I have store receipt future shop I have baught iPod touch Apple TV lg phone this iPad bellin case d link router multiple cords I tunes card the least future shop and apple should do is take this back and repair and sell to your discount places and I should for my support get a new no issue ipad unless you respond and it truly is A fix ... iPad mini I couldn't afford full size air it's only a week or 2 shy of 6 months and has 9.8gb left and only 5+ used I shouldn't be crashing and being disrupted trying to use a 350 dollar machine that's under 6 months I tryed the garage band fix from a site but it crashes in any app just hit or miss all day ...help me, I love Nd enjoy my od touch n it's only 4th gen, I use my Apple TV daily would love to afford a MacBook Pro and ipad air but I'm on disability and am only 30 addiction. Further, you can always make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your nearest Apple Store and take the machine there for free advice and basic diagnostics (though any service may cost money outside the warranty).
Finally, Apple offers a 14-day, no-questions-asked return policy. If your machine isn't working properly right out of the box, take it back and get a different one.

Recently my iMac running 10.8.5 started shutting down in the middle of things like saving pics or emailing. An accompanying error message told me to contact Apple support.. here I am. If I rebooted it runs ok for a few more days. I enjoy YouTube and Hampster any suggestions?

Since about 2 weeks ago for no apparent reason, the internet on my iPad suddenly stopped working (when I open Safari, it says: "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the Internet"), even though the Wifi icon in the top left corner still shows full signal. However, I noticed when I went into Wifi settings (Settings>Wifi) that there is no checkmark next to my network name (only the spinning circle icon, as if it's trying to process something). This only happens at home (I can browse the internet while connected to Wifi at university). My other Apple devices (MacBook Pro and iPhone 4S) work perfectly fine at home.
I've tried resetting my router, restarting my iPad, resetting Network Settings on my iPad, and tried following Hynes' instructions on this thread:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2453187?start=15&tstart=0, but nothing has worked so far (although I have to admit that I found the instructions on that thread somewhat confusing, so there is a chance that I accidentally did not follow them properly).
Could someone please help? It'd be VERY much appreciated. -

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

I was charging and updating my mini ipad last night when it suddenly shut down and will not turn on since then. What do I do to turn it on again?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Garage Band, I am using an MBOX with a digi design audio core as a mic interface to recod into Garage Band. Now when I Change the preferences to use the MBOX I can not move the recorder slider and there is no sound going into garage band? Any solutions
10.5.8 with latest garageband 5.1 with MBOX 1. On Nov 4.09 I did a software update, now i get no output volume or input volume to the computer itself. I get it from head phones from my mbox, but not to the computer. Before the software update It worked great. I've tried upgrading software through digidesign .com, but they dont seem to have one for what i need. any way to get my old garage band back? go from 5.1 to earlier? Or maybe it was the upgrade to 10.5.8. update? Can i go back in time lol?

Lightroom will not import my photos. It did up to a week ago. I have changed cards and cameras (both worked two weeks ago). I can import the photos to Picasa and iPhoto. I get the following error message:
Some import operations were not performed.
The following files were not imported because they could not be read [followed by a list of the files I wanted to import]
Thumbnails show up. LR just will not import them.
Any idea what is going wrong?If the Import button is not clickable, that means that Lightroom thinks you have no new photos to import (one possible reason is that they are duplicates)
So, you need to figure out why Lightroom thinks that. The way I would do this is to search your Library module for at least one of the photos, by file name. To do this, you would follow all 4 of these steps in sequence:
Click on All Photographs in the Catalog Panel on the left of the Library Module
Turn off all Filters (Ctrl-L or Cmd-L once or twice)
Expand all stacks: Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks
Search for one or more of the photos using the Filter Bar (press backslash), search by File Name -

It's gone.
The downside of the 'find my' app is that your device needs to be online, and it is an app that can be defeated within minutes by any thief that knows what they're doing.
Hopefully you've already protected your data, changed passwords etc.
Chances are your iPad has been wiped and sold and it's gone.
You can or should have reported the theft to the police. You might get lucky.
