I'd like to report that my old posts are not associated with this account (even 'though I've got the same e-mail address than on the old forums.sun.com account).
Is the migration complete or should we wait a bit more before complaining?

- Item 3 "the migration take some time": that's why I asked how long the migration is expected to take, it's very unclear what timeframe to expect from the migration. Specifically, I've seen some accounts having previous posts associated while others had none. That could either mean the migration is not complete yet or something went wrong.
- Item 6 "reporting log in issues": I can log in just fine, that's not the problem
I'm not trying to be a nuisance, if the answer is "be patient", that's perfectly fine with me. But I have been unable to find any "this is the current status" posts about this migration. And in all honestly: I was expecting a somewhat more transparent migration experience here.Yes, they do need to be more transparent. They may have a bit of a quandary about it, there are so many watching them so closely they might be thinking opacity overrides public relations - they surely don't want to be caught up in flamefests while trying to solve problems, not to mention an overwhelming amount of "advice" not as helpful as people would think. There was a fellow named Warticki who made a slightly humorous comment about the support upgrade, was just vilified online and the press picked up on it. Numerous other examples show that this opacity is standard operating procedure: jive upgrade here, licensing changes there, feature changes everywhere. I don't see how they can avoid it, honestly, as a public corp they have to watch out for forward looking statements. Technical people aren't PR or legal people, and need to be insulated somewhat from screaming users to get anything done. But someone needs to step up and manage expectations here. A tough job, to be sure.

    (WL 6.0sp1 on Win2000) on another machine works absolutely fine running from the
    same client. Is there any setup that needs to be done in Weblogic for this? Any

    Normally when you get this error, your username/password is not correct.
    It's not a clean way of errorhandling. I have had the same issue and after a while i noticed the password i entered was not correct.

    If you updated your existing iTunes account then those apps will be linked to the updated version of your account (you may need to log out of your account on your iPad and then log back in for the account to be refresged on your iPad). If you created a new account then they will remain tied to your old account, and only that old account will be able to re-download them and download updates to its apps.

    I started my first Apple ID a few years back, at which point Google hadn't changed their email addresses from '@googlemail.com' to 'gmail.com'. So when this option became available, I decided to change my email to '[email protected]', instead of the older and more tedious to write '@googlemail.com'. There were no problems, everything worked as expected.
    I've recently changed my password everywhere, and one of the places was my Apple ID. I was taken to the site: "https://appleid.apple.com" where I found the 'Manage my account' link. I successfully changed my password.
    The 'Apple ID and Primary Email Address' caught my eye. It had always frustrated me that my Apple ID was the "old" email address from Google... and previous attempts to change this proved unsuccessful. It always stated that the (newer) '[email protected]' was already in use, which I put down to it being the same Google account. But this time it seemed to work. I received an email saying "Welcome to the iTunes Store", and since then I've had non-stop problems.
    At first I though that the only problem was going to be that I couldn't download/update apps on my iPod touch, or download anything on the iPod's 'iTunes' store. I've managed to link my new account with the iPod so that I can download new apps on it, but every time I go to update an app, it automatically assumes that the Apple ID is my old account: '[email protected]'. I thought that this would be fine, just a minor inconvenience, that I could go to my computer, update the apps there, then sync the iPod and everything would be dandy.
    I looked around and found myself at the IFORGOT site of Apple's. I've tried having an email sent to the 'older' Apple ID '[email protected]', but no email has come through, and I also tried the other option of answering security questions... the first thing it asks is your date of birth, and as far as I know, I only have one of those. However, it told me my DOB was incorrect. My old account no longer seems to exist!!
    I tried updating the apps on my computer for the first time today, went to the 'Apps' tab on the left of iTunes and clicked the link saying '131 Updates Available'. This took me to the iTunes store as always, but when it had finished loading, it read: "No updates are currently available. To check for updates for another Apple ID, sign in with that Apple ID."
    Because all of the apps I downloaded were on my old Apple account, none of them exist as far as my new account is concerned. My old account no longer exists, so I have no option to sign in to that and update them. My collection of apps is far too large for me to even consider just downloading them all again! As well as apps not existing, my iPod touch is not linked to my new Account. I understand I could restore my it so that it would then be linked to it, but actually, I don't want to have to arrange the homescreen again, and re-connect to all the WiFi connections I've already made. Those are all saved in the backup that is updated when it is synchronised.
    Someone please help!! I don't know what to do, and I don't know how to get hold of Apple!!

    That is way too much to read.
    Why did you start a new account?
    You apps and other purchases will always be tied to the accoutn from which they were purchased.  You will have to update them using the user id and password on the accoutn from which they were purchased.
    The charge was very likley a authorization hold and will be removed.

    My daughter lost her iPod touch a few months ago. I have been looking for it with no luck. Is there any way I can try to find it without having an app downloaded on her phone? All my apple devices are linked to one account, including this one.

    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.

    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

    You aren't likely to get an answer with that type of attitude. BTW, you are not contacting Apple on these forums. We are all volunteer end users just like you. If you want support, then call AppleCare and you can get one-on-one assistance.

  • T.code FF7A - How to retrieve items posted before linking the GL account to

    While executing the T.code FF7A, postings that have been created before making the link between the GL account and the cash position grouping are not retrieved to the report.
    Does anyone know how to retrieve those past postings on FF7A report ?

    There are a couple options depending on the additional details of your situation....
    Within t-code FDFD, there is a button labeled Data Setup.  This button is intended for use when cash management (CM) is activated for an existing company code and CM needs to be updated with transactions created prior to the activation.  It deletes all data in cash management for the Co.Cd. and then builds the CM data for all GL, customer and vendor accounts.  There are also options to update CM for other areas (Sales, Procurement, Treasury, etc.)
    Also within t-code FDFD, there is a button labeled Correct Data.  This button can be used instead of the Data Setup button, if the CM data for a particular area needs to be corrected.  This function has the following options:  All GL accounts, All GL accounts with open items, All GL accounts w/o open items (non-open item managed accounts), All Customers/Vendors, All Customers, All Vendors.
    It's best to run these functions when transactions are not being created on the system.

  • I need help to change user name, it does not belong to this account it belongs to my employee.

    My employee was helping me setup my Apple ID and accidently typed his username "mykizism" into the user name field when creating my apple id account..  It is now permanently attached to my Apple ID and this is not acceptable.
    My employee has also stated that his user name is private to him and wishes for it to be not publicly displayed.
    Can a moderator / host please help me with this?

  • Album cannot be downloaded cause it was not purchased on this account

    I downloaded an album on my iPod touch 4g and got an update on my iPad saying could download what I just bought on to my iPad as well. I went to do this and iTunes claims I didn't buy the album with my iTunes account even though I did and both devices are signed into the same account. It refused to download this album only everything else works fine.

    Yeah.  This has been discussed here many times.  USe the forum search bar on the right side of this page.
    Icloud is in beta version now, so there may very well be issue until it is released in its final version in the fall.

  • 2800es Not linking to SEN account

    I just got a 2800es and when I try to activate the SEN it works online but the reciever keeps giving me "Link an Account"I have a good internet connection and when I sign in online it shows the receiver activated but the receiver is still just showing "Link an Account" I've tried to reset to default and everything else I could find online. Nothing seems to help.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

    The entiries genertaed from automatic payment program(F111) is not picking the bank sub accounts (Receipts/Payment GLs) which are given in the following node:-
    Financial Accounting --> Bank Accounting --> Business Transactions -->Payment Transactions --> Payment Request --> Define Clearing Accts forReceiving Bank for Acct. Transfer
    It is picking the Main Bank GL, which has given in bank master(FI12).
    Please advise.

    The config : Financial Accounting --> Bank Accounting --> Business Transactions -->Payment Transactions --> Payment Request --> Define Clearing Accts for Receiving Bank for Acct. Transfer
    Is to decide bank sub account of the sending bank, when you are doing Bank to Bank transfer. This is manditory for cash management bank to bank transfer. Please read the config documentation again.
    I just cut and paste from SAP documentaion.
    "In this activity you define the offsetting accounts for the receiving bank accounts for bank account transfers (payments between house bank accounts) which should be posted to when payment is made.
    The entries are necessary when payment requests are created for cash management payment advice notes that result from cash concentration, for example. The offsetting accounts for the paying house bank are determined by the payment program specifcations and the payment methods used. The offsetting accounts for the receiving house bank cannot be determined from these specifications, however, but can be defined in this section. "
    Now, when you are creating payments with F111 and if you want to get sub accounts for house bank you have to do the following config.
    F111 -> Maintain Configuration -> Bank determination -> Bank accounts ( for each accont id and payment method combination ).
    Then you will see payments from this sub accounts and you have to setup posting rule to clear this account if you are doing EBS.

    I have recently purchased several albums onto my account and when I play songs from them the box pops up and says that the song is not authorized on this account. I tried to deauthorize all other computers and the songs still do not to play. What should I do?
