Ok so when I open iTunes on my iPad 2, everything seems fine until I want to buy a song. I tap buy and enter my password, it loads for a little while then a message pops up: " cannot connect to ITunes store" HELP
I typed everything in the question spot so please help!! I beg
On the iPad - go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap on your old ID and sign out. Then sign in with your changed/new ID.

When I open iTunes store, I receive an error saying "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network setting are correct and your network connection is active, then try again."

Computer shuts down when I open itunes Store
Computer shuts down when I open itunes Store. I don't know why or how to fix it.. It used to work, now it doesn't. I haven't done anything differently. I tried to 'repair' it in the add/delete programs.
Some more info.................I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and Quicktime. No fix. I can access the store on my other desktop computer which I also updtated to the newest version, so I think it's some setting in my laptop. As I said, it works great until I click on "iTunes Store" then it shuts the whole program down.

All software has bugs. Try closing the Camera app via the phone's taskbar and do a soft-reset of your phone, and/or update to the iOS 8.2 which was released yesterday).

Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

Go into the Music app and access the iTunes Store through it. You should on have to do so one time.

You are right.
Before HiDpi displays became available three years ago, you could find advice about what was the good resolution for displays, depending on their size in in/cm and viewing distance.
- For relatively big displays (22" to 30") a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080 was considered optimal.
- For big laptops or small desktop, 1680 x 1050 or 1640 x 900 were good.
In Windows, you could set the size of fonts to full resolution or 25% or 50% bigger... if the software supports this feature, which was not the case with Photoshop, Elements... The size of the fonts was deternined and fixed in the software itself, with no way to scale the fonts. The solution needed Microsoft to provide developpers with new programming interfaces and the solution for developpers was to rewrite a substantial part of the code.
Anyway, to enable good viewing of characters on common 12 or 13" HiDpi displays, you need to use the fonts at 200%.
And that makes sense. To see the same characters on a 12" display the same as on a 24", they must be twice the size... good rule of thumbs. -

I am getting error 13010 when I open iTunes? Help!
My computer is up to date with software... I was using iTunes the other day in the iTunes Store and the application shut down on me and I restarted everything... Now everytime I try to open iTunes I get "Error 13010".

Apps Store opens ITunes Store - Help
New 8gig iTouch. Was working fine until it was synced with iTunes on my PC.
Now when I click the Apps Store, it starts to load then switches and loads the iTunes Store instead.
Any Ideas?You might want to check to see that your "iTouch" has the latest firmware update and that iTunes has also been updated. You didn't give much information so it's difficult to say where you should start. Are you syncing with two different computers? Did you specify that you wanted to sync with the second computer when you connected the iPod? It might be switching out of the App store to prevent moving apps to iPods that are not set to sync.
Provide more information about your hardware and how you have set it up and it will be easier to diagnose your problem. -

hello, maybe that's an issue with hardware acceleration - please try [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL|updating your graphics driver]], or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, start firefox into safemode by pressing the shift key while the application is launching & disable hardware acceleration in the firefox ''menu ≡ > options > advanced > general'' (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

Unfortunately you don't. Not all content types are available in all countries (due to licensing and in some cases a country's laws etc), and in the UAE there are only Apps, Podcasts, iTunes U and free books (a full list of what is available where is shown on this page) - so unfortunately you cannot purchase music, films, tv shows or paid for books from Apple. Are there other media purchase download sites in the UAE that you could use ?

Turning on Filevault irrecoverably hangs even with clean OS install
It's a 13" MacBook Air 5,2 from 2012 with 128GB storage. When I turn on Filevault, it runs for about an hour before the estimated time remaining goes from 1-2 hours to "estimating time remaining" and it beach balls. I've let it sit for up to 24 hours
