Ok, so last week I updated itunes on my computer. I have windows vista. Up until that point I was able to connect to the itunes store most of the time, but after that update I have not been able to connect. I have ran the diagnostic test and it says that
Sorry this is the 1st time on here. The diagnostic test said that I did not have a safe connection. I have even went as far as to delete Itunes from my computer twice and reinstall, but still luck. I have read several suggestions on here, but still to no avail. Please help me!!

If your iTunes library is on an external hard drive, but iTunes is not recognizing the library, first make sure the right library is selected.
You can use these steps to make sure iTunes is opening the library on your external drive:
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you're using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu, choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you're using a Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of these screens:
Pick Choose Library and locate the library on your external hard drive.

If the right library is selected, but you do not see your songs, try re-creating the library using the instructions found here:

I'm not familiar with the PC end of things, but in a recent post I read about someone using notes.exe to access notes (I'm assuming they knew what they were talking about) - would your installation of icloud app(s) include a notes program? At least do this, log into icloud.com with a computer browser and look in mail. There should be a notes "folder" listed along with the others you may have defined. Are you notes there? If not, that's the problem. Be sure notes is turned on in Settings>icloud on your device. if they are there, then it looks like the PC end is the problem - but I can't provide help concerning that.

I just bought a new macbook pro 13-inch 6 days ago. I ran coconut battery test and it says age of the macbook is 22 weeks. It shows 4 battery load cycles and battery capacity is 96%. Is this all normal? Does anyone have same issues?

Coconut indicates an approximate battery capacity, and 96% is excellent. During testing and run-in, the MBP is charged and discharged, and a cycle count of 4 is appropriate. -
when the update finally ends, then appears a square saying that the update have a mistake please check it.
I've unlocked the Firewall, and did everything I can but it still not updating, what can a do? PLEASENever mind, got it to work. I stumbled around on Google for a while and somehow ended up reading things from the 'jailbroken' community. They had easy instructions to get out of Recovery mode. Thanks anyway though!
P.S. For anyone who experiences this, here is the fix: Hold Power and Home in unison for 6 seconds, then power on as normal. -
I have a older MBP running 10.6.8 and after the recent iOS update I have not been able to sync my devices. I was able to sync an ipod, but not iphone or ipad. iTunes recognizes my devices, but sync button stays grayed. I've changed my USB hub, reinstalled iTunes and run disc cleanup. No luck.
You said that your computer will sync other iPods? Are they iPod touches? Other iPod use different drivers the the touch And iPhone and iPad).
You can try:

Does it charge? Does the iPod work?
I would try on another computer.
Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

After the icloud update I have not been able to access any of the newly formatted icons including mail, is anyone else experiencing this. I report to apple through the tab but nothing changes. My iPhone mail is unaffected.
Happy to report that iTunes Match has returned to working like normal on iTunes 10.7 on my computer today. If any iTunes engineers read this thread, I really appreciate the fix.

After the lastest update on iTunes I have not been able to get into the program. I have uninstalled all components and reinstalled and now it is telling me I am missing .dll files. I am so frustrated. I probably lost my entire library except what I purchased

I have not been able to sync Entourage to iCloud ever since the iCloud update debacle of yesterday. iCare just claims it is an Entourage problem when it is clear that the update did something that is not allow it to authenticate to sync mail.
