Old Resubmissions display in worklist

if a resubmission date has passed (approx 4 months) but never set to complete nor deleted with program UDM_RSM_DELETE_OLD_RSMS, why would it display in worklist for resubmission rule today?? (only valuation)
no P2P due on acct, no dispute, etc.
and why didnt it display prior to today (yesterday or last week)??

Hey there jupilerman,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
I found an article named Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1573, and here is the most relevant troubleshooting from it:
Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
Restart your computer.
Cheers,
Sterling

  • Connecting new MacBook to old Cinema Display

I have an old Cinema Display that I want to use with my new MacBook. I just bought the DVI to ADC adapter. I can connect the Cinema Display to the adapter but the manual illustrates that to connect to the MacBook I need to use both the USB port and another port for which there is no equivalent port on my new laptop. Any ideas?

It sounds like you are looking for an Apple Mini DVI to DVI Adapter available from the Apple Store (including the online Apple Store). You will also need a standard DVI-D cable to go between the adapter and the DVI to ADC adapter.

  • After I restore bookmarks from a json file and they display correctly in the browser, why the next time I start Firefox4, do the old bookmarks display?

Three times I have restored from a bookmarks json file and each time the bookmark folders display showing the new bookmarks but each time after I exit and restart FF4, the original bookmarks that were replaced by bookmarks from my json file reappear. The restore process seems to work exactly as it should but new bookmarks are apparently not saved since the old ones display each time I restart FF4.
I am using WinXP on an older Dell laptop with 2Gb memory and current FF4 as of April 23, 2011.
I don't know what to do to make the new bookmarks become permanent. Help?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • Old cinema displays vs new

How big is the difference between the old cinema displays (2003) and the new ones? Are the old ones still good compared to entry level LCD's from samsung, dell etc?

I have just purchased a quicksilver g4 with an apple 20inch cinema display and i have only good comments for it. The color is very accurate, the viewing angle is good and the contrast ratio is very nice. Compared to anything that samsung and dell has to offer, apple is still long ahead.

  • Daisychain my old Cinema Display

    Hi
Is it possible to connect my old cinema display to my new Thunderbolt drive and then chain that to my MBP which only has one Thunbderbolt port?
Currently the Cinema display has a Thunderbolt adaptor and works fine through the Tunderbolt port connected directly to my MBP.
    Thanks
    David

If you display uses ADC (Apple Display Connector, rounded ends with squeeze clips, no power cord) you will need a DVI to ADC adapter

  • Go back to old image display

I just updated to Firefox 11 and the new image display is awful. When I go to an image URL (like this http://www.google.com.br/images/srpr/logo3w.png ) it's displayed with a dark background. It would be better if the background was soft grey... but it's too dark!
Is there a way to use the old image display, with white background or changing the background color?

<strike>I don't think that you can use code in userContent.css to fix this</strike>.<br />
<strike>There is no selector possible to set the background-color for the body if there is only an img (body > img:only-child) on that page.<br />
Only a script would be able to accomplish that AFAIK.</strike>
It looks that I'm wrong about this.

  • I want the old download display back! Library font is too small, do NOT want the sidebar!

Just upgraded to 20.0 on XP SP3 - not interested in 'library' display; font is too small to read, do not need/want the sidebar, and need/want the % complete to show as it did in the old download display.
Also, how do I turn off the distracting and stupid fade-in/fade-out large green arrow on download completion - again not something I'm interested or have any use for.

I haven't tried it myself, but check out the solution in this thread: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/955204 Got new version, want to go back to previous download box, the new one has no history and doesn't show speed of download, how do I go back?]
The green arrow, like other toolbar controls, can be hidden by using the Customize feature. Kick that off by doing either of these:
    * right-click a blank area of the Tab bar > Customize
    * View menu > Toolbars > Customize
Drag the unwanted arrow into the dialog with the other unused buttons, the click Done.
    Does that fix it?

  • Can I connect my old Studio Display to my MacPro Tower as a second monitor?

I'd like to hook my old Apple Studio Display (Clear body) to my MacPro tower and use it for my Pallets in PShop. Can anyone tell me the cable(s) I need to convert the studio display to the MacPro monitor port?
    Any idea on pricing?

Nevermind. I figured it out. I need the $100.00 adapter.

  • Old Cinema Display 22" won't work with DVI-ADC adapter & Mac Pro

So, I want to use my old 22" ADC Cinema Display with my new Mac Pro with the Radeon x1900 card.
And I was told to buy the DVI to ADC adapter, which I did.
But it doesn't work! The adapter powers up my monitor, and it shows up in the Display settings of system prefs, but the monitor remains DARK.
Anyone hear of this happening? I spent an hour with Apple Care phone support. They have no idea what to do.
Is the 22" (model #M8149) just not compatible with this adapter? I'd hate to have to buy a whole new monitor!

Yes, I tried re-setting the PRAM as well. Didn't work.
I've gone into the Monitor display settings and clicked "Detect Displays"...I've changed the Hz on the VGA monitor that I have plugged in simultaneously (a Gateway FPD1510). Not working.
As I mentioned, the computer does detect the monitor...it shows up in the Display Arrangement window and I can change its resolution, etc.
And the power light is on.
It's just that the screen in black.
Is this monitor just incompatible with this adapter?
Sounds like someone else is having this issue too, right?

  • I updated the photos that share with Apple TV but old photos display during music

I updated the photo file that shares with Apple TV, and they display correctly when I play the slide show, but when they play slideshow with music playing it's the old photo file. How do I get the new photos to display during music? Thanks

Not sure what you are trying to do, but the photo is just cached.  You might try restarting ATV and see if that will foruce a cache relaod.
What is it you did?  Did you update an image, cover art, photo stream?  It could also be that what ever you updated it not what is being displayed.  For instacne if you updated something in iPhoto, but are pointing to Photostream that will not have an effect.  Same problme if you are looking at cover art while the music is playing.

  • New Mac Pro Won't Work With Old Studio Display

    Hi,
Just got a new Mac Pro Desktop 8-core only to find out my old Apple Studio Display 17" won't work without a $100 adapter. We're thinking of just buying a new monitor instead. My question is will other brands now work direclty with the new Macs - or would they also need adapters? Is a DVI port the same as a DVI-D port?
    Thanks for any info...

Thanks so much for the response, Malcolm, I really appreciate it! My old monitor is an LCD, but what we decided to do is since the adapter we found (and HAD to get from Apple directly) was going to cost $99!! We went and bought a brand new Dell monitor instead for $238 - it's fully compatible with the new Mac, and it's 23" (my old one was a 17") - so all's good!
    Thanks again,
    Jacki

  • PowerMacG4 won't start without old Cinema Display attached

    PowerMacG4 867dp (Mirror Door)
    NVidia GeForce4mx w/ADC+DVI
20" Cinema Display w/ power switch, on ADC port
Acer 23" G23HL, on DVI port
I replaced my failing ADC with a new display (with much-appreciated help from this board!) Works fine as dominant display (currently not mirrored) but I need Cinema Display attached and powered up to run system. The Power Switch on tower lights, but won't shut down system, or start it without ADC attached. (It won't control system at all, only Power Switch on ADC works) Nothing in Preferences seems to apply. Should I just duct-tape new Display over old ADC and move on???       THANKS!

Thanks for your response BD Aqua. I don't have those diagnostics and frankly still wouldn't have a clue if I did. I was hoping I had overlooked some simple Preferance-type step in the change-over, but beyond maybe changing the old battery next, I'll just put one screen in front of the other- fortunately I've got room.  Thanks again for your reply!

  • Old caller display CD1500

I have an old BT CD1500 unit which has inch high numbers and letters and includes a 70 number directory of names which displays instead of the number, a brilliant bit of kit, mine has been working for many years on an ordinary line, then later with BT Broadband.
I just had BT infinity fibre broadband installed, and the last call displayed was the Openreach Engineer to say he was on the way. The engineer did not check to see it was working before he left as he should have done.
When the CD stopped indicating new calls I rang to complain, but when we realised that the caller id on my cordless phone was still working Openreach told me the CD1500 was obsolete and there was nothing they could do. The CD1500 still showed the time correctly and indicated when the line was busy as normal, just no incoming calls indicated. Very suspicious that the equipment was working perfectly until the engineers came! After some research I uncovered the following vitally useful information.
Early BT caller display equipment usually will NOT work on Cable phone lines as they use a different signalling standard, later equipment is mostly dual standard, but you do need to check before switching providers. Mind you most sales people BT or cable company have no idea of this.
The thing that brought my CD1500 back to life was when I discovered that the unit is polarity conscious. For most modern phone equipment it does not matter which way round the incoming pairs of the phone line are connected although this used not to be true, old BT pay hones and the now obsolete party lines were dependant on the line pair being connected the right way round, but not any longer. As a result most Openreach engineers are lax about ensuring that lines are connected with correct polarity, and this does not usually matter, but it does matter with early caller display equipment like the CD1500.
This was easily fixed and hey presto incoming calls are now displayed as before.
Of course only Openreach engineers are allowed to mess with the line in this way, so unless you are absolutely sure you know what to do then don't, because you won't want to pay Openreach' wickedly exorbitant call out fees to fix any problems you may encounter. They should however agree to send someone out free of charge to swap the wires as they caused the problem in the first case, but you do need to be sure this is the cause of the problem first. It is scandalous that you may be expected to agree to pay to find out if the problem is something as simple and preventable as this.
So if you have elderly BT caller display gear that suddenly stops working especially after engineering attention to your line then the polarity may be the reason.

The CD 1500 is not compatible with broadband, due to the fact that the filters in the equipment, cannot pass the correct signalling conditions. This has been known about since broadband was first implemented. I had a CD 1500, which stopped working when I got broadband, a long time ago.
If you need a stand-alone caller display, then all of the new models will cope with the DTMF data burst which is transmitted along the line, before the first burst of ringing current.
There are some useful help pages here, for BT Broadband customers only, on my personal website.

  • Old Studio Display Adapters?

Someone just gave me an old Apple Studio Display, the one with the Apple Display Connector cord that carries power and video on one cord. I want to connect it to a Mac Pro circa 2007.
All of the adapters I've found so far work with machines that have an ADC connector and connect to a DVI display. Does anyone know of an adapter that will do what I need?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe the answer is yes. As far as I can tell the resolution of the 23" Apple Display is 1920x1200 pixels and this resolution is supported via the HDMI interface on the current Mac mini.
HDMI to DVI ---> DVI to ADC ---> ADC to screen
See Apple Cinema HD Display (23") - Technical Specifications
Note: The 17" screen was called a Studio Display but the 23" screen was called a Cinema HD Display. This was because
It was a wide screen display
    It was HD resolution
If you have the 17" Studio Display then just use a Mini Displayport to DVI adaptor and then connect that to the ADC adapter.
