ok i need lots of help here... i have a WRT54G router and trying to hard wire a computer to it and wirelessly connect to a laptop... i have dsl internet connection... the power light is blinking constintly and when i try to setup the router the default password doesnt work already tried to reset the router and that didnt help... any thoughts> thanks

the power led blinking all the time can be caused by a corrupt firmware, or a defective power adapter, try doing a hard reset, you may need to do it a couple of times, and then power down both the modem and router.
after a couple minutes, power up the modem, wait for the link led lights up, then power up the router and look for it to link up with the modem, at this time the power led on the router should be on solid if all is ok.
if it still don't light solid, you may need to do a firmware update, or the router is defective.

I need a little help. I have a WRT54G Wireless Router, and it worked well for years with my Alcatel DSL Modem (Bellsouth/ATT). The modem went out and it was replaced with Westell Modem. When I bypass the router I have no problem connecting to the Internet, however when I connect the router--no connection. I thought it would not be a problem swapping the modem out. I am running XP with Norton Internet Security and Anti-virus. I have disabled Norton and do not believe that to be the problem. Do I have to reconfigure the router? If so, can I do it with the original install CD? (I am disabled and the original CD/instructions/box is in the attic and I cannot get it easily.) I have read several different threads, but they do not specifically address my problem. Any assistance is appreciated. Eddy

Many Westell modems are actually "modem-routers" and they use the same 192.168.1.1 address space as your WRT54G. This is the root of your problems.

Note that the "WAN" port on the BEFSR41 in the example is the same as the "Internet" port on your WRT54G.

try changing the router's MTU for wired and change the advanced wireless settings on the router as well.

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person

I created project in iMovie then exported it to MP4 and also MOV file at highest definition possible + I added it to iDVD and had a number issues about encoding errors regarding the mp4 file. MOV worked but the quality was terrible.....

I have updated iDVD and iMovie.
I even bought the iSkysoft app from the mac store and that was terrible too.

I would love to think that it is a problem with the playback system, and that if I merely send the file off to the duplicator they won't have the same problem. Maybe that is the case...I don't know if I have a choice rather than sending it off to see. But it happens in the same spots, in the same way, on all three of the players so I'm a little reluctant to have faith.

Of course, but in the case there is no more 'original project.' It is gone like the wind, stolen along with his computer and backups.
I think I am stuck using one of two files as my master: a DVD he burned where I only see the stutter/vibration/jitter once, or the mpeg2 file where I see it three times. Hopefully, the duplication house can rip if off of one of them and not see the jitter. I know that in audio, my personal filed, you can do a lot to enhance already existing sound--EQ, compression, tape saturation emulation software, etc. I guess I'm hoping there is some kind of analog to the video world that address jitter after a source has been printed--if indeed the source has been printed to be jittery.

Having the imei won't help you find your phone.
If you setup and enabled find my phone prior to losing it then go to icloud.com
If you didn't set it up - then there nothing you can do.
Call your carrier and let them know, change all your passwords.

Help I have a BEFW11S4 router and my labtop wont connect to the internet but my desk top is connected. I called for Tech. support and they wanna charge me $30 to tell me to go to a website to reset settings. I am not paying $30 thats insane just for tech. support.

they usually send you to the 192.168.1.1 or something similar. I forget how to ping also so I couldn't check that.

I changed the channels mine was set on 6 when I went into setup. My internet connection is set to PPPoE It didnt say anything that said " beacon interval" or "RTS and Fragmentation threshold" where would I find that at??
Anyway my wireless computer can connect online with excellent strength but my desktop will not connect. I disconnected the router and pluged the computer into the modemn and I had internet access although my signal was not great. All my lights are solid.
Should I bite the bullet and just go get a new router??
