"Only edit objects from package CL in local requests"
Does anyone know what this error means?
Thanks.Thanks Nick,
but I think I have figured it out. I needed to create a transport of copies (from se09) and include this object in that transport (right click and choose 'Include object...'). Then back to se01 and display all transportable object (including transport of copies). Then select my transport of copies, choose a target system (from double clicking and going to properties). Only then would it let this object get transported. -
Error "Only edit objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR in local requests"
Hey, SAP gurus,
After I applied OSS note 1149445 in our Dev box to fix the bug in program /VIRSA/ZVFAT, I had problem to realease the transport. I got the error u201COnly edit objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR in local requestsu201D.
u201CObjects in package /VIRSA/ZVIR cannot be edited in transportable Workbench requests in the current Dev system. The transport routes are configured such that objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR can only be edited in local Workbench requests.u201D
What can I do to release the transport and move it to our QA box?
Thanks in advance!
Fisher LiMy co-worker and I followed SAP instruction on this one and solve the issue.
We created a "transport of copies" by using Transaction SE01. Go to the request overview and choose Request/task -> Object list -> Include objects to include the "child transport number of my transport" in this "transport of copies". Add the target system and release the change request.
Thanks!

Only edit objects from package ZPACKAGE in local requests
Hi Experts,
I was adding a secondary index to a Ztable present in a package ZPACKAGE. When I tried to save in a workbench request, I got the error message "You cannot use request XXXXXX". I then created a local change request where the target system is not mentioned in the transport request. I was able to save the index and later I mentioned the target system. When I tried to release the transport request, I get the message "Only edit objects from package ZPACKAGE in local requests". Kindly suggest what can I do save the changes in a transport request and release it.
ThanksCheck out the transport layer and target system for that transport layer. As someone suggested, talk to your basis.
This is most common when you have the actual table in temp folder but the index stored in Zpackage.
I would first check my objects package to make sure that they are in right package. If everything @ right place, then i will check the package transport layer and software component then check the 'use access' of the package. if the package is good then check the transport path and target systems for each transport later. -
Error : Only edit objects from package ZSD in local requests
Hi Experts,
We are modifying all Z-programs to unicode enabled programs in ECC6.0 Upgradation. While doing this we are not able to save it as a transportable request. It displays error as "Only edit objects from package ZSD in local requests".
So can anyone tell me how to save it as a transportable request.
Thanks,
Ranjith C.Hi,
two ways:
1. change the transport type: create transport type copy in se01 and copy all mentioned objects to that transport
2. better way: correct development class and transport layer
case a. target system was not definied (not known to TMS) or is empty
case b. source system (original system for objects) not known to TMS
case c. objects assigned to local package (former local development class)
etc.
If you don't understand this explanation, just use one of Z transport layers showed in stms, by changing the transport layer in the definition of the package (se80) to shown in STMS (link name from source to targed system)
Kind regards,
Mirek -
Only edit objects from package in local requests
Hello Experts,
could you help me please
a user has tried to transport a local request, I modified it by putting the target system, but when the user wants to release it, he gets the error massage "Only edit objects from package in local requests "
Thanks a lotHI
Follow the steps.
1. Create a new transport request
2. Select include objetcts
3. Object list from request and select your tranport request
4. Release the Transport request and transport.
If don't work try this other case:
1. Run tcode SE01
2. Create a new "Transport of copies"
3. Into the request, choose menu "request/task -> object list -> include objects
4. Include your transport request
5. Add the target system and release the request.
If you get any error put here

Idml from CS5 cannot be open on same machine
A idml from CS5 cannot be opened on the machine where it was made neither on CS4 nor on CS5.
„The file xxx.idml can not be opened. The file format is not supported by AdobeInDesign, a lack of support necessary add-on module or the file is already open inanother application.“
Whats up?Paul:
Well, this is quite peculiar. Looking at your IDML file (which is just a .zip file), the "problem" appears to be with designmap.xml. Your designmap begins:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<?aid style="50" type="pi_for_SaveBackINX" readerVersion="6.0" featureSet="257" product="7.0(533)" ?>
<Document xmlns:idPkg="http://ns.adobe.com/AdobeInDesign/idml/1.0/packaging" DOMVersion="7.0"...
The second line is an XML processing-instruction that Adobe doesn't really document very well. Since its a processing instruction, its outside the formal scope of the XML document and they don't really need to document it to have a conformant XML grammar.
In a normal IDML file, it looks something like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<?aid style="50" type="document" readerVersion="6.0" featureSet="257" product="7.0(533)" ?>
<Document xmlns:idPkg="http://ns.adobe.com/AdobeInDesign/idml/1.0/packaging" DOMVersion="7.0"...
See the difference? Yours has type="pi_for_SaveBackINX" and mine has type="document".
Sure enough, changing it to type=document and zipping it back up lets me open your IDML file without errors.
It's not clear what all the types are, though. Appendix B of the IDML spec gives us examples of the major IDML types. Normally they are type=document, they can also be type snippet (both for snippets and ICML). Google and the SDK are both silent on this.
Appendix C of the IDML spec (oh, right; that's at Adobe InDesign CS5 IDML Language Specification) indicates that "IDML defaults are stored in the file Predef.iddx, which is stored inside the Default folder inside the Presets folder in the InDesign application folder."
So, take a look at /Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5/Preset/default/Predef.iddx. Does it have type="document"?
In my InDesign, SaveBackINX appears in two places:
$ pwd
/Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5
$ find . -type f -print0 | xargs -0 grep -i savebackinx /dev/null
Binary file ./Plug-Ins/Filters/SaveBack.InDesignPlugin/Versions/A/Resources/idrc_PMST/1101.idrc matches
Binary file ./Plug-Ins/Filters/SaveBack.InDesignPlugin/Versions/A/SaveBack matches
I'm not really sure when this plugin gets used...
Still scratching my head on how this could happen to you though... -
"Packages cannot be nested" error in Flex
I want to use SoundFacade class from Adobe. (Here, from github). I simple created an "ActionScript File" and paste all the code. But when I want to compile my app I got following error:
1037: Packages cannot be nested.
The only reason I can guess is that the package must somehow put into the project or something.
Even when I just put a simple empty package I got the error:
package { }
Any idea what is this error about?Found the solution in the forum: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4299377

"XMLDOM package cannot be found"
I get the following message while trying to set up the design repository under Oracle 9i Enterprise 9.2.0.1.0 (Unix)
OWB version is 9.0.4.8.21 (Running from Windows)
"lineage and impact analysis won't work if user continues this installation since XMLDOM package cannot be found under this user"
I did not have this problem installing Oracle 9i Enterprise 9.1.??? (Windows) at home with the same OWB version..
please help !Oracle XML toolkit is required in database to run lineage and impact analysis. It's under Oracle 9i Development Kit node in the components tree when you run Universal Installer.
Note that this is documented in "OWB Install Guide", section 1.2.2.1 where it states "Install the Oracle9i database with the Oracle XML Toolkit option."

Error -- 1037: Packages cannot be nested.
Hi There,
I am using Flash CS3 and ActionScript3.0 for development. I
am trying to run some sample codes from Adobe site [and also from
Flash Help, copied directly] but on compiling it throws "1037:
Packages cannot be nested.". I m totally clueless... my only
assumption is... this might be a Flash/Environment setting issue.
Even if it is an Env issue... how to resolve it? Any help!!
Thanks in Advance,
Siraj Khan

// Code AttachedThe example code in the online help is horribly inconsistent.
The example that you site is meant to be pasted into an .as
external file. If you want to use this code in an actionscript
frame space then you'll have to de-package the code. Look at my
example. You have to remove the package wrapper and the sprite
extension wrapper. Then remove the "Public" and "private" prefixes
from the functions. Finally you have to call the first
function. -
Cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them.
I cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them. When Iam in transaction: SE09, I am able to see all the released objects, and the check marks next to each one which looks good...Where are these files? Under usr/sap/trans, they show up under logs with nothing in them except log data...Not in Cofiles & datafiles either.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
AlanHello Jazz!
Our developer released them, and I will get more details from him. We can see them when in SE09/10. Just cannot see them in the import queue? Also can't find the files under: usr/sap/trans, except the logs???
We just want to find these files, and either zip them up, or put them on a CD for later use, and this project will wind down soon.
Any other suggestions on how we can find these files, as all exports normally show up in usr/sap/trans/data, and cofiles...but not in this case???.
Thanks Again,

1037: Package Cannot Be Nested
Hi --
I ran in to the "1037: Package Cannot Be Nested" error when
using the sample
code in Flash help and found the "How to Use the Examples"
portion of the
Adobe Flash help files to finally get my answer. It appears
to be an issue
many others have come across so I thought I would explain in
more detail how
to solve this problem.
What you need to do is save the ActionScript file as the name
of the class,
for example "MyClass." Then you set the Flash movie "Document
Class"
(FILE-->PUBLISH SETTINGS-->FLASH-->SETTINGS) to
"MyClass." You do not need
to call/refer to/load the ActionScript file in the Flash
movie -- it will do
it automatically for you! Just make sure the FLA and the AS
file are both in
the same directory.
RichRichard,
> I ran in to the "1037: Package Cannot Be Nested" error
when
> using the sample code in Flash help
Ah, good one! Yes, thanks for bringing this up. A number of
the
current 3rd party ActionScript books -- and, as you pointed
out, most of the
sample code in the docs -- is written in the form of class
files. I've
heard from a number of people who have tried to copy/paste
such code into
keyframes, then see the 1037 compiler error.
In ActionScript 3.0, all SWFs have a Document class one way
or the
other. If you don't assign one yourself, such as the
MyClass.as you
mentioned, the SWF will receive a default Document class by
the name of
MainTimeline. Which means the SWF's code is already declared
inside a
package (automatically). The introduction of a second
(seemingly original)
package declaration in timeline code cause those two packages
to be nested,
which is not allowed.

Edit objects from package ztms in local request
Hi ,
I am checking Inconsistancy check for a Transport Request, it showing error as , " Edit objects from package ztms in local request.". can anyone please help me in resolving this error.
regards,
Govind NagotlaHi,
the reason may be, that development class ZTMS has an invalid or unknown transport layer in table TDEVC (look at field PDEVCLASS), or the whole class is unknown in your system, if the object comes from a foreign home system!

Klaus
