Ok this is ridiculous

I recently got hit by the data usage but in iOS8, it ate all my data. So, tonite i updated to 8.1. I have been on wifi at home ever since the update, i reset all my stats to watch what it uses. My phone is USING DATA WHILE ON WIFI! how is that even possible? it has used 640K of data, used by exchange accounts and push notifications. Is this normal for a phone to be using up cellular data while it is on WIFI!??

Events are organised strictly on date and time, as read by iPhoto from the Exif data in the Photo. You cannot manually sort.
Create Albums. You can do much more organising with Albums, use Photos from different events, place them as you will. Best of all, Albums use no disk space at all. They simply reference the file on the Hard Disk. So a pic can be 1, 10 or 100 Albums with no wasted disk space whatever.

Logic 8 will probably run on your new machine but the installation program contains some older PPC code for pre Intel Macs. This was not a problem as all OSX versions contained the "Rosetta" PPC emulation, that is, up until Lion when all PPC emulation was dropped.
There are ways to do this however, try searching Google for: Installing Logic 8 under Lion or Mountain Lion.

I just used the "Quick Menu" in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro after wasting hours several days when the SSID and Network key/password were already activated and the Adobe software claimed no scanner was available. . These Adobe user manuals are next to useless. Now I'm still dealing with this problem: "Save As was unable to find tables in the document No file was created." (i.e., from the pdf file I created using NI). Well it's obvious there are tables in the pdf, but so far I haven't been able to get a result to determine the intrinsic accuracy of Adobe's pdf to Excel capability.

iTunes Plus is the name for the option in iTunes that allows customers to buy music at the iTunes Store that is free from digital rights management, or DRM.
Digital Rights Management, or DRM, is designed to prevent unauthorized sharing of files. This especially became a big concern for the music industry after the rise of Napster, Limewire, and Kazaa.
DRM, even the DRM used by Apple on iTunes Store content, prevented that. Apple's DRM allowed users to share files on only up to 5 computers.
According to TUAW, the new iTunes Plus songs have information embedded in them that identifies the user who bought and shared them by name.
This means that if you share your music and record companies want to track you down and sue for you copyright infringement, it's going to be easy.

This just happened here twice to. Was working in Photoshop CC on my Cintiq HD24 Touch when the cursor turned into a static beach ball. First time i ended up rebooting (really annoiying). Second time i opened Chrome to google this bug. Somewhere in the process of searching information my cursor changed back to an arrow???
Using Mavericks on a rMBP mid 2012, Photoshop CC and a Wacom Cintiq HD24 Touch. Did not experience this before working on the Cintiq.

I'm dissapointed, this is ridiculous!

I left samsung, I bought Lenovo p780 (2 for me and my whife), i promoted lenovo for my friends, and therefor 7! of them bought p780, 1 bought k900, also some friends bought laptops.
And now, on vacations, i broke screen on my p780, touch isn't working too. My fault, i went on lenovo web site and checked for service senters in my city (Russia, Novosibirsk, almost 2 mln ppl) There are 3 of them. None of theme work with lenovo smartphones. I called on Lenovo hotline, and a guy told me "bla-bla, maybe month or more later there will be a service for smartphones, bla-bla". I was like... "wow!". I told him "i need my phone working for any money, there is all business stuff inside". He suggested me to buy screen block on aliexpress (up to 60 days) and go to some service in satellite city (50km) and they will set it up!
Hey, Lenovo, this is ridiculous! I'm praying for none of my friends needed service for next couple of months, or they will ask me "why you recommended us such a company without service for 2mln buyers???!!!"
Lenovo makes such efforts to promote on our market, but just spoiling reputation of awesome devices for ever with such service.

As far as the prices, the difference is likely the laptop version is the SD version and the iPad one is available in HD. That's the only reason you'll see a price difference. It has nothing to do with the device with movies/movie rentals. Apps yes, these no.

oh whoops i forgot to tell you, i didn't actually find apple's number, although i think they have one.........what i did was i went onto the express lane and when through a series of steps and typed in my phone number and it was SUPER fast. It scared me that as soon as i pressed enter, not more than 30 seconds later, my phone started ringing. But that's the one you have to pay for.....

This is ridiculous, Apple T.V. will take approximately 3 hours to download a movie! Then I cannot even get in contact with a customer service individual to cancel the order! If I wanted to talk to a computer automated service I would call the government. Just ranting and raving since it appears this is all I can do on the Apple Stores site. Hey Apple, how about getting real people to answer the phone. For crappy computer service I would have bought a Dell at one third the price.
