Old Texts arrive after each restart

Hello,
I have a blackberry torch v6.0.0.246. Each time I restart it the same 8 or so texts pop up.
They are older texts that do not show up in my inbox.
I've taken out the battery and reinserted it and even reset the device back to the factory settings, but still the texts come in. I've looked around under options and other areas but cannot find out how to keep these texts coming in.
Any help would be appreciated.

Open your Messages folder. Click the BB menu key and select View Folder. Scroll down to Text Messages and click it. Your text messages will appear. Highlight the date at the top of the screen and click the menu button again. Select Delete Prior and Yes to delete. The messages may or may not disappear. Either way, remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it a few seconds later. Those messages should be history.

How can I read my old text messages after transfer...

OK, I've got a couple of problems. First of all, I've been unable to send text messages from my 6620. As detailed in this older thread,

...somebody on Yahoo answers suggested a possible fix, but it requires deleting all the text messages in m "In," "Out," and "Drafts" folders first.
I've therefore been dragging my heels about implementing this fix, as I have numerous text messages on my phone which I'd really like to be able to keep and refer back to in the future. The problem is, the last time I checked, there was no way to read any old text messages that you'd removed from your Nokia smartphone and stored on your computer.
Is this still the case? It seems ridiculous to be that there wouldn't be a way to do something as simple as reading an old text file on your computer, but as I said, the last time I checked, nobody could point to any app or utility that would make this possible.
I do recall being able to open certain "Mail" files on the Mac, using TextEdit, but the Nokia had buried the messages inside an incomprehensible structure of layers upon layers of folders and sub-folders, and when you opened the messages, you'd often have to wade through tons and tons of duplicates, all of which had tons of bizarre, random ascii characters showing up in the bodies of the text messages.
So using TextEdit's not a great solution.
Please, can somebody tell me if there's a program that will enable me to easily find and read my backed-up text messages? Ideally this would be something that works under OS X, but I can use VMWare Fusion or Virtual PC if there's only a Windows solution available. Thank you!

Verizon Messages will only sync messages which have been sent/received SINCE you first enrolled in it. It will NOT do so for messages from BEFORE.
You could restore older messages to your phone with an app such as SMS Backup & Restore, but they won't be on Verizon's servers to access from other locations such as desktop/laptop/tablet.

Is there any way to recover old text messages after update

When i updated my new iPhone OS to the new system, i had to end up doing a restore. This wiped out all my info and while i have a backup on the computer. I can seem to find a way to recover old text messages via the iMessage platform. Is there any way to recover some of those old conversations? Some have sentimental value to them.

I just need the last month of texts and I had not backed up for several months.

External Hard Drive Unavailable After Each Restart

Hi, everyone —
I recently upgraded from a 2007 iMac to a 2012 iMac with a Fusion drive. I had two external drives on the old machine which are now connected to the new machine. Both are Seagate "Backup Desk" drives (2TB "Media" and 3TB "Time Machine") and are connected via USB.
Whenever I restart the computer (or shutdown and turn back on), the Time Machine disk connects fine, but the Media one does not. Disk Utility does not even see the missing hardware, let alone mount the volume.
To make it appear, all I need to do is disconnect and reconnect the drive.
But it's annoying! And with my iPhoto library on the ext drive, i have to reselect my background images every time I restart.
Any ideas?
I've done the following things in the last day, without any improvement:
- shut down, unplugged for 15 seconds, restarted zapping pram
- ran "Repair Disk" on all three disks and Repair Disk Permissions on boot volume. No errors.
- tried a different USB outlet on the iMac
Note that despite repeated testing finding no issues, it's possible the drive my have errant sectors. I've seen i/o errors in the Console, but ran Repair Disk several times without major errors. And since the issue started when I connected it to the new machine, I'm skeptical that this particular issue is hardware-related.
Never seen this kind of thing before – any other ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Why do my Notification Centre widgets keep rearranging themselves after each restart?

Hi,
I've been using Yosemite for a while and I'm pretty happy with it, but recently, the Notification Centre widgets keep changing their order. This is quite annoying when you think you know where to look for something, only to realise your Mac has other ideas.
Please could anyone advise why the order of my widgets keeps changing each time I restart my machine?

On-going problem for most of us using Launchpad. Purchased this app that has helped deal with this http://launchpadcleaner.com/. It provides the ability to quickly restore your layout once you had it set up.

Itunes password after each restart

I shut down my laptop every night and again when I go from home to office. Two days ago iTunes started asking for my password every single time that iTunes starts back up after the reboot. It does not ask if I simply stop iTunes and then restart the program again. Why?

Ok, just to emphasize the problem appeared after I installed the latest flashplayer.I made screenshots:

In safe mode I uninstalled everything,then I installed the latest version of flash player for IE and for other browsers,the problem still exists for FF and IE, googlechrome works!

Have to manually connect to network after each restart?

When I turned my PB on it would always automatically connect to my home wireless network (after I'd entered the password etc. of course). But now I have to manually select the network everytime I turn it on - I've played with a few settings to no avail and this problem does not occur with other networks that I've joined (at my folks for example). It's not a biggie but I'm scratching my head and it's just a little frustrating. Any ideas? Cheers

When I put the computer to sleep... it comes back on with the network I had on before. When I shut it down and restart it, I have to select the one I want... as it can see my neighbors network and on occasion one farther away. If there is only the one, and it's yours with the known password, there is one choice. My daughter brings her laptop over to use my Hi-Speed, and the first time I put in the password... now it goes to it all by itself when she is here, if the neighbors is not on, it's automatic. Otherwise, she too has to select which network she wants to join.
Fewer options are better, otherwise too many choices and you have to tell the Mac what you want today.

Connect to itunes after each restart?

Every time I restart my phone i have to connect to itunes, once this is done the phone works fine.
The sim card i am trying to use isnt the one that came with the phone, but it is with the same phone company.
The original sim doesnt have this problem.

The other sim will work fine after I connect to itunes, i can make / recieve calls etc.

Is there any way to clear out old text message after x many days?

Having the issue right now with my text messages where sometimes the phone opens the text message chat with a certain person and not show any messages. None of the message will load, and I can imagine this has to do with the amount of texts in that chat since it doesn't delete them even after say 30 days. I have texts from way back in Febuary. After searching around on the phone, it doesn't seem to be a feature that will remove texts after so many days. Either I have to clear the entire chat or deal with the messages having to load but that takes 10 minutes. I'd rather not delete the most recent messages but rather messages from however many days ago.
Any plan for BB to release a setting like this? Almost postive the phones had this feature on the older devices now but not on version 10.1 and after looking at the 10.2 release the feature isn't advertised.

Apple-ID, re-entering after each restart of the iPhone

Hi @ all,
everytime my iPhone restarts I have to enter my Apple-ID. That`s so incredible annoying. The problems exists since I had to change my device and to restore after the off-button broke.

I don´t think so as the device was running almost perfectly before I changed it. Settings are the same due to the restore of data.

Flash Player 9 Dont Work After Each Restart

Hello, I need urgent help.
I installed the latest FlashPlayer 9 on my PC. The player
works perfect. But when I shutdown and open my PC
a lot of web sites don't show their animation and ask me tu
upgrade my flashplayer ( but I have the latest player ).
I uninstall the player and install it again. But the problem
goes on. When I turn off my pc and open it again the flash player
dont work.
Please can anyone help me to solve this problem.

hey everyone try doing this and it may fix all your problems
with restarting your PC and having to reinstall your flashplayer.
don't worry about unstilling the older verison it.
so after you download it go to your start menu click on the
search bar and type in "system32" then click on that folder. after
that scroll down and look for a folder called "macromed" and click
on it there will be a folder in that called "flash" click on that.
then you will see a file that is called "FlashUtil9f" click on
that. when you open the file it will ask you for permission to
download it and of course you say yes. and after that is done
downloading it will say to restart the computer for newer verison
to be useable.( it will not restart on it's own you have to restart
the computer.) and there you have it a working flash player.
and to put it in PC terms [computer >local disk(C:)
>windows >system32 > micromed > flash >FlashUtil9f]

Images disappear after each restart...?

...but the sound remains (though, sometimes not!) I wonder why my images in the timeline are visually still there but, when I launch the project to be played, every once in a while an erro's board means that media are offline... Why is that, please and I will I correct that situation?

Thanks for the screen-caps. From the G-Spot screen, it appears that you have Imported VOB's, or at least from VOB's.
What VOB's letters stand for?
Maybe! ; my daughter did it 5 months ago (the import) and she's not sure the way she used - It was directly from the camera to the computer by the usb cable I think, and, only the images downloaded at that time were sill available... Actually, these files are stocked in a folder as .mov. Is this ok?
These are MPEG-2 files, and can cause some issues. However, it also appears that you have Imported them, so I'm going to take a guess here: when you did the Import, did you do so FROM the DVD's, or did you copy over the various VOB files to your computer, and then Import from there?

I would suspect the first. If that is the case, there is probably a bit of confusion on what Import does. It does NOT copy the source files at all. It only links to the location where the source files WERE, when you Imported them. If you did the Import FROM the DVD's, they will need to be in the drive(s), for PrPro to work with them. If you did this from several, there will be more work to do, to get things working properly. If this is your case, we'll talk more about what you'll want to do.
The files are all the same type and in the same folder...
If you did copy the VOB files FROM the DVD's onto your system, there could be other problems with why PrPro is seeing them as Offline. If this is the case, we'll talk more about how to try and fixt that too.
I will say that working with VOB's and the MPEG-2 files that they can contain is probably not the best workflow. However, you seem to be well into your Project, based on the Timeline screen-cap. If they have been working so far, we won't get into other ways of doing it. Just know that there are better workflows for the next Project.
Good luck, and let me know the process that you used to get your VOB files onto your computer and into PrPro. Each method will require some different techniques.

PS MPEG-2's Imported from VOB's CAN often cause Audio problems. Let's get the Media Offline issue solved first, and then we'll work on the Audio issues.

Clearing the cache might not help, try the following:-
1) Cross check is 'Show my windows and tabs from last time' checked (see attached file 'Open tabs from last time'). Also refer to this website wrt 'session restore'
