OK, the videoformat may be changed (PAL, NTSC) by plugin a specified cable to be connected the iPhone to the TV, but how can I force to have PAL-format instead of NTSC to be send to iMovie via the USB-cable? Al this transcoding afterwards takes a lot to much time. Is there a solution before sending the clips?

Well, thanks a lot. iMovie '11 is similar, but not identical and unfortunately I don't seem to find any "Frame Rate Pop-Up menu" when I generate a new Project. Do not find an "Aspect Ratio Pop-Up" either. Also the help does not speak of this options. I just have to choose a Theme and that's it. Also the "Settings" Menu for the Film does not help.
I also checked the general settings for iMovie:
So I would dare say, there is actually no possibility anymore, to set the output format. And also when I create the output file, there is nothing more than a short list of resolutions.
I do not understand why all options were taken away. I admit, I am a little disappointed.

If so, not good, you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Clicking on the button that looks like a double box will restore the window to its normal size, after which you will see the single box to maximize the window.

I am playing with a Cisco 1142 AP. I have same SSID configured on both dot0 and dot1 interfaces. I have a test laptop and it has a Linksys dual-band wireless adapter. However the card always try to associate on the 2.4GHz. It will only associate with the 5GHz radio when I shut down the dot 0 interface. The laptop is running Windows XP SP3 and I'm using the windows wireless Zero configuration to configure the wireless. The following is the AP's configuration:

Thanks for quick reply! My laptop is just next to the AP. There is nothing but air between the laptop and the AP.
I actually did speed tests on both 2.4 and 5 (with 2.4 disabled of course) and I got pretty much the same result: 46Mbps MAX. I don't know if it's the linksys n card is limiting the capacity of the AP. But for now I just want it to jump on 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz...

You won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

You need to get the cable to restore the ATV to factory settings, following the procedure here.

I create separate folders based on the year and then the actual date of when I take images. You can make those folders anywhere on any hard drive that is connected to your Mac whether internal or external. I also use the Photoshop Photo Downloader that is included with Photoshop/Bridge and it will create the date folder so all I do is create a Year folder.
Open Bridge or click on the Bridge icon in PS and in the File menu item in Bridge select "Get photos from Camera". It can be a camera connected to your Mac or a memory card from a camera. A window will open and you then select the camera or memory card. Set the location they will be downloaded to, just the folder and you can Browse to a folder that you created, then in the "Create Subfolders drop down select what date stamp you want to use or or custom name or not to create subfolders at all.
I've never cared for iPhoto one bit. I tried it but found it way to restrictive. It likes to have full control over how you interact with your images.
