Ok I have a real weird situation.

I just bought a new MacPro. I backed up my old computer on an external. When I install the Airport Utility on the new system it states there is no airport available, even though I have wireless and my wireless access is through the airport. When I boot my new computer from my backup drive, I can see and change the Airport Extreme unit though the Airport Utility software.
I have tried to install the airport utility software on multiple macs and various copies of OSX (I keep different images of OSX for various things I do for example desktop publishing, audio or video editing, word processing, gaming, etc).
I am using the same build of 10.5.1 and everything else seems the same other than the older drive was an upgrade from 10.4 where my new computer is fresh from Apple.
Any ideas?
Things I have tried:
1) reboot
2) re-power the airport extreme and cable
3) reset the airport extreme
4) created another fresh os X install on a different backup drive but same problem

I'm trying but nothing comes my way to assist other than this point:

Okay, i was changing display settings on my mini. i am on tiger 10.4.4
My normal setting is 1020 X 740.
I scrolled down, and accidentally clicked the last setting, way to high for my monitor!
and now, my mac will not display ANYTHING!
i turned it off, and did a safe oot by holding down the shift key, and everything looks good, so i went to but the resolution at its LOWEST. a gauranteed working setting!
So i restart it and it is coming up in NORMLA BOOT.
I still can't see anything. the resolution is STILL too high!
How can i change my res?!
it tried the safe boot, now what!
please help, i had to drag out a dell to type this!

Hi,
okay...for Operations like max, min, avg, etc. you must use an Aggregation in a Mapping.
Delete Operations you must handle in the Table Characteristics.
(Right Click on top of a Table --> Context Menu --> choose delete).
To come to your Target you must made several Steps in the Mapping and lead the Data through the Conditions.

Just joined bt and have a real big problem!!!!

hello there i was very happy untill this morning with my new bt infinity package which was installed last tuesday.i have only just realised with horror that i have taken delivery of the wrong tv box.we have chosen a humax youview box when we should have opted for a bt vision+ box so we could receive the extra 18 channels and sport.we ordered over the phone and i was told it was just a matter of paying a £10 fee to get espn and i didnt realise the extra channels i was paying an additional £12.50 for was the six packs add on which is completely different.anyway i rang up this morning and was told it would cost £199 to change boxes!!!!!!.is this correct??.if so ive got a year with a useless box with next to nothing i want to watch!!.what are my options please.
on the plus side i am delighted with the phone and broadband!!

stuart can you give me a bit more info about the schedule for the humax box being enabled?
It is scheduled for the summer but lime all schedules it could slip. It requires an update to the software

Weird situation in Z_ALV_report!!!!!!!!!

Hi Experts,
This is a weird situation, I dont know, Why its happening????
I enhanced and added SubTotals to the existing Z_alv_report.
But, the Sub totals functionality is NOT working!!!!!!!! even though I did every thing correct!!!!!!!!!!
So, I did as follows,
SE38-> Specified my Z_alv_report>applcation tool bar> used the COPY button> copied from Z_alv_report INTO Y_Z_alv_report, including all i.e. Selection textx, Varints etc.> Cont.-----> Activated........now.
F8
Then, its working correctly!!!!!!!!!
So,
1)Why its happening?
2) So, I deleted all the code in Z prog. --->actgivated
then, I copied the Y version code and did Paste in Z version------>activated
But, not working the sub totals!!!!!
3) So, How to fix my problem? I guess, I shuld not RENAME the exting prog.. which is in production!!
4) Can I delete the existing Z_alv_report.......... create transport.......then, creation of new prog. but, with same name as deleted i.e Z_alv_report........again copying&pasting.........!!!!!!!!
Is it works? Is it OK, with BASIS? I mean, no transport mess?

I got weird situation with BINARY SEARCH !! bcoz, below is my code,

so, why, ebven though there r all entires in it_vbap, why am getting the sy-subrc NE 0??

Does anyone have any real answers to what specs the Best Buy version of the U43JC has?

I called Best Buy 1-800 number numerous times and everyone keeps giving me different answers. And being on the phone with them so often I figured out what they do, they go bing.com or google.com and do a search. They have no real facts other than what other websites are saying.
1) Processor: It says I5-450m, but the processor speed states "2.26Ghz" which is the speed of the I5-430m. So, I5-450m or I5-430m?
2) Built in Webcam says on Best Best as being 0.3mp....but every other website that is pre-selling this model says 2.0mp..So, 0.3mp or 2.0mp?
3) There is no mention of built in Bluetooth for the Best Buy model, but other sites selling the U43JC says built in Bluetooth. Does the best Buy model have built in Bluetooth?
4) There is no mention for the U43JC of having WIDI (Intel Wireless Display Technology) but all the other websites selling this model state it having WIDI. Does the U43JC that Best Buy is selling have WIDI?
5) I know Asus offers a 8 cell battery with 4400mah or 5600mah......All the other websites specifically state 8cell 5600mah. Which 8 cell battery does the one Best Buy is selling have?
6) All the other websites mention the U43JC having 2-2.0 USB and 1-3.0 USB, while Best Buy mentions 3-2.0 USB. Does the Best Buy version of the U43JC have 1-3.0 USB?

Only BBYs buyer will have such details on product. They don't answer phones.

If this is regarding your information line that says a stolen iPhone, Apple can do nothing to help you. You must track the iPhone yourself using iCloud and must have turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone before it was stolen. If that was not done, there is no way to track the iPhone.
Report the theft to the police and the cell service provider and ask if they can blacklist the iPhone so it cannot be used. Change all passwords associated with acconts on the iPhone.

OK, that's a bit more information.
iMovie was probably already running when you imported the pictures into iPhoto and wasn't aware of the last import.
Try to quit iMovie and iPhoto, then launch iMovie again. The last import should show up.
Please take a few seconds to proof read your posts and also make then easy to read (no large letters, no underlining, no double line breaks in the middle of a sentence etc).

QUESTION:
How is possible the thread RequestProcessor[12] enter in the method publish() if the RequestProcessor[10] did not leave the meyhod yet????? Note that publish() is synchronized!!!

You probably have several object instances, from looking at the code it calls target.push or target.publish. Synchronized only blocks other instances of the same object from concurrently executing synchronized code. If you truly need to lock the CLASS, not the INSTANCE of class, then you need to synchronize on another object, such as {YourClass}.class

Cracked iPhone 4, weird situation. Help PLEASE!?

I have a very unusual situation with my iPhone 4 and I guess I just want someone else's view on it.
I was in my living skills class at school and we were making food. While we were waiting for it to come out of the oven, my phone being completely fine before, I set it on the table and was talking to some of my friends and looking at a video on another friends phone. I turned back to grab my phone and check it and it was cracked at the VERY middle at the top and is cracked to the ear speaker and branches off around it, luckily not on the camera. I have no idea how it happened and my friends were all really confused also because not one of us including me had touched it. We think someone could have walked by and hit it or done something to it. But we all have NO idea what happened so really it could have been anything. I don't know what to tell the apple store, I'm going to a mall near Seattle this weekend and ANY help or advice for my situation would mean a lot. Please.

About 9 months ago, the glass BACK of my iPhone 4 broke after I sat on it in bed. I took it in to an Apple store, and they fixed it for free right then and there, without an appointment. But they told me that if the front screen is ever broken, it cannot be repaired, because Apple builds the phone on top if the screen, and there is no way to pry it off and glue it back on again. We are getting ready to do some stress testing on a clustered WLS RMI
          environment. Does anyone have any real world experience with this type
          of environment. I'm looking for information related to performance
          (transactions per second), how does it scale as you add new instances
          (does it get to a point where another instance actually degrades
          performance), how easy is it to administer the cluster?
          Any input would be greatly appreciated,
