Okay, so I'm trying to download an album from the store on the iPod. It's telling me "Item is currently being modified. Please try again later." Its really starting to make me mad; Is there anyway to get rid of that message?

PS. The reason I'm downloading directly from the iPod is because the laptop that had my iPod synched to it crashed and the recovery disk didn't fix it. I don't wanna lose all my songs. :/
If it says it is temporarily being modified than you should wait until tomorrow or later tonight. If it keeps happening, try downloading something else. If it has the same message, it is probably a problem with iTunes on your iPod. If it downloads regularly, there must just be a problem with the album.

When I try to access itunes, I get this error: We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the itunes store at this time. Please try again later. Is this a common error? Is there a fix?
Sorry, I don't have any suggestions at this time. You can try running the Network Diagnostics in iTunes:

and post the results here. That may provide some clues that someone can use to diagnose the problem and offer suggestions.

I`ve restarted my macbook, checked the wifi (webpages still load), and downloaded the extensions from the developer`s websites. When I download the extensions this way they supposedly install but yet I've yet to see them actually work. (Ultimate Status Bar doesn't appear in links, News Ticker doesn't show news, etc.) I know I probably installed too many, too fast. I uninstalled all my previous extensions and the problem still persists.
I've tried installing the same extensions on my iMac and they work perfectly. What can I do??

AdrianCan you install from the Safari Extensions Gallery instead > https://extensions.apple.com/
Downloading extensions from the internet instead of the Safari gallery may not be a safe thing to do anyway. I downloaded the file from here > http://ultimatestatusbar.com/ then a dialog asked if I wanted to download from the internet. I for one never download extensions except from the gallery.
I found it in the gallery > https://extensions.apple.com/
Try downloading from there instead. That will download the file to your Downloads folder. Double click the file to install.

Can you please fix this problem, it's been active for over a month, I haven't been receiving text about my data usage and it's ridiculous because I just now found out I went over with absolutely NO warning and now I can't even log in to see if I had "send text messages about data" enabled.
Two simple solutions.
First I don't know what browser you are using so in what ever browser you use, go into internet options and clear the cache and cookies from the browser. Turn off the computer and then turn it back on and you should be able to use the site.
Second change the browser to a different one and try http://www.verizonwireless.com and you should have access once again. a nice browser I like is Firefox http://www.mozilla.org or http://www.firefox.com if you have that one download Google Chrome http://www.google.com then click the download Chrome button.
I suspect my first suggestion will fix your situation.

I upgraded my verizon 4g phone to ios 5 on Thursday. Everything seemed to transfer ok however of my three yahoo accounts, the primary one's password didn't transfer. I went to settings, mail, selected the email address and input the password however it won't take it and gives me the following error "Server Unavailable Please try again later". I have attempted to try again, no good. I have attempted to restore the phone, even worse, then none of the three email accounts (all yahoo) will take the password. As it is the other two accounts currently work on the phone as the phone is after upgrading. Please help!
Yes, someone posted a bypass and it works! Go to settings > mail, contacts, calendars > Add Account > select "OTHER" > add mail account > follow prompts > (IMAP) for incoming mail server host name input imap.mail.yahoo.com, user name and password > for outgoing mail server input smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
I contacted Apple. They are aware of the problem. Apparently the ios5 is having issues with yahoo mail. It has nothing to do with waiting etc... I updated my software on Thursday and have continually been attempting to go through yahoo but it won't work. The Apple technician I spoke to assured me they were working on it and to check with updates regularly to see if they have resolved the problem. Hope this is helpful. -

I was logged in to Live, but somehow it is getting lost. I have tried both Chrome and IE. Is there something wrong at MS or with my account? Also, it took me 15 minutes to find anywhere to submit a problem or question...very frustrating.
It kept sending me to self help where none of the options were relevant.

Installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo may help this.
Restart your Mac after installing the combo then try downloading Lion.
It's ok to install the combo even though you are already running v10.6.8
BEFORE you do this make sure your Mac meets Lion's requirements:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OSX v10.6.6 or later (V10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available spare

is there anyway to get rid of the old iPhoto Library? It defeats the purpose of having a new software if I have to keep the remnants of the older one.

The master files are stored on your drive, but they are not actually stored "in" any folder. Folders are really just special files that store various bits of information about the files associated with that folder, including links to where they actually are stored. That's why you can "move" a file from one folder to another very quickly: all that you really are doing is moving the link & other info from one folder to the other folder, while the file itself stays where it was.
Because of this, it is possible for more than one folder to link to the same file -- in the Finder it looks just like there are two copies of the file, one in each folder, but there really is just the one copy. From the description in the Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries doc, it looks like that's what happens when you import your iPhoto library into Photos -- both the old iPhoto Library "file" (which actually is a set of folders & subfolders of files) & the Photos Library (also consisting of folders & files) contain links to the master files, but like the Apple doc says, there really is just one set of master files being stored.
This is very similar to the way Time Machine backups look like they have multiple copies of the same unique file, one in each time-stamped backup folder, but there really is only one copy on the Time Machine drive. My guess is Apple is using hard links for this, which means the actual master files will not be deleted from the file system as long as at least one link remains to each of them.
So you should be safe in deleting the old iPhotos Library once you are absolutely sure you don't need it, but to be sure, if it was me I would make a backup just in case, or better yet just leave it alone. -

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.

After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing. -
