Ok... this should be a no brainer but I can't figure it out
How do I set a different SMS notification tone? The 8220 isn't defaulted to Lightspeed which is what I'm used to, but when I try to set that for texts it only gives me the option to set it as a ringtone.
Profiles > scroll down to Advanced > Scroll to your Active profile > Menu key > Edit.
Scroll to your SMS Text > Menu > Edit the ringtone both IN and OUT of holster.

OK. This is probably a stupid quesion, but I can't figure it out -
How does one change computers and using iTunes copy my ipod play lists and songs to the new computer? I have copied the ones I have purchased, but when I try to sync it it says that it will erase teh ipod and add the new library and that would just be the ones I have purchased. Help! Thanks so much!

This is supposed to be ASCII, but I can't figure it out
Can anyone tell me the format of the received data? The response is supposed to be: carriage return, line feed, "CNT 01168", carriage return, line feed. There is a pattern, as the numerical digits always show up in the same spots in the hex version.
This is from a Durant President series counter using a current loop to 232 converter. According to the manaul, everything is supposed to be ASCII, but it isn't.

If you do a bit by bit compare of the recieved and expected data, you will find that the diffence is always the MSB.
The diffence only occurs when the number of bits in the character is odd.

How do I sync one photo from my iPhone 3G to computer. My only option is to sync all new photos. Do I need iPhoto?
Yes, you do need iPhoto, or at least for the following: Plug it into the computer with the USB plug you get with it, and iTunes will automatically open. It doesn't matter if you keep it open or not, because you'll import them to iPhoto. When you open iPhoto, it will automatically go to your iPhone's inventory of photos. Choose a photo that you wish to import (or click import all), type in the titile, and click import. A pop-up message will come up that asks if yu want to keep originals. Click yes, and viola. Your photos are on your computer! Hope this helps.

I purchased photoshop extended ver.12 a few yeas ago. Now, I got a new computer and I want to install the photoshop on that. I read some discussion and it said I need to download it from my purchase history or something, but I don't see anything there. Is there any other way to do this?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

i really need help in this one because it's been like two or three months since i last imported my songs. i think the first cause to this problem was because i imported my song but i think my phone at that time didn't have enough storage or enough space for any other file. so some of the songs were imported completely, but the others weren't. so i thought it was normal bc ive been through this once, but then the next time i tried again, it still didn't worked so i deleted the none-completed imported songs and tried over three times but it didn't work, yet again. so i left it like that for about a few weeks and i tried again but it didn't worked as well. i started to browse some solution to this and i've tried to delete the songs that weren't completed and transfer the songs (which didn't work), and a few others but then i think i miss clicked a button that automatically imports all the songs in my laptop that wasn't on my phone and suddenly a few of my songs from my iphone was labeled not completely imported. i tried syncing but it got stuck on the third step which was "configuring purchased songs" and i tried updating to the new version recently but it hadn't worked too, and i wanted to try to rebuild my itunes but i didnt have the guts to do it. my total play counts has gone mad because the songs that i listen to the most, the 'plays' went from 30 to 20000+, it was just random numbers. i couldn't sync my iphone and so my photos went from 1000 to 2000, my songs were supposed to be 1200+ but its stuck on 700, my videos were supposed to be 6 but it went up to 10.

the text of my incoming emails is not showing when I tap the message. I probably changed some setting by mistake but I don't know what i did. would like to be able to read my emails on the screen. the 2 line starting area shows fine.
browsing around internet found others have had this problem and recommended turn off/turn on phone, which I did, and that fixed it. at least for now. thanks...

I even tried opening in Motion and inserting it there, but when I bring it back to fc it's not there. I also want to change the background to an image or at least solid white. When I put an image in the Dropzone it doesn't show up. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
To change the title background to use a clip in the drop zone, do just as Jim said.
Also, place the clip that want to appear in the "swing arm" right below the title in the timeline. -
I am trying to install Creative Cloud on my laptop. I already installed Photoshop CC on my desktop just fine. I paid for photoshop and lightroom for two computers. Isn't that right?

When the user press the button Calculate Tax and click on Tax details then this should be updated automatically. But it does not work it is empty and the user has to update manually.
All setup looks fine.
Please let me know what can be done on this?

The iPad cover lock is for when you use a cover with magnets in it to lock and unlock the iPad when you close the cover or open it. Try running a refrigerator magnet along the sides of the iPad and see if that trips the iPad Cover Lock back into the settings.
That is not the same thing as the iPad Auto Lock setting which allows you to set an allotted time before the iPad goes to sleep.
You can try resetting all settings to see if the Auto Lock feature retinrs to the iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. This can be a little time consuming re-entering all of the device settings again. -
I am trying to pair my cell phone and tablet using Messages App, but only MMS messages will come through on my tablet. I've tried pairing and unpaired, reinstalling app on my tablet, and can't figure it out. Any idea how to fix this?

Is there a way to remove my facebook contacts from my phone contacts list? I had an iphone 4 and it was easy to shut off from teh contacts through the groups link at the top left, but the iphone 5s does not have this feature nor can i figure it out through the settings feature or anything else....HELP please as it is annoying to see all of these contacts!
Hello ymprice91277, let's solve this mystery! To unlink the Facebook contacts go to Settings, Facebook, turn off contacts.
