You can change the title of the podcast in wherever you originally entered it in whatever system you are using to make it. Similarly wherever you originally entered the URL of your image you can change that - make sure the new image filename is different.
However, if your feed URL contains the title of the podcast and this changes when you change the title, you will lose contact with the iTunes Store if you change it.
If you make these changes all you have to do is re-publish the feed. It will take the Store a couple of days to catch up with the title and a week or two to catch up with the image.
When you add an episodes all you need to do is add it to the feed and re-publish. Subscribers will see it almost immediately but it will take the Store 1-2 days to catch up.
At no point do you need to re-submit the feed.

Only if it is an iPod touch that you can turn on iTunes Match.

Did you make a backup of all the important files on this computer before it broke down?

How to reset your Apple ID password.
Go to iforgot.apple.com and type in your Apple ID, then click 'Next'.
Verify your date of birth, then click 'Next'.

iTunes Match will do that for you, turn it on in the Store menu (in iTunes). It's $25 per year.

You can transfer items on your iPhone to iPhoto, iTunes, etc. the software merely transfer the data, it does not store it. Very handy software to have around.

I have had an iTunes account for a while, but never really taken the time to learn to use it. Now I have two computers, with two different versions of iTunes, with content on one that I want to transfer to the other. Or I'd like to directly access the older libarary from the new computer.

Plus I have some videos and audio CD's that I have never imported, and would like to bring them into iTunes and store on an external hard drive to keep from loading up my computer. I don't have the time or patience to play around and do it by trail and error. Thanks.
If you place a CD into the CD drive, iTunes will ask you if you want to import it.
If you want iTunes to store content on an external drive, you need to tell it to do so, which you do at iTunes preferences > Advanced.

simply go to the iTunes homepage, scroll right down to the bottom and on the right side of the page you should see different columns of options. Click the 'Change Country' option and follow the instructions from there on.

I have an iphone 4, using IOS 5.0.1 and have always synced it to my laptop (windows vista, 32 bit). I have recently bought a new desktop computer (Windows 7, 64 bit) and after putting it off for a while, i've decided to bite the bullet and sync my iphone with my new computer. I have already authorised my itunes account on my new computer, and i don't mind loosing music. I am more concered though about the risk of loosing my text messages and photos on my phone.
Could anyone please tell me if i will loose the messages and photos from my phone when syncing to a new computer.

When you connect the iPhone to sync with the new computer, a number of things will happen. If the new computer/iTunes does not contain any music, then yes, you will receive a prompt saying this iPhone is synced to another library, and if you continue, you will lose your music. However, you risk losing a number of other things, such as apps, contacts and calendar data. When you ask about photos, any photos that you have on the iPhone that were synced from the previous computer would also be lost. You need to save the photo folder from the old laptop and transfer that to the new desktop. You also need to sync the contacts and calendar to the same supported application that you were using in the past, such as Outlook, unless you are using an outside web-based sync, such as Google. Also, when you first connect the iPhone, it will make a backup, or at least make sure that it does before you attempt to sync, or you will not have a backup of some of the other things, such as mail settings, SMS, and the contents of the Camera Roll. I would import the photos from the camera roll to the new computer before trying to do anything else in iTunes.

If you have a backup, restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the computer. This restores the library and device association files. If for some reason you chose to only back up the media and not the entire iTunes folder, then the only option is to let iTunes wipe the drive and re-sync.

.itl file is locked error after installing new build - iTunes won't open

After upgrading to the new build itunes won't open. I receive an error message "The iTunes Library .itl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file." When I check permissions I have full control. I tried uninstalling all apple components - iTunes, Quicktime, apple updater - rebooting and then reinstalling but the same error message comes up when I try to start itunes.

Even after uninstalling the .itl file remained in my itunes music folder. I deleted this file after uninstalling again and then reinstalled and the issue was resolved.

Not Stupid! I should have been more specific. I'm still new to iphones. I changed my itunes password and ID at the itunes store my computer. I'm not having problems with my email. I'm having problems downloading and updating apps (probably music as well). After it asks for the password, a message comes up saying my itunes store password is incorrect. It works on line though. The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
