Old Recharge Voucher with New Data Pass

Hi Telstra, I have recently read about Telstra's new Data Pass (https://www.telstra.com.au/broadband/mobile-broadband/prepaid) for prepaid mobile broadband and it appears that it now has better value than the old plans. However, I have already purchased my $180 recharge voucher from Coles a few months ago and yet to use this recharge, and I am just wondering if I can take advantage of this new Data Pass using my old recharge. Perhaps I'm I able to go to the store, give my current recharge number and swap my $180 recharge + $10 cash with $140 Data Pass + $50 Data Pass? Or perhaps there are any other alternatives? Please let me know. Cheers!

For anyone wondering how to do this change from the old plan to the data pass, it might be old hat news by now, but the tip is to into your Telstra account, and then "change rate plan" from within manage my or in your case, manage your account.You have to change rate plan to the new data pass.Took a few minutes for me, ... I am very happy Telstra brought in the data pass system.After you have changed your rate plan, you can then recharge with your voucher, either the $50 or the $140 ones online.Otherwise, if you don't change your rate plan, the other older rates will always appl/appear for you to recharge with it.

A serious problem with JTable to update with new data.

I am customizing a JTable. In the table 3 rows and row wise same data presents. After every 30 sec table will be update with new data. But a exception is coming like: ArrayIndexOutofBound 4>=0. Exception is not coming so frequently some time it comes within 1 min or after 1 hour of program running and each time *4>=0* is varies with different number.
Here is the model i am using and to update table i am calling setTableData( ) with updated vector as a argument.

haha, so now i'm thinking. I'm learning the terminal as fast as i can but there are several lines of codes and commands in there that throws up red flags to me that i don't fully understand. It just looks fishy too me. It would be highly appreciated if someone could just check this out just to tell me that i don't need to worry about it. Or point me in the right direction. I have a problem updating my graphs with new data in Illustrator. When I update them with new data each month the y and x-axis tend to change font and size.

You can purchase the enterprise toolkit fron NI, it includes a "database connectivity toolkit".
As regards the design pattern to do you you describe, it will depends on the refresh rate you need and the rate at which you want to write your data to the database.
I would have 2 loops :
- one acquiring the data and putting it in a queue,
- and a second that get the data from the queue, logging data to database and refreshing the graph.
If the write time to database is too long and slows down the graph refresh you place it in another loop.

Problem defining partition for storing value 0 with new data

Hi forumers,
I've a problem with partitioning and need some advices.
I've a table that will be partitioned by column Process_N which have values from 0 to 50000:
Process_N between 1 and 29999 represents old data;
Process_N >= 30000 represents new data;
Process_N = 0 means the row is not processed yet and so these value represents new data too.
Can I have a partition for old values (from 1 to 29999) and another partition to store new values (0 + values >= 30000) ? Hou can I define that ?

What's your oracle version? I think it will be better to create 3 partitions usign RANGE partitions (< 1, 2-29999, >=30000 <=50000). Is there a specific reason you want to include 0 and values greater than 29000 in one partition? What the significant difference between 0 and 30000 specially as both represent new data?

Another strange thing..
My ABAP colleague, debugged the program for me and point out:
      *   get data class (only standard and user values)
>         SELECT * FROM ddart INTO TABLE l_t_ddart
                              ORDER BY tabart.
          DELETE l_t_ddart WHERE   ddclass <> 'STD' AND
                                   ddclass <> 'USR'.
          LOOP AT l_t_ddart INTO l_s_ddart.
The l_t_ddart table contains only 21 rows (without my new Data Class, which is visible under SE16!)! I checked under oracle sqlplus and SELECT * FROM SAP<SID>.ddart; returned 22 rows WITH my new Data Class!
I'm a little bit confused...

Old macbook replaced with new one, still have old hard drive.

I have the old hard drive from my non functioning 3 year old white macbook. Today I have a new white macbook complements of extended warranty. I tried swapping the old drive with the new, but it entered into a boot up loop. It chimes, sits there on the grey screen, then reboots. I'm assuming this is due to upgraded hardware in the new macbook being incompatible with OSX Tiger on the old drive.
So is it possible to put the old drive into an external drive case and run the migration assistant to transfer all the settings, apps, etc across? Is there another way I can make the old drive work with the the new macbook? Thought I might ask before I start shelling out for an external drive case or paying the apple repair store to transfer my data.

Yes you could install it into an external drive case. (They are not that expensive).
Yes, you could reformat the drive GUID partition and install your OS on it.

I am looking for a desktop solution that would allow the option to have the latest OSX (such as the latest iMac) and access this old Mac Pro still. Is this possible?
If so, what are some of the caveats?

Any insights would be helpful! I hate the thought of this old workhorse turning into nothing more than an external hard drive, but it is not upgradable to the new operating system.

It sounds like what you want to do is create a simple peer network so you can use the Mac Pro as a storage unit.
This is easy to do, just connect the two with an ethernet cable and log on using the logon and password for the system you want to access. In the general case, this is a bad idea since you you have unrestricted access but you own both machines so security is a very low priority.
Caveats:
     The OS version will determine what apps a machine can run.
     Data is just data as long as both systems use HSF+ or some other common file system.
     Airport may or may not work... but a hard wire will always get it done and transfers data a lot faster.
You almost never get to have it ALL your way when mixing generations of systems, but if you keep it simple it works well. I've had a peer network with 4-6 systems running in my house since the turn of the century. Most Macs support 1000 baseT (gigabit ether) so data transfers up to 80-90MB/sec are easy.

I have replaced my old Mac Mini with new one. What should I do about my Time Capsule?

With the old Mac Mini (2009 model) I used Time Machine and a Time Capsule to back up everything on the Mac Mini itself and on external hard drive I added when I needed more storage space. I've replaced the old Mac Mini with a 2011 model, and migrated the contents of the old one to the new one from Time Machine.
I'm now trying to figure out what I should do to my Time Capsule and/or Time Machine to make backups going forward of the same content, now on my new Mac Mini and same external hard drive.
When I go into Time Machine, it does not seem to recognise the items on the external hard drive as ones that I can backup (or not, as there were some items there that I did not and do not wish to backup to Time Capsule) through the new Mac Mini.
I am uncertain too whether the Time Machine/Time Capsule will recognise the items of my old Mac Mini as the same ones that are now on my new Mac Mini and save changes there, or whether it will try to save all over again all the same items, as they are now on a different computer.
My inclination is to clear out the contents of the Time Capsule now and start all over again.
I have looked through information provided by Apple but not found answers to my questions.

The situation concerning the hard drive is complicated. It is not included in the list of Excluded Items.
If the drive is not "Excluded", then it must be included. That is the way that Apple's software works.
But, nor am I given the option to select it or any of the items in it for adding to the list of Excluded Items.
If you want to add an item to the list of Excluded items, click the + button at the bottom of the Excluded list, then navigate to select the drive to add it. Once the drive has been added, you can go back in and select the items.
When I go into the exclude from backup area and select the hard drive, it and the items in it appear in dimmed form, but I cannot select them.

What I want to do, but cannot, is what I did before, select one of the items in it not to be backed up and leave the rest to be backed up
I have no idea how you were able to do this. As long as I can remember, Time Machine will not allow you to pick and choose items on a drive to be backed up or excluded. Your option is to have the entire drive backed up, or the entire drive to not be backed up.
have not seen the 'Quick Erase' option.
You would use AirPort Utility to erase the Time Capsule drive. Open AirPort Utillty and click the Disks tab at the top of the screen. Then, click Erase Disk. The Quick Erase option will appear.

How to trigger process chain when datasource is loaded with new data? PUSH

Till now we use the pull method to load data in BW which is done manually......but we would like to work with the PUSH method where whenever new data is loaded in the datasource an event is triggered which inturn triggers the process chain...
how is this possible? can we do this on a timestamp on the datasource to trigger the event?

The case is slightly different. I am working on Bank analyzer data which is residing in a source system defined to load the results from the Results DataBase, a part of the Bank analyzer.
If it was R3 we have the standard calling procedures...but now the data in not in R3 but in Bank analyzer.
I am keen to look at some procedure to push the data automatically whenever an end user execution is done at the BA level into the BW.
ur help would be highly appreciated....
