Your users agent is stuck at Firefox 3.0.11 due to a extension during when you had 3.0.11 and it tacked on stuff on end and kept it from updating the version number. This was due to the "Fast Browser Search toolbar" extension (FBSMTWB). This issue is not a problem with Firefox 4.0 and newer.

Norton and Comcast tool bars were disabled when I updated to Firefox v4. When will this be fixed?
After installing Firefox v4 my Comcast and Norton tool bars were disabled, Firefox could not find an update and deemed them not compatible with v4. Do you have any information on getting this corrected. Right now I have no protection from Norton when using the internet via Firefox.
Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
You will need to contact Comcast about their plans to make their toolbar compatible with Firefox 4.
If you want to downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

HT4623 i started the ios6.0.1 update on my iphone 4 when my battery died.
i had a notification saying about the new IOS6.0.1 update so one day i decided to do so. about half way through the update my phone ran out of battery. From that point onwards it wont turn on. It freezes at the opening screen (apple symbol) and wont proceed. I have held the top and bottom button and it just does the same. If anyone can help me i would be greatful. Also i cant access it through the computer as it wont turn on enough to be recognised. Cheers peeps.

Why would anyone attempt an OS upgrade on a device without ensuring that was either sufficient battery life or that it was plugged into external power?

What is up with the preloaded Calendar on my I pad? I can't see the month of March! Am told that there is a fault, but when will it be fixed?
I have to assume that Apple is aware of it and its working on it. Hopefully, it will be fixed in a new update. But nobody here knows when that will be.
A workaround is to remove any all day events from April 1st or change them to a few hours - but remove all day events. -

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

i'm using an older version of iPhoto on my desktop Mac and I can't seem to control the number of photos appearing on my iPhone and iPad, will upgrading to the newer iPhoto resolve this?

In order to download / install Captivate 8 32 bit, you have to download 2 files ( .7z and .exe ) at same location/ folder.
Once both files downloaded completely then you have to run .exe file and it will extract .7z file first and then it will initialize the installer. You do not have to open .7z file.

I am unable to open certain pages on sites. I have to switch over to IE because the new Firefox update is not accomodated on their websites! When will this be fixed... sites included Ameritrade, FAFSA, and others...First and foremost, you should update to 3.6.17 because the version you're running at the moment is insecure and exposes your system to attack. Update via '''Help '''| '''Check For Updates'''.
That may even fix the problem since several minor bugs were also fixed in later versions.
Similarly, after updating, go to the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page and update those which are necessary.
If the problem persists, try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
I didn't experience a problem myself accessing any of those sites you mentioned. See screenshot. -
Why isn't Photoshop fully optimized for the Mac Pro (Late 2013), and when will this happen?
On the new Mac Pro (late 2013):
Currently, Photoshop CC 2014 seems to lag behind iMacs and Macbook Pros (even older ones) for some tasks.
I assume that this issue is related to either multi-core processing but seems more likely to be a problem with the ATI GPUs not being optimized as the Nvidia GPUs are.
Why is this the case, and when will this be addressed?
Any feedback from Adobe official would be appreciated.

If you have WiFi or cellular data turned on this can improve the accuracy of GPS, because the GPS receiver can then use the known location of cell towers and WiFi networks to refine the GPS location. GPS by itself has an accuracy of 10 meters, or about 34 feet. Using the additional information from WiFi and cellular data this can be brought down to 3 meters (10 feet). This mode is called Augmented GPS, or A-GPS. -
