OLAP over HTTP resulting in 503 status code and connection time out

Hi,
I set up my OLAP over HTTP with msmdpump.dll and set up the .ini file accordingly. The connections are fine,
however on my site when i make a lot of request to the OLAP, I get a 503 HTTP status code andconnection time
out in th event log.
I have change the #of threads on the .ini file for
msmdpump.dll. Also changed the initialconnectiontimeout in sql ini file from 10 to 15.
In my OLAP instance in sql studio, under datasources I made adjustments from forums but that did not affect.
in all instances i restarted the machine.
NOt sure where to look further and how i can diagnose what the issue is. Looking for any assistance to help me
resolve my issue.

we also had some problems after we made some Stresstests on the AS with many connections.
First we raised the Queue Length and the worker processes in the Application Pool.
Worked, but the recommendation was to do this at the last step.
So we changed the following entries in the ini of the Datapump:
<MinThreadPoolSize>60</MinThreadPoolSize>
<MaxThreadPoolSize>200</MaxThreadPoolSize>
<MaxThreadsPerClient>20</MaxThreadsPerClient>

Management point and Application Catalog Website Point are installed on the same Server where I am seeing the error for Application Catalog Web Service Point role. Management Point and Application Catalog Website Point are functioning properly. Application
Catalog Website is working.

Application Catalog Web Service Point and Application Catalog Website Point; both are installed as per below configuration on same Server:
IIS Website: Default Web Site
Port Number: 80
with default value for Web Application Name configured.
For SMS_AWEBSVC_CONTROL_MANAGER component, I am getting below error in Component Status:
Application Web Service Control Manager detected AWEBSVC is not responding to HTTP requests. The http status code and text is 400, Bad Request.
Possible cause: Internet Information Services (IIS) isn't configured to listen on the ports over which AWEBSVC is configured to communicate.
Solution: Verify that the designated Web Site is configured to use the same ports which AWEBSVC is configured to use.
Possible cause: The designated Web Site is disabled in IIS.
Solution: Verify that the designated Web Site is enabled, and functioning properly.

And awebsctl.log has the below error lines:

Connection time out error in HTTP

Hey guys
i m getting connection time out error in a HTTP scenario,when i go in SXMB_ADM i dont find any entry with the name HTTP_TIMEOUT.
even in RZ10 i cant find the correct profile parameter.
i m taking help from michaels blog

i m on PI7.0 SP09
is there some other place i can find this entry? or do i need to ask the basis guys to add it?

How often did you post this now? 4 times? Till now nobody helped you out which is pretty understandable to me. But nobody ever will if you don't start learning the technologies you want to use. You should just give it a chance and get an approach to solve your task. Start with some easy tutorials and extend them step by step to get closer to your problem. By the way, at least 80% of the code you posted is irrelevant to the solution you are looking for. If you have a special, single problem you are always welcome but I am not (and I think nobody else is) going to spend some hours to find out what exactly you need to achieve and I also won't code it for you.

HTTP and HTTPS connections time out--only one computer on the LAN has this problem. Also affects Internet Explorer

For the last few days HTTP and HTTPS connections on one computer on my LAN usually time out or fail to load completely. This also affects Internet Explorer on the same machine, but email, FTP, etc. seem to be working normally. The URLs that do not load in the browsers ping normally, and load normally on another machine on the same LAN. Running Firefox in Safe Mode does not help.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

What web browser are you using?
What type of connection do you have to your isp? phone line, dsl, cable, fios...

Http connection time out

in my application i send a request to a server and then wait for the response and once i get the response i process it. in a case where any exception occurs at the server side and i don't receive a response back, my application hangs at the
httpConnection.openInputStream();
i want to give a time out for the connection ie, if the application does not recieve any response within the specified time i want to close the connection. What can i do for that?
please help.

In the Connector's construction method there's a boolean value you can specify that you want the connection to have a timeout value for that connection. As far as I know, the actual timeout value is device dependent.

Error in file-file scenario: HTTP response contains status code 503

I've encountered the foll error in file-file scenario:
Testing file-file scenario (followed the blog: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/xi/flatFILETOFLATFILE&)
Initially i was hving problems with recvr comm channel, which are now resolved. File is sent successfully but not recvd. I tried to modify the scenario above and change the file type to 'Text' but still got the same error.
I've checked SICF -->default_host/xi/engine , we dont maintain logon data there. when i test the default_host/xi/engine service, it resolves into an ip addr as follows:
http://<hostname>.<domain.com>:8001/sap/xi/engine?sap-client=<clientNo>
(Also, we hv a BW system running on the same server ,which uses a fully qualified domain, while we dont which is why we get the above domain. Im not sure if there are any issues with that.)
and we get the foll error:
Error Code 10060: Connection timeout
If i remove the domain manually, im prompted for userid/pwd and get the foll result:

The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.
Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish to simply refuse the connection.
Possible Tips: Because of J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app not active
Try to (re)start the application using the Visual Administrator Choose Server --> Services --> Deploy --> View on Application or restart the J2EE engine
The problem is that not all J2EE services can be started by the J2EE. i.e Start the Visual Administrator and select Server->Services->Deploy in the tree on the left. On the right-hand side, choose the Runtime tab page. You see a tree in the right window with all applications if you select the APPLICATION radio button. Check if they are running, otherwise choose Start. Usually the J2EE engine starts all services automatically.
