OK, I just got my site integrated for Google analytics......
What I did was copied the "NEW" legacy code, I believe it was called, then I opened the index file for the site in text edit and copied the code from google just before the <body> tag then saved the file and republished. It worked!! Keep in mind that this is just the google analytics part and not the verification but I am hopeful that this same type of action will work for verification. I'll post up what I find.

My dad just got the new MacBook for Christmas. His friends all use PC's and they keep sending him these joke email attatchment files that he can't open on his Mac. One was a .wma audio file, presumably some were video files. Is it possible for him to read these files on his Mac with some aditional software or not? I haven't used Mac's predomanatly before so I'm unsure. What software should he download?
Playing video files from your computer is completely independent of the optical drive. You could play say a Windows Media file even if you didn't have a drive as long as that file is on your computer.
That said some report problems using VLC to play DVD's (hence using your optical drive).
But to the original poster..... Flip4Mac and/or VLC that was suggested should do the trick. About the only thing that would stop those would be a WM10 file that have DRM attached and there's nothing you can use at this point. It's highly unlikely that a bunch of jokes being sent around (great way to get a virus by the way, I know you probably won't and that's why you have a Mac but you get the idea) is using WM10 though. -

Congrats on your new LG Enlighten! It's such a great smartphone to have! I use Google to connect with my friends and family so I am very familiar with your requests. It sounds like you would like to (1) prevent your pictures from automatically uploading to Google and deleting the pictures that were already added to Google . No worries! I have inlcuded the steps for both procedures, below.
* To turn off Instant Upload:
Open the Google application
Tap 'Settings'
Turn 'Instant Upload' off
* To Delete Pictures from Google account:
Open Google application
Tap the red Google plus icon on the upper left
Tap 'My Photos'
Tap 'Instant Upload'
Tap 'Menu' then 'select items'
Tap the pictures you would like to remove to highlight
Tap the 3 dots on the upper, right
Tap 'Delete photos'
I trust this information will prove successful in making sure your friends and family are only able to see the pictures you desire! Please let us know if you need anything further.

I need to track clicks on links that go to an outside website. I've read about "event tracking code". I'm not sure if it's the right tool to use. And if it is, I've spent several hours reading about it and I can't figure out how to use it. It looks like you need to be an expert developer to be able to make sense of all this. I've always been helped when I ask a question here, I'm hoping that someone can help me.

I added a code that I created using the tool I found here: General Event Tracking Code for Google Analytics but can't see to be able to make this work. I added this code to the first link called "View it Here" for the top, left house. "Use this to track visitor behavior on your website that is NOT related to a web page visit, such as interaction with a Flash video movie control or any user event that does not trigger a page request."
Clicks on links are page requests. I think for your purposes, you may want the Cross Domain Link Tracking plugin.

My hubby just got me a macbook air for Xmas which is awesome. Set it up to be able to ichat on it as well as on my iphone. Only now i wont get texts on my iphone- ONLY on my laptop. How can i configure so that I can get texts on my computer AND my phone. NOT just one or the other? Please help!

The Mac version will use your Apple ID as the first and only choice...
... Until you add the same Apple ID to Messages on the iPhone.
Once this is done it is best to Restart the app on the Mac.
This will then get at least one, possibly two pop up saying the iPhone in using the Apple ID and the iPhone Number.
Accepting these Pop ups will enable the iPhone as an ID to be used in the Receive At List.
It will also appear in the drop down at the bottom for "Start New Conversations from"
If you did not set iyt up like this then remove the apple ID from the iPhone in the Settings > Messages.
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode to break with the server.
Take it out of Airplane Mode and re-add the Apple ID in the Messages settings.
Then Restart the app on the Mac as above.
Having done this you can still turn Off the Apple ID on the iPhone (receive as the iPhone number only) or disable the iPhone Number on the Mac (receive Apple ID stuff only)
The Start New Conversations option on the Mac version means you could use the iPhone number so people don't get your email.

No, because without such software Windows is not capable of reading a Mac formatted iPod (or any other drive). -

Itunes 10.5 can't open 2nd time on windows 7. Logging off and on again helps, but ...
After having installed iT 10.5 on Windows 7 iT starts without any problems. After quitting iT however, it cannot be restarted without logging off and logging on again. Anybody have a solution/fix ?
