Okay, I just bought my husband an iPhone for Fathers Day...
I need to know if we can share my Apple Acct (I have my iPhone & iTouch set up on the acct). I would like to be able to share apps, music, photos, etc but do not want to deal with the contact, calanders, alarms, etc getting mixed up and shared. Any tips and advise would be greatly appreciated please!!
If it is determined that I need to set up an new acct for him, then is there still a way to share the above mentioned things easily?
You can share iTunes content, no problems. But, for iCloud, FaceTime, iMessage...he needs his own separate Apple ID. You can create one here:

Hi, just bought my daughter an Iphone 4s and I can't get it to let her on youtube, Facebook etc., keeps saying no internet connection. I just bought the new MacBook Air a few days ago and my Internet connection is so slow. My iPhone's connection works fine when connected to the wifi but the MacBook connects for a few seconds then drops completely. What do I do? I tried connecting it to my phone's hotspot and it works perfectly. I'm a new Mac user so I have no idea what to do. I have Comcast xfinity cable and Internet. Thanks for the help.

I just bought a brand new iPhone 5s and a huge problem is that when i try to sync my music to my iPhone 5s, under the music tab it says that i can only access my music via iCloud. is there anyway to sync your music from your computer?????
The ! sign before the song means that the actual song is no longer on your computer and/or iTunes library.

She has a micro sim in her iphone 4. can i activate my phone with her card then change to my card (different carrier) when i get back to our home country (from caribbean)? also ofcause not affecting her phone or sim.

Then you can use the old part of the large sim as a holder/adapter of the newly made micro sim
as a full size sim.

I just bought a second hand iPhone 5, but the sim tray seems to be for a sim sized ~14x8mm, thinner but longer than a nano SIM (~12x9mm). Can anyone explain why, and how to get a SIM to fit?

I have an Apple Power Mac G5 Dual 2.3 GHz/6GB RAM/500GB HDD/Superdrive PowerPC Desktop and just bought an Airport Extreme card for it. The card is recognized but will not see the in-house network. This is a pre-intel computer. Do I need an additional antennae? If so, which one because my research is confusing me about what is supposed to work with this computer.

I just bought the new HDMI cord for the IPad, it works good but a small potion of the TOP and the BOTTOM is cut off. It doesn't seem to do it for movies(although I can't really tell. My monitor is a 23 IN' acer s series. I just installed the drivers for my monitor with no change. I think I have a CD somewhere for my monitor maybe it has some kind of program in there that can help me. I can post a picture if I need to. Thanks

I am a keen photographer and I have just bought you SD card reader for ipad. This works well but was winding if there is an app that I can view the images on the SD card full screen without having to import them to the iPad or is there a way to do this on the iPad
The reason for buy this was for when I was out and about to get a better view off my images.

There is another option if you still know your ID's password. Call Apple directly and ask for the Account Security department. They will need to verify that you are the account holder, but they should be able to force a reset for your security questions if they do so.
For security questions they are required to get a support pin for the account from you. You can get one by going to appleid.apple.com (no www in front) and signing in using the Manage Apple ID button. The support pin is in the bottom-left corner of the password and security section, but don't generate it until they ask you to.
You will still need to verify one other piece of information with you once this is done. At this time, there is no other way to reset the security questions without having added a rescue email before losing them. An Apple Retail Store would actually need to call in for you too, so don't worry about not having one.

Just bought a 3TB Time Capsule for a small office. Will have 4 users with MacBooks. What would ne the best setup for time machine individual backups and internet sharing in a secure way?
Set up each Mac for Time Machine backups in the normal way. Time Machine will keep each backup separate on the Time Capsule, so users will only be able to see the backups of their own Mac.
Yes....there are convoluted workarounds that might allow one user to see the backups of another.....IF...they know the administrator password of the "other" Mac.
As far as Internet sharing, all users will have access to the Internet if they have a wired or wireless connection. If a Mac connects using wireless, it is possible to limit the time that they are allowed to connect to the network.
For example, you might limit the ability to connect to the wireless from say each Weekday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
With a wired Ethernet connection, you cannot limit access times to the Internet.

External Hard Drive Crashed - Lost my songs
