Ok so I was erasing all my data from my ipod touch 4th generation and it was restarting and it just like stayed there like 'waiting'...it has been like that for 2 half hours! anyone please help?

- Try resetting the iPod.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore the iPod via iTunes
- If iTunes does not see the iPod try placing the iPod in recovery mode to see if it will make it visible so yu can restore the iPod. For recovery modes see:

I have an ipod touch 4th generation and have just recently downloaded the new update. I was wondering why the videos that I had added in my playlist won't show up. Is there anyway that I could get my videos to appear in my playlist? They are still in my ipod in the video section, but just won't appear in my playlist.
iOS6 problems aplenty ....not sure if the link I inserted is working or not, but the issue is a lot more prevalent - the issue being that what shows up & plays in iTunes after the iOS6 update is not what shows up (& plays) on the device itself. This may go beyond just the iPod Touch as well.
In my case I can see & play both audio & video files in my Playlist through iTunes, but can only see the Playlists on the iPod Touch with ALL of them being empty. Syncing numerous times no help. Contacting Apple Tech. Support no help - they suggested downloading my Purchases from the iTunes Store - waste of time, did not make a difference. It is clear Apple needs to release a fix to OS6.
Another problem I noticed on the device is that the Shuffle option is hidden on the built-in Songs Playlist, having to swipe the screen down to see it - dumb dumb dumb. -
please someone help meee i just upraded to the ios 5 and when i tap the camera shorcut it appears it is going to open but it doesnt open
- With iOS 5 amd 5.0.1 you double click the Hom button to get to the camera button on the lock screen
- With iOS 5.1 you touch the camera button and and slide your finger upwards to get to the camera app. -

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. I have not backed up my computer using Time Machine since before I updated to Mavericks. It has been "preparing backup" for a half hour at least and shows no indication of how long this may take. Is something wrong?
No. TM has to look through your entire drive contents and copy them all. This will take some time.
Once the first backup is made, then subsequent backup will be much quicker, depending on how much data has changed since the last one. -
I just got a new iPod touch 4th generation and I'm trying to connect to my router and my iPod says, 'Cannont find network.' I don't know what to do! No other networks come up on the list so I can't 'tag' along with thier wifi. Please help. I need advice.
What type network is yu router set up for? The 4G iPod can only connect and see 2.4 GHZ networl like B, G and the 2,4 GHz N. There is also a 5 GHz N but the iPod will not even seethat network.

What happens when you try? Error message?
To activate you have to enter the ID and password last used for Settings>iCloud. In most cases the Apple ID is used for Settings>iCloud but not always.

I am updating the software on my daughters IPOD touch 4th generation and it is going on 4 hours now. I know this is not normal. What can I do? It synced just fine, but has been stuck on "updating ipod software" for 3 hours now!
She has had it for about 6 months and this is the first time we have plugged it into the computer since then. I can not exit out of itunes either.If you still have the problem after retoring the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod then The iPod is likely defective and replacement is required. My grandson delted all data from his ipod touch {thinking he was deleting his songs.] Now all he gets when he turns it on is a gray screen with an apple logo. We do not have it backed up nor was it ever turned on to itunes. We purchased it used from a co worker and didnt get that far.. Our computers do not recognise it as any thing nor does itunes when we have it plugged into itunes. Any way to fix this? Apple support will remote into our computer to fix it. For $ 99.00. - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

so this christmas that just assed i got a new ipod touch 4th generation! recently it has fallen and cracked and at the top left corner pieces came off, but after 2 days ago i couldnt get wifi at my house! i do not have a router but i always could get it perfectly in my room from my neighbor! but recently its been agravating me because i cant do anything about it, and at school id et wifi everywhere but now i only et it in one class!
