Old Calendar Events Gone

My calendar events from last October and beyond are no longer on my iPhone or iPad.
2 questions. Can I get them back on there and how do I keep them from disappearing in the future ?

I want to ensure I fully understand so I may further assist! In which calendar and device were your old entries stored? Are the entries in your Gmail calendar? Is so, have you tried syncing Gmail calendar the device in question? Please share more details so I may further assist. Thank you.

Deleting old calendar events

Is there any way to delete old events from the calendar, eg. from 2007 back for instance? This includes iphone, mobileme and home computers.

Depends entirely on the calendar app you're using. On the iPhone, no. But, if you are syncing via iTunes, there's a checkbox to eliminate syncing of events older than a certain number of days. Outlook (Windows) has an archiving tool which can delete old calendar events. iCal (Mac) does not.

Old calendar events on notification pull down

This has happened twice now on ios 8.0, I pull down the notifications and I still see old calendar events that have passed. I can only clear this by restarting the iphone.

How do I eliminate old calendar events in my 8703e?

I currently have 913 calendar entries in my 8703e (about 2 years worth). Documentation says to go into Calendar Options and then Keep Appointment Option to set the retention period. But I can't access the latter. Any ideas on how to delete the old calendar entries?

if you are sync your device with the pc through blackberry desktop manager is too easy, connect the device, open DM, go to sync, in sync options change to sync only futures events

3GS update to iOS 4.0 - Calendar events gone!

Update and sync seemed to go well until I went to check my schedule. All my calendar entries were gone. The weird thing is I have a clock (simply called "Analog") which is very nice and simple, and you can toggle the month on the bottom to show dates where there are calendar events. The events were highlighted, but the calendar was empty. Odd...
Re-syncing to the Mac brought the events back and my other iPhone (both 3GS) didn't have the problem. The problem child was updated and synced on a (PPC) G5 and the second (non-problem child) was updated and synced on an (Intel) Macbook (current OS).
Otherwise no problems so far. Love the update.

iPhone 3GS -> iOS4 -> CalDav calendars appear in the list of calendars, but do not contain any entries.
If I create a new event in my CalDav calendar on the iPhone, it properly pushes the update to the CalDav server, then the entry disappears from the iPhone (the event remains on the server).

Calendar Events Gone

Hi Everyone,
Tonight all of the calendar events in my iPhone 4s disappeared. I had installed an app "CalenMob", following that, everything was gone. I deleted the app and restored the phone to a previous iCloud backup. Following the restore, the calendar events are still not showing up at all. I've checked all of the settings (I think) and still no luck.
Any advice?

in our situation we have lost only some events, our set up is 3 main calendars and three delegated users put the appointments on. The 3 main clients view the calendar in their surgeries, and two of the delegates are the two reception area delegates who make the bookings.
The third delegate is the office manager.
2 of the main accounts seem to be unaffected but one has about 20% of the calendar are now gaps (pardon the ascii pun).
The strange thing is that this inability to sync the updates for the one calendar has been present for some time, only one reception delegate has had the complete calendar. We have have put up with it while we wait for a tech' to migrate us from PPC to intell (hello Ian can you hear me!).
Yesterday though after the 10.5.3 u/grade even that delegate developed 'empty spots'.
Today we will us an exported calendar to import it into a new delegate local calendar, match the two side by side, then control click the appropriate event and transfer to to the delegated calendar.
oooorrrr Cyrus or someone with similar ability will rescue it all for us.
So far iCal server has worked as advertised (sort of), unfortunately the ad' was written by a windoze fanboy,

Calendar events gone and cannot input new events

I just uploaded the newest update for my Iphone 4, and now all of my previously entered calendar events are missing. Also I can not input any new events into my calendar. Help! I had important appointments saved there and now there gone!!!

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Trying to use Automator to delete old Calendar Events

I am trying to use Automator to quickly delete all Calendar events prior to a specified date. I use Find Calendar Events to successfully find all of the events prior to a certain date. I check the results and they are good.
Then I use Delete Calendar Events and I receive the following error:
"Delete Calendar Events failed - 1 error
The event cannot be deleted. (0)."
This happens no matter when I set the prior date.
My calendar is an Exchange calendar and is not shared.
Any ideas on what to try?

Yes, I can manually delete them. I can also use Outlook to delete them multiple at a time from a search list.
I agree with you, I don't think Automator is the problem, I think there is some permission setting I must be missing, but no clue what.

Sync: old calendar events deleted from Exchange

Hi,
we have 8 users of Blackberry 8330 who are synchronizing with Exchange 2003 via Outlook 2007 and Blackberry Desktop Manager v5.0_b028.
For most of them, all is fine, but two users recently noticed that all non-recurring calendar event older that 2 months have been erased from Exchange. Moreover, one of these users noticed this morning that an event that she could see yesterday in Outlook, dated 2009-11-07, was erased this morning during the synchronization.
What can be happenning here, and is this behavior configurable?

I found the problem was a setting on the SLVR for deleting events in the phone's datebook after the set amount of time passed.

Trouble gettin old Calendar events from iPhone to iCloud.

I had some initial problems sync'ng Calendar events between my iPhone 5S and the iCloud account from my PC. After performing one of those iCloud 24-hr resets, all new events will now syncronize between the iPhone and iCloud: create, modify and/or delete. However, none of the events which previously existed on my iPhone appears in the iCloud calendar even though the settings on the iPhone for Mail, Contacts and Calendars is Sync: All Events.
Any suggestions?

You should start by resetting your sync history and see if that resolves your issue. To reset sync history:
1. Open iTunes
2. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
3. Click the Syncing tab.
4. Click the Reset Sync History button.

Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Sync (in the Calendars section) and set it to a longer time period.

Why are my calendar events gone since updating to ios7

Ever since updating to iOS7 my calendar is empty. All of my events are gone. Most of them remain on my computer calendar, but that seriously isn't helping me when I am out. I have 10 kids and my calendar makes managing that possible. HELP!!!

If you have not done so already, check to see if you are syncing with iCloud. You may just need to turn on that feature to see the calendars. Check both on your computer and on your iPhone.

Having trouble with old calendar events being resent to recipients directly from iCloud?

I use an iPad2 and have limited iCloud services turned on. Somehow, iCloud is reinviting my wife and daughter to a couple reoccuring events I set up in 2006. It has sent each one over a dozen times. The messages have my email but reference that these are iCloud invitations. Odd since I do not have iCloud turned on for calendar items.
I use Outlook 2011 on my Macs and they tie to a corporate Exchange server.
Anyone seeing anything similar?

Then, if you’re using iCloud to store your contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and notes, don’t also sync them to your device using iTunes. I use iCloud and have no sync selections selected in the iTunes Info panes for my iDevices.

Entourage Calendar Events gone bye-bye

I have the Blackberry 8130 and downloaded PocketMac for Blackberry to sync. (PocketMac v1.2(1.4)). Two annoyances have come up since my first sync:
I use only Entourage calendar and want to shut off the ICal options that keep popping up.
My last sync a number of Entourage 2008 error messages came up which I ignored, now i've lost a TON of events in my calendar prior to the sync date. I need these events and they are no where to be found.
Any ideas are much appreciated.

This happens to me as well, sometimes they suddenly comeback, sometimes I need to retrieve them from my backup. Its so annoying!
Were running af 2003 exchange sp1 server, I'm guessing it has something to do with that not a sp2 server. Most apple programs work better on that version.
