Old purchased apps still good on new itouch?

Hi, i am thinking about getting a new 32GB 2G itouch because my 16Gb 2G itouch is filling up fast. If u get a new itouch will my old purchased apps still sync and work fine on my new itouch? Will i have to repurchase them?

No, they will be good for the new one as well. I have a G1 iPod and recently had a G2 on test: the apps went straight on.

  • Is it possible to upgrade an old PB G4 to support a new iTouch?

Is it possible to upgrade an old PB G4 to support a new iTouch?
I understand I can upgrade the RAM and upgrade the internal drive.  But I don't know if that is sufficient to run a newer version OS...which ever that might be.  I think the newer ones need a dual core intel chip to run?  I plan to give my daughter a new iTouch but since I already have maxed out devices on my laptop, I thought I would just update my old PowerBook G4.

No. The current iPod touch models require Mac OS X 10.6.8, which requires an Intel Mac.

  • HT201272 i can't see my purchased apps in itunes on new ipad when I go into the itunes store. It shows nothing. I haven't changed my ID or country of purchase. It shows that I would have to rebuy them when I go into the store.

i can't see my purchased apps in itunes on new ipad mini. when I go into the itunes store. It shows nothing. I haven't changed my ID or country of purchase. It shows that I would have to rebuy them when I go into the store. Is there something in settings on Itunes I need to change? I do not have cloud.

Yes I am looking in the app store. When I look in Itunes on my computer and look at purchased apps it is there. And when I go on my other device and look at apps purchased all apps are there.
The new ipad doesn't show any apps purchased when I click on apps purchased and when I search the app store it doesn't show it is purchased. I am wondering if I am just missing something...need to turn something on in options or something. Never had this problem with previous ipad when I set it up.

  • I am having trouble answering my old security questions for my itunes account and it is creating a problem because I am not able to purchase apps/songs on my new IPAD. What phone number/email adress should I call to get a quick response to my issue?

I have recently bought an IPAD 2 for my girlfriend and have encountered a problem with purchasing apps through my itunes account. It is requesting that I not only enter my pasword (which I know) but answer my old account questions, which I have forgotten the answers to. It had since locked me out of changing my questions for eight hours. Is there any number I can call to prove that I am the real owner of my itunes account so my girlfriend will be able to use her ipad to purchase new apps without having to go through the trouble of using one of my other apple devices? Random information: I believe my questions were set back in 2007 when I purchased my first ipod nano, since then I have used this same itunes account for my own ipod touch and ipad 2 and my girlfriends iphone 1st generation. I have never run into a problem regarding my questions before on any of these devices

  • Can't access old purchased apps on a new iPad

I just got a new iPad mini, logged in my old apple id and wanted to restore  early purchased apps. But, unfortunately, App Store only showed me recent apps that I bought after I downloaded ios7.
I tried to login on a different device, nothing changed.
First time have such a problem.
Is there a way to get access to all my previous purchased ?

All of your purchased apps should be available to download again for free as long as you are using the same Apple ID that you bought the apps with. If you have two Apple ID's, you have to use the appropriate ID for those apps.
Are you looking in the purchased tab of the App Store and are you looking at the Not on this iPad tab of the purchased section? Did you try just going into the App Store, do a search for one of the apps and try downloading it again and see what happens?
Did you try signing out of the App Store, restart the iPad and then sign in again?

  • Is my old .Mac email still good?

I have an old .Mac and an old .me account. Are either of these still usable? If not, how do I transfer this to, is it iCloud? I guess I'm just confused over how to do this

Both addresses are still good and will remain good. They don't change when you switch to iCloud.
You have time to make the switch, so learn more about iCloud first.

  • All Purchased Apps still not showing up even after iTunes Update

Even after getting lates iTunes update I am only see 88 of my purchased app versus 2134. Is anyone else experiencing a proble see their purchaed apps in iTunes?

Yes, I am using only one Apple ID. The problem, since iOS 6, is the App Store purchased items screen just shows a spinning wheel until it finally crashes or gives the error message 'can not connect to Apple store'.
I can see my purchased apps on the Mac iTunes but not on any on my devices that have been updated to iOS 6.

  • How to find purchased apps - Stolen iPhone and New Computer

I got a new iPhone 3gs, but had a broken laptop at the time. I set up iTunes on the phone and went on holiday. Whilst on holiday, my iPhone was stolen. Now I am back, my laptop is fixed (but had to be completely wiped and so iTunes and apps lost), and I have just received my replacement iPhone.
I have downloaded iTunes, and put in my iTunes login, and was hoping my apps would magically appear, but they don't seem to be anywhere.
I'm worried that because my iPhone was not plugged into my computer after downloading the apps and before losing the phone, I have lost them completely, and some of them were quite pricey and I downloaded loads.
Any advice appreciated, or should I just cut my losses and give up trying and just start again?

Log into iTunes, view your account and *Purchase history* to see what you have purchased.
You can redownload Apps for free.

  • Apps not working on new itouch...help!!

hey everyone. yesterday, my parents bought me a new 2nd gen. itouch. everything was perfect for that day, but when i tried to use it this morning, the apps weren't working. let me explain. all the 'apps' that the itouch comes with, ex. photos, calender etc. worked fine, but when i tried to open up an app i had installed, say facebook, it would go to a blank screen for 5 seconds then go back to the screen with all the apps on it. if i try to open ANY app like that, it does the same thing. i have tried EVERYTHING......please help!!!!!!!

I have the 2nd Gen iPod Touch 8GB.
Just updated to iOS 4, and the apps won't even sync.
When restoring, iTunes says, "An error occurred while restoring this iPod (-402636802)."
Then when attempting to install apps, it says, "The application "APP NAME" was not installed on the iPod because an unknown error occurred (0xE003FFE)."

  • Changing old iTunes/app store email to new icloud email

I'm sure its been asked, but everything i find has to do with passwords. Ijust created a icloud email address and apple Id. I'm wanting to change my old aol email I use for iTunes and App Store to my icloud email, but I can't figure it out. Please help. Thank you

First, I don't think simply closing the e-mail account means that you must close the iTunes account. The e-mail address is simply your ID for the iTunes Store account. (And I believe you should be able to change the e-mail address associated with the account so that you still receive receipts, etc. This seems to vary, though. Some users are able to change this while others are not.)
Second, this question has been asked before, and the general response has been that it's not possible. But others have suggested contacting store support. You can reach them here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/. Also...the following link has a question about consolidating Apple IDs. It might prove useful: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE37

  • Old desktop wallpaper still running behind new wallpaper

I noticed when I switch from my wifes account back to my own or when I have to restart my desktop after an update or whatever an old wallpaper of a beach scene still appears & then it takes about 10 seconds before my current wallpaper to appear. Why is that? Once you change wallpapers isn't the old one replaced?
How do I get rid of that old wallpaper still lingering in the background??

Try holding the shift key during start-up, just until desktop appears. If this works, re-post for further instructions.

Make a Smart playlist and set it to Kind contains Purchased, then you won't have to drag any songs.
