Old MP3 and USB Charg

Hi
I bought a Zen Vision: M and I recieved it today. Im charging it now, but previously, I owned a Zen Touch. I was wondering if it is possible to use the old charger to charge my new Zen Vision M which doesnt come with a charger.
One more thing, I also have an adapter for a USB which plugs into the mains. Is it possible for me to charge my Zen by plugging it's USB cable into the mains that way.
Any help would be great.

Absolutely! I use my Zen Sleek Photo charger to charge the Vision M 30 and it works great, much faster than charging it through the USB.

The Dell DJ's dont have this, and were dying to get this option..... Now there are complaints on not to have it's? :S
And like SSR said, it does not affect the battery as the type that is used is one that can be recharged hundreds of times (and by the time the battery is ready to die out your player will die out of your mind as you will most likely have a new one by then).

When you say auto off, do you mean that it turns off when it's idle? If so, then yes, it does. Otherwise post up more detail and I'm sure someone can answer your question.
The Zen Micro can charge over USB aswell, but remember this will take longer than with the power adapter.

Battery Life and USB Charging iPhone 4

I got my new iPhone 4 last week but it gets seriously hot when it's charging. Whether it's directly to an outlet, via an extension cord or plugged in via USB to my PC. And when I say hot I mean hot enough to happily fry an egg on...
It doesn't appear to charge very well at all when plugged in via a USB to my PC? The battery also dies really quickly.
Is this normal or should I get it checked out?
I have a iPod touch which does not get hot when charging at all or during use, and the battery dies quickly when in constant use but is generally pretty good.
I probably sound like a bit of a whinger but thought it best to double check!!

Thank you! Everyone I speak to that has an iPhone 4 seem to have similar difficulties (some none at all) and no one has given me any clue to what to expect or anything to gauge it by!! I seem to have figured ways to get the battery to last longer but it still needs charging everyday....something I've been told to expect!!

I am playing Diablo 3 on my 3-months old MBP, and the charger is not charging...

When playing, I noticed that the charger is not charging enough to sustain both the running the computer and charge the battery at the same time, hence the battery drops very slowly.
Is that a common problem or is there a fix for that? Or there is something wrong with the charger?

The program taxes the MBP more than the charger can keep up. Take a break every once and a while. I assume everything is fine if you're not playing this game?

Explosion after 1 month of use...(USB Charger + Lighting Cable

I had a BIG luck today for my new iPhone...
I have connnected and plugged to the USB charger the Lighting Cable, and put it to the mains, after 3 seconds heard and seen explosion and all became black at the connecting point...by luck i did not connect iPhone itself..
Use my original ONLY accessories since the date of purchase of IP5...19 Jan. 2013.
My MacBook Pro is connected to the same point...all is safe, but this...
Need to go to the shope to exchange the cable and USB charger...called them already...: "Apple Products are never get to this..., we will give you a replacement...as we do not have original ones..."

Can you try eBay for the docking cables, since you sound like a cable destroyer.
I think on eBay, the cables are less than €9 or if from some Oriental countries less €1 which maybe where your fragile cable comes from.

Placing your device into recovery (DFU) mode:

I can't plug in my charger and USB into my Playbook. Therefore, I can't charge me playbook.

Yesterday, I just found out that I can't plug in my charger and USB into my playbook when I want to charge my playbook. Last time that I charged my playbook was 2 weeks ago,I think. And my playbook was 6 months old. I brought it in Christmas, it is Christmas gift for myself. It was my first time buying a blackberry because I thought as a Canadian, I should buy and use more Canadian products, I used to use Ipod and Ipod touch. I am so disappointed with RIM, because it is only 6 months old, my first ipod is about 9 years old now, but it still works very well.
Anyway, I have no idea why this happened, and no idea about how to fix it. Any one can help? I will be really appreciate.
Since I think my playbook is still in warranty, I want to find a RIM station so that they can help me fix it. But I have no idea where it is? I live in Misgauge, near Etobicoke. and also, I just realized that I lost my receipt. I brought it in Bust Buy.

I think the female connector on the playbook is the problem, since I am pretty sure that there is no damage on my charger and cable( because I only used my usb cable a few times, and it is always in a drawer. also because it is my only and first playbook, I don't have other cable to verify your question. sorry for that, but I will try to borrow my friends' blackberry cable to verify it, if I can.
However, I have no idea why the female connect broke. It has never ever in any harsh conditions. there is no reason for that.
also, if you would like, could you tell me how I can connect RIM? (i.e. tell me their number or where their service centre is) I would really appreciate.

This must be due to some kind of degredation of the Ipod. . It is not fixed by IOS resets as others have noted.
Has anyone asked Apple directly about this?

Update: It seems as though the phone will charge if I plug it in and then turn it off. It will not charge while the phone is on. Also iTunes will not recognize it, so I can't sync or anything. I read somewhere that it could be a fuse somewhere?? Or maybe the dock connector. Where is the best place to get this repaired?

My ipod touch is frozen on a screen with the ipod logo and the usb charger cable...i cannot get rid of it...i let the battery die...i held the sleep button and the power buttons..anyone have any ideas?

Try charing it to 50% at least.
If all else fails, try putting it in DFU mode. Connect it to iTunes, (iTunes may not detect the device, but that's ok) hold the power and home buttons down for 10 seconds, then release the power button but keep holding the home button until it goes into DFU mode. iTunes should detect it and ask for a restore.

That is never fun when your iPod touch does not show up on your Mac. Take a look at the article below to walk you through on getting it to show back up on your iTunes. It is very easy to read so you wont feel overwhelmed with to much techy jargon. Let me know if you get this worked out.
