Chassi, hmmm a reg ATX chassi. and tried with an antec sonata.
Using a regular Soundblaster live atm tried without soundcard to.

do MSI know about these faults or do i have to live with them? buy an expencive comuter and only be able to use excel and words?.
i´ve tried memtest for a couple of hours without any errors, raised my memory from 166-200 in bios lowered them again (dunno why, they are 400mhz!)

If a problem only effects a couple of games then the chaces are it's the fault of those games. In which case got to forums for the users of those games and see if their are any solutions, and to see which other poor souls using other makes of motherboard are equally affected.
Half Life2 has been plagued with problems (for some users), but users have been blaming Valve, not their hardware makers. Even if a game works on previous hardware, it dosn't follow that the hardware is to blame if it dosn't when you upgrade the hardware.
I'm afraid these type of problem will get worse. Games now take years to produce and the designers can't get in a time machine and test them using hardware which won't exist untill after the game is finalised.

Hello, I've upgraded my Ipad2 to iOS7. I'm facing two major problems. First, I can't connect to the internet(which seems like a common problem), no Wifi connectivity as well. Second, the Autocad WS app doesn't work. It keeps asking for a username/passcode combination. Please help me guys. I will be genuinely grateful.

Cause when I tried re-adding it says something that I should try without SSL, and I did what you said and it gives me this "The IMAP server pop.mail.yahoo.com is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the incoming mail server field". Ahh.. this is so annoying, Apple what are you doing to me?! Or is Yahoo doing this to me?!

Macbook Pro- shortly after upgrading to free software upgrade to Mavericks- 10.9.5-
has suddenly been freezing up, but went more directly to 'shutting down,' CRASHING on its own. Most of the time, if I'm even able to successfully get the laptop turned back on, it only stays up/on for a few moments before repeating the failure. The failure is often accompanied with the monitor going 'blank,' or most typically either 'blacking out,' or going blue/green or grey screen with lines or grids all over the monitor. All Desktop visibility, functions or applications in process disappears. This has caused repetetive 'forced shut downs,' which I never usually do, unless prompted to because I have no choice like this.... Or as I said, the computer itself will just shut down and turn off by itself.... Can anyone tell me what this issue is, and I'm pretty sure other Mac users have seen this exact thing I'm describing happening on their laptops, with their systems or on their monitors. Someone please explain or point me in the right direction... as naturally my laptop just went out of warranty as well.... And I don't know if this means the entire system is basically corrupted, dying/dead... and or if it is a monitor issue, a hardware issue, software issue or if there is anything that can be done to restore, repair it, etc.? Also another thing I have noticed ever since getting this laptop- (few years old now...) is that it runs VERY HOT... has in fact burned my lap /skin many times... and seems like the fan or internal operating systems/functions are also perhaps not functioning properly. Can this also be causing the problem? Or is it a corruption or virus of some kind? etc. Thank you.What you describe sounds like a hardware issue. Unfortunately, you'll need to get that checked out by Apple. If you have an Apple Store near you, make an appointment with the Genius Bar and take the machine in for evaluation.

I get this Error Message after I tried to install "typeDNA" latest Version 2.2.0:

If I press OK Button "Setup" says:

Nearly every time I buy a VPP app and download the spreadsheet there are multiple redemption codes that say that they are invalid! HOW can a code I am getting directly from apple be invalid!!!!!!!! Seems like your system has A LOT of flaws.
I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

I am based in South Africa, and it seems like we cannot purchase any music or movies from itunes. Apparently it is not supported by our itunes store, what ever that might mean. Unfortunately the staff in all of the i-shops in South Africa are pretty much unhelpfull, unlike the service i received while in the US. Any suggestions on how to by-pass this seemingly boycot of the South African users?
To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. Basically all you have access to would be anything offered in South Africa unless you move to a different country.
It's the media owners who get to tell Apple where and where they cannot sell their media. I'm sure Apple would be happy to take your money but if the media companies are not happy then they can say no to sales in SA.
Even if there were a way to bypass this we certainly couldn't tell you on this forum because it would violate the Terms of use of this web site and get the whole topic removed. -

it goes down 2 spaces. Sometimes I don't want those two spaces. I
want no space between the two sentences. How do you put one

Says Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Seems like it has something to do with MSVCR80.dll, but not sure what to do about it. Now I have no Itunes at all
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Have a macbook with the old fashioned trackpad. Sometimes when I am typing, it seems like someone clicks my trackpad. I have set my macbook up to where you have to press the trackpad button instead of just tap the track pad. Any ideas?
Sometimes during the "old-fashion" macbooks there is different feelings in the way you control it. Take it to the apple store and I am Pretty sure they can tell you what is going on and if it is "Time for a Upgrade".

This is crazy! I paid for this service to make it easier to create forms for a company that has had several acquisitions all over the globe. This was supposed to make it easy to create forms hosted on adobe so no matter what happens on all their servers, we would be safe using this forms service until we can integrate all acquisitions and build a permanent web site on a single server. Now I find out that even this is a major issue sending emails to team members, many I have never met so making them a collaborator or even setting up forwarded emails is not something I wanted to do. This service was advertised as simple and easily send notifications to many people. I am now frustrated and thinking this was a waste of money! Why is it like that?

Why does the new operating system not delete the moved files from their original locations - it seems like an enormous waste of space, time and effort to clean up every file once you've moved it - also, when transferring large amounts of files it becomes a very large problem remembering which files were transferred and which not.
You're going to need to be more specific, as I'm not quite sure I understand what you're talking about.
If you're referring to copying from an external hard drive or flash drive, and you want to actually move files rather than copy them, you can hold down the option key to force it to do a "move" rather than a "copy." This is not new behavior, though... the Mac OS has worked this way as long as I can recall (and I've been using it since 1984).
If you're having a problem with trying to move files from one place to another on a single drive causing them to be copied instead, that is likely because of some permissions issue preventing you from actually being able to move them. -
I have been using this for school work as much as possible and have come across a problem. With my lack of knowledge for apple it seems as though I can't navigate myself to a easy answer. The problem hits when I am printing pages off of a large document, and I don't want to print the entire document in color but I have no way "that I can find" for a black and white print option...
----- also a larger issue, when printing I need to select 1 page or even 20 pages... The time it takes to use a scroll wheel and the fact if you try and scroll fast sometimes you click off the screen then you have to start scrolling all over again... It seems like you would beagle to input from say page 1224 to 1236.... Instead I have a scroll a wheel? Just doesn't make sense...?

It made more sense after seeing in this thread that table of contents styles are more like presets or entities than styles. -
I've just bought an iPhone 5S in the UK, seems like a big mistake, but luckily by law we can return goods, which is exactly what is going to happen if I cant get this to work. This is my business phone, not having it functional can cost me money.
I have turned off sync to icloud from the phone for both my contacts and calendar, as told on itunes. However, iTunes still says they are synced from iCloud and wont sync to my PC, why and how do I fix it so that it doesnt go to iCloud for anything ?
The phone currently has no contacts or calendar information installed.
