I have purchased both PHotoshop 6 and 7 years ago thru Adobe.com, and need to download a copy to my new laptop but there are no download links.

Nope, forget that. You will have to find them elsewhere. That is eons ago and they no longer exist even on the Adobe servers, so this method won't even work. That aside, they probably won't install on contemporary operating systems, anyway. You may be looking for something that is bound to end up in frustration and failure...

Hello to everyone,
i work for a small editorial company, i found out that we have some old Photoshop CS (Photoshop 8.0) licences and i want to use one of them, but the installation cds are missing.
Is there a place where i can download the installation file? I tried on the ftp server but i cant find my version, only more recent ones.

If I understand correctly, a license for Photoshop CS should entitle you to use CS2.

Cant reactivat an old photoshop version

I gave my uncle the old photoshop version 8 and deactive both installations on my computer. I deinstalled the version on my computers too. I buy a new version 11 and installed it, it is working fine. But I can active the Version 8 on the other compüter from my oncle. But we receive some warnings that the version is not activated. And we have a permaned internet connetion too.
Only the deactivation is highlighted under the help button

check the show downloads and the rest even resting the download folder..

I can see the files while being downloaded only when they are done.. they disappear

Old Photoshop version 6.0

Hello, not quite new to this forum but haven't been here a long while.
I want to reinstate my old Photoshop 6.0 onto my iMac. I just installed OS 9.2.2 on it so I could run this old app and it tells me it needs to find OTutilityLib. Phone support from Adobe could not help me out. Does anyone have an idea on this? It would be greatly appreciated. I don't need this app very often anymore and can't afford to buy the newest version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MS Project 2013 Trial Download not visible in installed programs and thus can't open

I've consulted other posts however answer is not listed. I have followed the instructions to download the file. I've downloaded the 64-bit file and selected Open application on download however nothing happens. I've gone to my Control Panel
and Project 2013 is NOT listed. I've searched for Project 2013 in the start up menu to no avail.
Can anyone advise how I can get the software installed on my laptop? The fact it states the application has downloaded but it's not visible as a downloaded file is driving me crazy.

Hello Marisa,
When you download the trial, it downloads the image file by name ProjectProfessional_x64_en-us.img
Do you see this file under your download folder? If yes, then you have downloaded the trial software successfully.
As a next step, you need to extract .img into a directory using any tools that unzip the .img format (e.g., 7-zip
http://www.7-zip.org/ ) and then install from it by running setup.exe.

Old Peopletools version download ?

I need to reinstall an old Peoplesoft version, because we have to move an install from an old hosting provider to the new one.
This install has to be kept because of legal data conservation delay only, so no upgrade is planned.
Problem is, customer has lost his install media. So is there a way to retrieve the media for the following versions ?
PeopleTools 8.43
HRMS 8.80
Tuxedo 6.5
Weblogic 6.1

Custom work centers are not visible in the production tenant UI after solution is deployed

Hi Experts,
We have deployed the solution into the production tenant. The solution is deployed successfully. But the custom business option(BAC) element which we have created is not part of proejct scoping.
We have created a new change project in production and added the custom business option to the project.
Under this custom business option we have fine tuning activity which is having all the custom configurable code lists.
All these configurable code list are not visible as views. these are already assigned to WCF of one of our custom BO under asssinged objects.
These configurable code lists are displaying like below.
Because of this i am not able to close this fine tuning activity and i am not able merge the change project into Main project.
Once after merging the change project into main project, I came to know the all the custom work centers will be visible. I am correct here?
Can anybody know how to resolve this issue. Please let us know..!

Hi Mani,
this issue sometimes occurs. Please create an incident as soon as possible. Sometimes the BCSets / BCViews need to be regenerated in the backend. Support can correct this. Mention that you did this using the SAP Cloud Applications Studio.

Photoshop CS2 thumbnails not visible in Windows Explorer

I have Photoshop CS2 running on XP Pro, and all of the thumbnail images for my PSD files show up as black squares in Windows Explorer. The files I created in PS6 still show their thumbnail images, but once I load them into CS2 and save them, they're gone. Any ideas as to what's causing this?

There was a DLL called psicon.dll provided with early versions of Photoshop that made .psd thumbnails visible in the 32 bit Windows Explorer. I don't know whether later versions of .psd files might be incompatible.
For modern systems, especially 64 bit systems, there is no Adobe-supplied icon shell extension - one has to go to commercial (but inexpensive) software from one of a couple of companies out there who provide the proper codec:

Of course, if you investigate these double check to be sure the software will work on your system.
Before paying for anything you might also check to see if you have the Maximize Compatibility setting checked in Edit - Preferences - File Handling.

IMovie7.1.4 trial version download not working, Why?

I thought I could download trial before I buy. As I download this trial version and it launched, it gives me this alert "An eligible iMovie application was not found in the location/applications". I have iMovie 3.0.3 already in my application folder that came with OS. Since I want to try before I buy. Why is it doing this and how do I bypass this?

I assume you have downloaded the free download of iMHD6.0.4 .. which indeed works only if iLife08 is installed.

Movies play in old QT versions but not now?

Hey everyone! I have a .mpg file created about 5 years ago on a G4. I recently tried opening it on my G5 with QT Version 7.5.5 but it said "This file could not be opened because it is not a movie file." When I went back to the G4 and tried opening it there with QT Version 7.1.6 it opened and played just fine. Any suggestions on how to correct this? I saw that another post said you have to enable older codecs in QT Preferences under the Advanced Tab, but when I went there for my version of QT (7.5.5) there was no Advanced Tab available. Is this a QT Pro feature? Thanks everyone!

Old Photoshop Version

Can I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 with a windows 7 pc with a 64 bit processor

You are certainly welcome to try. Feel free to post back any error messages you received. Please do consider though that Windows 7 was not even created when Photoshop Elements 2.0 was the current software so it may not function on such an advanced operating system.

Downloads not visible after completing download.

When I click on the downloads tab from Tools the window is blank none of my downloads show up there. Downloads appear to load fully but then they disappear.

I also have a problem with iPhoto hanging, though not exactly the same as Ron above:
I have connected my iPhone 4 to my iMac as I usually do, and as usual the normal automatic process of importing photos began. I clicked on "Import Photos" button, and all seemed fine until it got to the last new image, and now the process is hanging.
The progress bar still says "1 remaining", but this pic file cannot be any bigger than any of the others and therefore shouldn't take any longer to import. It has been like this for at least 15 minutes now. The only Help menu reference I can find says not to disconnect (the iPhone).
What should I do?

I purchased Thrift Shop (Macklemore) but recieved the edited version, not the explicit one. When I look at it in ITunes and I preview it, it's the explicit one but it says "Purchased". How do I get the correct (explicit) version?

This item may have been mislabelled in the store. You'll need to contact the iTunes Store support team via the "Report a problem" links in your account history. Go to Store > View Account > Purchase History.
