Session holding lock..need to find the apps user holding that SID

in v$lock
a session is blocking another session..Sid is displayed there
now i can kill that session if it is holding a lock for too long and i do so too
But i want to know which apps user was it..there more than 500 users that connect from EBS r12..how would i know whichh user that sid belongs to
so basically i need to know the apps user holding that SID which is blocking the other session

Help writing a program that uses Add/Remove programs

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to create a program that will utilize add/remove programs to repair an installation of a program. Specifically I'm trying to write something that will help automate repairs of QuickBooks installations. I've tried using Filemon to figure out what executables I might need to call and I've searched high and low in the forums and Google for help but I'm not getting anywhere. Is there some sample code out there that shows you how to work with the Add/remove programs screen and the programs in it?

HELP for editing program that comes with the EOS REBEL T3

I have Canon Rebel T3. Recently I had computer problems and my programs were wiped out.

Background on the game:
This is a well known simple two player game. The play takes place on two grids, the size of which is agreed through establishing X and Y co-ordinates within an XML file. The grids represent a map of a piece of ocean on which is arrayed the naval fleet consisting of an aircraft carrier, various battleships, destroyers, frigates, mine-sweepers and possible submarines. Each vessel occupies certain squares on the grid.
Im desperate for help in developing an applet which each player will run to create an XML document instance that holds the information about the players fleet. Any help would be really appreciated as i desperatly need some help.

I am in need of desperate help ... my Outlook (2011) is regularly asking for my password and throws up an error message (Yellow triangle)

I have done a bunch of google searches and as best as I can understand it, because I have 2 devices (iPhone, and now iMac) that are trying to look to the mail server at the same time, a problems exists.
My ISP is Time Warner by the way and is a rr (road runner) email address, a POP email as best as I can understand it.
Eventually, the mail does finally "break through" and is delivered but there is a time lag for receiving my mail. I thought that at first, it could be an "Outlook" issue, but successfully set up the "Mail" icon that comes pre-bundled on my iMac, and the same error message is being hit.
How can I PLEASE get some help ... I am beyond frustrated and KNOW that if I call Apple, they will blame Time Warner and RR and if I call Time Warner RR, they will blame Apple. Can somebodoy please help me before I lose my mind?
The error message I get is that my account is locked by another session or by maintenance and asks me for my password (which I know to be correct).

In mail, go to Window - Connection Doctor & report what the result is for your outgoing server ( usually the last item in the list of tested items )
is the outgoing server in mail entered exactly as on your pc?, you're using the same isp as before?
most of these type of issues are easily resolved - come back with a little more info + armed with your mail server details that you used on he pc.

When I plug it into the computer it is not showing up, although it makes the sound that it's connected. It just keeps saying "Do not disconnect" and is burning hot. I've tried to reset it and restore it. Now there are no songs on it. When I press select and menu at the same down, it powers down but then starts clicking. Any suggestions?

Restoring your ipod would delete all of the songs that were on it. Is her ipod set up to manually take in songs or automatically take them in? It sounds like a harddrive problem. Did you get an extended warrantee?

In Need of desperate help with Partitioning.

Here is the situation.
My lab of machines with the following with configuration.
Disk 0 80GB-One partition 100% -this is just a blank drive, no data.
Disk 1 1TB-2 partitiions
1-200gb-OS goes here.
2-Use rest of free space-data drive.
I'd like to apply OS on Disk 1 partition 1, but in my logs it says this action is not supported. In my ts on the apply OS image I have specific disk and partition set to 1 and 1
for the data drive of disk 1 I have set specific disk and drive to drive 1 and partition 2
It doesn't seem to be working. I also have made Disk 1 the 1 TB the primary boot drive in the BIOS.

Need a little help with a program...

I have an assignment for class where we have to write a recursive program using a method that calculates Hermite Polynimials.
the math-like definition looks like this:
Hn(x)=
n<=0 : 1
n==1: 2x
n>=2 : 2xH(n-1)(x)-2(n-1)H(n-2)x
(but the H(2-1) and H(n-2) are subscripts...)
well, the program is supposed to accept arguments for n and x from the command line.
but I'm having problems..
here's the code that I have:

both errors say the same thing, but the first one, the pointer points to the first Herm() call, and in the second error, it points to the second Herm() call in the equation. I know what it means, but I don't know how to fix it.
any help would be greatly appreciated!!

return ((2*X)*(Herm(N-1, X)*(X)) - (2*(N-1)*(Herm(N-2, X)*(X))Also, you need to pass X back into your Herm function again, since it takes two parameters.

I need help finding a program that can read .db files

I was wondering if someone knows any tool to open and read .db files. Here I'm referring to files utilized in DS 5.2 Patch 6.

With DS 5.2 we do provide a way as Chris stated using slapd. You need to stop the directory, then (cd/slapd-instance_name/bin/slapd/server).
Then run ./ns-slapd dbtest .
The command line usage is the following.
usage: ns-slapd dbtest -D instancedir -n backend-instance-name [-d debuglevel] [-S] [-v]
To capture the output what I do is run script and then after <cntrl-d> to exit the script mode.

Is there any way to use microsoft outlook 2010 on ipad? Or is there apple app or program that will copy over all of the existing structure, folders, etc... and sync?

I recently received a gift of a new ipad. Unfortunately I can't really switch from my Windows lap top until I figure out a way to use the ipad for my business emails which I use Outlook 2010 for. There are a singnificant amount of folders and history, with various attachments, that I have to have access to and I have been unable to find a way to move all of this over to the ipad. I use Yahoo mail for my primary mail server and can get the Yahoo mail on the ipad with no problem. But I do not have the full folder structure set up on Yahoo that I have on Outlook 2010 and to do so would be very time consuming...and I'm note even sure how I could move all the folders back to Yahoo and all the emails contained in them, many of which have been long deleted form Yahoo, back to Yahoo. Ideally I would just install Outlook 2010 on ipad and export all the files over. But there doesn't seem to be any Outlook 2010 program for ipad...if there is, please tell me about it. Otherwise, I need a relatively quick alternative that will not force me to recreate my entire Outlook 2010 folder structure and copy emails over folder by folder. If anyone has had the same issues, and was able to solve them, I would very much appreciate knowing how to do this. I like the ipad and want to use it for my main platform. Thanks

We are not able to run java, flash, or shockwave on our laptops unless we
log into the workstation first as an administrator. Is there a way to fix
this so that the students do not have to log onto the workstation first as
administrator?
