OKG3 - Create a new valuation method

Hi All!
Im trying to create a new valuation method by OKG3 without "Result analysis method" and "Cancel
Inventory/Reserves with Status" fields filled out. I need these fields in blank but these fields are mandatory.
Even I change to expert mode its necessary fill out these fields.
Any idea to resolve this issue? Is it necessary to do any previous configuration?

How do I create a new payment method in PeopleSoft 9.1 for Vendor payments via external bank program?

We have contracted with a major banking institution to utilize their credit card program to transact vendor payments. Basically, we generate a formatted file from our Pay Cycle. The file is sent to the bank, who in turn notifies the participating vendors that their payments are available. The vendors access their accounts and draw down our payment via their merchant credit card terminals/system. We need to create a Payment Method 'CCD'; to be used by the PeopleSoft to update the vendor payables options, and indicate vouchers paid by this method. PeopleSoft only delivers a few of the payment methods, but not one for credit card programs. Can anyone provide some direction on this and on how to create a new payment method? Does PeopleSoft 9.2 have this payment method available?

Thanks for the suggestion...I did read up on the count function, but I don't think it will give me what I want. I need a a counter that increments for each payment made to a supplier, not a total of the number of payments made to that supplier.
Any other suggestions, please?

In creating versions for valuation method ,I am getting error"View cluster is already open. Go Back with F3
Message no. SV851" and "inconsistency between CoCo."

I got the same error when configuring valuation method under controlling module.

I would lke to create a new Changeover Method Rule in IMG.
I understand that there are 3 Changeover Methods as follows in standard SAP which allows

In general it is a bad idea to mix your primary and backup data -- what happens if the backup disk goes bad? How can you recover the primary data that was on there?
Why can't you provision more space from your SAN for the additional data files? If you put the new datafiles anywhere you are going to be doing heavy read/write activity (eg. backups, exports) then you might see IO contention, but that is completely dependent on your infrastructure and DB load. I would say the best bet is to TEMPORARILY put the datafiles in the oracle home, with the near-term intention of moving them back into the disk with the rest of the datafiles, or perhaps onto a new disk for new datafiles.

To create new valuation class goto the following path.
SPRO --> Materials Management --> Valuation and Account Assignment --> Account Determination --> Account Determination without Wizard --> Define Valuation Class ---> Valuation class ---> Copy from similar valuation class & enter new valuation class number & description. Also assign the account catgory reference for this valuation class. Account cat. reference which has to be connected to your required material type.

Only the first record is updated. The others generated this error: Invalid Account Down Payment.

It tells me to update payment details when I try to update apps but it only has visa, mastercard, amex and maesto. I dont have any of them. Creating a new project in 24p: 24p conversion method

Good morning,
I have created a new project from scratch in 24p. I ensured that my settings were for appropriate to my configuration, i.e. DLSR 24p and more.
Everything displays that I am now working, per the below in 24p 1920 x 1080 on my info screen. Cool.
However, when I set up my new sequence defaults I get this slightly confusing checkbox option displayed below for my playback settings:
Is it true that the "24p conversion method" referred to in my playback settings within the sequence defaults refers to how any interlaced video I have will be converted into the 24p format?

No, it dictates how 24p material will be displayed on a standard 29.97 playback device, such as a television or monitor that is displaying your Program Monitor output via a 1394 (aka FireWire) device. It's only for external monitoring; it has no effect on internal (that is, in the Program Monitor) playback.
The bottom line is that, unless you're using a connected DV device and monitor, you can ignore this setting.

Creating a new method in an enhanced component class implemetation

Hello Experts,
I am trying to create a new method in the enhanced component(BT115IT_SLSO) implementation class ( ZL_BT115IT__ITEMS_IMPL)to run our custom functionality. But somehow when I put a breakpoint and debug while I add a product to the sales order the method doesnt get trigerred.
Is there some thing which I have to do get this trigerred ? I just added a ned method and placed some custom code in it. Do I have to invoke it anywhere ?
Pls help me out. I am new to Web UI.

Hi Mavrick,
As you are performing some action like item addition , there you need a method called as " event handler " to handle the event and perform the required actions.
Place a break point in DO_HANDLE_EVENT method , and you will know the exact event handler method which is getting triggered . or if you are defining a new event ( by adding any new button) you should create a event handler method using wizard giving the same name which is defined on_click field of the button as it is case sensitive.

Urgent. [Items - Valuation Method] error when creating documents

I have recently upgraded one of my customers databases to the newest 2005 sp: 01 pl: 45 version
Before that, they were running 2005, but with no service pack.
However, after the upgrade they cannot any longer create salesorders, invoices etc!
They allways get 'Items - Valuation Method' when pressing the add-method.
Every item is checked as Stock Item, but not purchased Item. I cannot change any of this, it seems.
But they do NOT use any logistics, they only use SBO as an invoicing system. And they will not use it for logistics in the future either. 'Response to Release of Stock below the Minimum level' is set to 'Without warning'.
How can I quickly make salesorders/invoices work again? Does anyone know what might have happened during the upgrade?

Hi Runar,
I realize that this is a very late response, if you have not already logged a message with SAP support you should do that.
When releasing 2005 SP01 a lot of the logic of the Inventory transactions where corrected to avoid inconsistencies. Among these changes were certain settings on Items that could no longer be changed.

first, you cannot create instances of methods. but you can create instances of classes (==objects).
the algorithm for primes does not work yet (its your work) but i inserted the code to create your object.

Polygon is the return type of the method polygonForm

Because, As the return type is Polygon, the method should return an object of Polygon or null. For that purpose only the method needs to create a new Polygon object and initialize with some values.

If you want to use the email address that you used on the first account then you will need to remove it from that first account before you can do so e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's or via http://appleid.apple.com - you can create a new email address via http://gmail.com or http://hotmail.com to replace it with.

Goto SPRO->IMG->Materials Management>Valuation and Account Assignment>Account Determination->Account Determination Without Wizard->Define Valuation Classes
Valuation class means:
Assignment of a material to a group of G/L accounts
With other factors, the valuation class determines the G/L accounts that are updated as a result of a valuation-relevant transaction or event such as a goods movement.
The valuation class makes it possible to:
Post the stock values of materials of the same material type to different G/L accounts
Post the stock values of materials of different material types to the same G/L account
Account category reference is assigned to val.class and val.class is assigned to material type and g/l is assigned to v.class
