Old Ichat Account on New computer
Recent Hard Drive replacement (no back up) on my Dad's IMAC with Snow Leopard.
When we try to create an ICHAT account (using his mobile me info) we get an error message saying that this ichat account is already in use.
How do we get his 'new computer' to sign in to his old ichat account?
Or how do we get his old account information into ICHAT without creating a new account?

Sign in with the original username and password. The buddy list is stored on the server, not the computer.

I have an old iPod touch with songs from CD's I no longer have (so they weren't purchased on iTunes). The computer that the songs were synced on crashed a while ago. Is there a way I can sync my old iPod to my new computer and retrieve those songs to get them on my new iPhone? They share an Apple ID and iTuens account.

Purchase an external hard drive and use the backup software that comes with it to backup files from your computer.
Buy TouchCopy and install it on your new computer, connect your old iPod and transfer your songs to your computer. -
The computer I started my itunes account on crashed. I would like to put all my old music onto my new computer but I cant get into the old computer to import. Is there anyway to get my old music another way?

One of the reasons to include your iTunes library with your computer's backup along with all other important data that is kept separate from your laptop - not carried in the same case, etc.
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iDevice, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize your new computer with your iTunes account with iTunes. With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
If you are in the US, you can do this now as well.

Note t transfer iTunes purchases you have to know the account ID and password for the account that purchased them. Also, if you did not purchase the music, you are not entitled to use the music. -

Your library will only be where you put it. it resides on your computer.

The guy at att told me that icloud would sync everything i had in my notes, calendar, and text messages to my new phone, but it only synced some of my notes, none of my messages, or calendar info.Your music will only be where you put it. It will not magically appear on a new computer.

Sorry if this posted twice I am NEW. I thought I could just go back to what I typed and add to it. Mom had a computer it died they are putting in the old drive on the new computer as a slave. What are the steps I need to do to transfer ALL the bookmarks, user names and passwords onto the new computer. We will have 3 desktops do we have to do the same steps on each desktop? HT1202 old ipod on my new computer, will I lose my old music
as the title says for some god awful reason I seem to not have transfered some of my old purchases to my new computer and vice versa so before I lose my music I want to make sure it is safe to sync.

First here is some information about what the Transferring Purchases function does:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer

Essentially you can transfer the purchases you have on your iPod to the New computer. If you have songs on there that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, then they will not transfer.
If that will be an issue then I recommend copying the library from the original computer the iPod used to sync with to the new one. Use this article for assistance with that:

How can I transfer stuff from my old Ipod to my new computer?
Still did not work. I did everything listed. The program did not work as needed because it is only the free version and I should not have to pay for 3rd party software for something like this. Also, that article is outdated because windows 7 does not come with contacts software, but I managed to get it to work with a helpful post on another forum. Itunes still asked me to replace current iPod's data, I went ahead and clicked yes. I'll just go ahead and redownload all of my music and whatnot. Thanks anyway.
