Old Computer is Dead and Bought new computer

Here's the deal. My old computer died, well is in the process of dying so I bought a new one. I followed the instructions and deauthorized the old one. Got the new iTunes on this one and authorized this computer,now my only authorized computer. Synced my old music onto this computer and bought some new songs. But for some odd reason those songs won't transfer to my iPod(nano) AND the new iTunes won't update my iPod either. It sees it and recognizes it, but won't send anything to it.
What is the deal? I'm getting frustrated in my endeavors.

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, so if you no longer have the old desktop the only way to deauthorise it is to log into your account on your computer's iTunes and 'deauthorise all', and then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need.

Until you get a UK bank account and credit card, buy and redeem UK iTunes gift cards for use in the iTunes and Mac App Stores. But you need to switch your region/country to the UK store in your account information, as you can't use UK iTunes gift cards in the Irish stores, the gift cards are country specific.

If you did not erase your apps and data before getting rid of your old phone, try using Find My Phone and erasing everything remotely. See if this works.

The E-M1 was first supported by Camera Raw 8.3 which is only compatible with CS6 and CC. It is not compatible with CS5 or lower and never will be.

Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the Raw E-M1 files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5

emgr_update no longer sets or gets the thesaurus from workbench. In 11 all workbench configurations are saved in IFCR configuration directly.
Hence the thesaurus entry should be added directly in version 11 Workbench as opposed to xml file in older versions.
And if you want to migrate the changes across environments then import_site script in control directory can be used.

I bought about 2-3000 songs over itunes, I had different macbooks in usage. and now I cannot hear my music, I payed for because I used it already on more than 5 accounts? but the old macbooks are "dead" and i will activite the music on the new one....

I bought all the music and i have problems now with "too many accounts" - but i will use my music only on 1-2 ipods and on 1-2 macs - but i use some old apple hardware before and so I´m over the "5" maximum pieces. what can I do... thanks!!!!!

If you need to authorize your new computer and are unable due to already having five authorized computers, you can deauthorize all computers by doing the following:
Click iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
Click the Account button again (your Apple ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.

TS1591 My iPhone 5 was originally backed up to another computer (that is now dead) and my new computer won't recognize it. So how do I get the new computer to recognize it?

I'm trying to back-up my iPhone to iTunes, but when the phone is plugged in it does not register as a device in iTunes.
The phone is receiving a charge from the computer.
All of my software is up to date.
I am using a computer other than the one I last backed the phone up with (my old laptop crashed, now I'm working off of my new iMac).
How do I get the computer to recognize the phone so I can do a back-up?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
It sounds like you have failed to do this, which is not good at all.
You will have to transfer your itunes purchases from your iphone. Authorize your computer for your itunes account
About iTunes Store authorization and deauthorization
Open itunes, plug in iphone, do NOT sync, click File>Transfer Purchases
When you do sync you will lose your pics ( photo library - synced from your old computer), your itunes content ( music, apps, videos,etc) , your contacts and your calendars. So do NOT sync yet. This is why a backup copy is so important.
Enter one unique contact and calendar entry on your computer.
When you first sync, you should get the option to merger the data. Choose it.
If you want your pics, then you will need to e-mail them to yourself before you sync. They will not be of the original quality as they are reduced when synced to iphone.
When all is as goos as it can be, then backup your computer, and always maintain the backup.

Old 32 GB itouch broke, bought new 64 GB and now old audio books won't play

I broke the glass on my old 32 GB itouch and purchased a 64 GB replacement so I had more room for my stuff, some of the apps I needed to do my job and when I tried to use one of the apps to find the az and el for a satellite dish in the middle of the desert in Afghanistan it would not work... then I found none of my apps or audio books would work for me either... I paid for all of these apps and books so why can't I used them on my new ipod? Very disappointing.

Can't I remove authorization for all of my apps and audio books from the 32 GB itouch I own with the broken glass and authorize them on the new 64 GB itouch? I can't download all of that stuff here, the internet is slow and unreliable in the middle of the desert here in Afghanistan.

My MacBook is completely dead and a new charger is not lighting up...do I need a new battery?

I have had my second hand MacBook for 18 months and have replaced the charger twice...so when the charger failed to light up or charge the MacBook I ordered a third charger.
But it arrived this morning and the new one does work either ;(
If I take it out and into the port the light sometimes flicks orange incredibly briefly.
My MacBook is completely dead so I can't turn it on to check anything
Would a new battery help??

I have erased all the data on the old phone to the best of my knowledge. I don't want to erase it as I'm scared all the data on my new phone will be erased.please help. I am in Indonesia.

But did you enable Find My iPhone in settings on your stolen phone before it was stolen? If you didn't, you can't track it or do anything else using Find My iPhone.

That's an indication that you are tracking your new phone, not your old one.

i think icloud should let you update your purchases so that the games will sync to your new computer and they will be backed up. i am not sure how to do this so you do not lose the levels you have completed.
if not can you export the game to the new computer with the current settings?
or another way is to sync to the new computer and redo all the levels you have completed again and it should take you less time?

A new IMac, old xp pc, Linksys and a new Hp All in one...now what?

Someone please point me in the right direction. I need to share all the functions of the HP all in one, printing and scanning with my new mac and old xp PC. Sharing files will be nice as well. At this point all will be hardwired. I may add a PC notebook wirelessly in the future. The Imac and the pc are hardwired to the router ( Linksys WRT54G Version 2). At this point I can access the internet fine. The printer HP CM1312nfi MFP is still in the box.
What do I do next. My router is out of warrantee and Linksys will not help. Apple care tells me to call Linksys and HP says the same.
I need a simple step by step guide that I can understand. I have been searching the internet for days and I simply give up?

Album artwork-how do i get rid of old low res images and get new artwork?

Before apple introduced the new artwork download, I spent ages searching the internet for album sleeves and copied them to itunes, but the quality of the images in some cases was very bad. I am trying to replace this artwork with the downloadable high quality images but I can't work it out. I have tried going to the itunes folder in the music section of the finder and deleting all album artwork and then starting a new album artwork download, but all my old crappy low res pictures turn up again after I have done it. Any clues please? I am sure I am missing something.

Select all the muisic you want to remove artwork from.
Right click - Get info.
iTunes willask if you wan tot edit info for multiple items at once. Click OK.
ONLY tick the box next to Artwork then Apply.
It should delete all artwork in those songs.
