Old VAT number remains despite new account not needing VAT number.

I have changed the credit card details for my account for Creative Cloud and paid for a new subscription. However, I was unable to change the VAT number from the previous account details. I am not registered for VAT and want to remove the VAT number. Does anyone know how to do this?

The VAT has to be removed by Adobe Support, please contact Adobe support to get the VAT removed, it will done.
A case will raised, worked upon & closed on resolution.

  • Integrate old BT email address with new account?

    Hi,
This is my first post on the forum, so apologies if I'm in the wrong section.
I've just returned to BT as a broadband provider after an absence of several years. During this time, I have maintained my old BT Yahoo email address, and it's much more memorable than the addresses available to me these days.
Please could a member of BT staff let me know if it's possible to attach my old BT email to my new account?
    Thanks in advance,
    Stuart

  • When I send messages people are receiving them from my email account not my phone number

When I send an iMessage, people are receiving the message from my email that is attached to my apple account, not my phone number like usual. It will occasionally not allow me to send an iMessage either and will force me to send as SMS. Any ideas on how this can be fixed? In my settings it says all new conversations are started with my phone number, but it still doesn't change any ongoing conversations.

    Hi ATrunner,
Welcome to the Support Communities!   Just so that I can understand your question .... Are you saying that new messages that you send are working correctly with your phone number?  It is just the ongoing conversations that are displaying the email?   If so, I would suggest starting fresh conversations to those contacts. The article below provides troubleshooting steps for the most common issues with Messages:
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/TS2755
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
Learn how to resolve issues with the Messages app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You'll learn what you need to send messages using SMS, MMS, and iMessage as well as how to resolve issues with each method.
Before you start troubleshooting, learn the difference between SMS, MMS, and iMessage. The first step to resolving an issue with iMessage is to update your iOS software and your carrier settings to the latest versions. If iMessage still has an issue, follow the steps below for your issue.
If you can't activate iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID
See how to troubleshoot iMessage activation. If you're using a China Telecom or au (KDDI) iPhone, you can activate iMessage only on your home network. While traveling internationally, you can't activate iMessage.
If you can't send and receive iMessages
You will need these to send and receive iMessages:
An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    iOS 5.0 or later
A cellular data connection or a Wi-Fi connection
A phone number or Apple ID registered with iMessage in Settings > Messages
To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps
Check iMessage system status for current service issues.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you selected iMessage for use. If the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use, troubleshoot iMessage registration.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. If a data connection isn't available, troubleshoot cellular data or a Wi-Fi connection.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn which network your phone supports. If your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while you're on a call.
    Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
Back up and restore your device as new.
If you aren't receiving iMessages across all iOS devices
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on each iOS device and make sure that you signed in with your Apple ID. You must use the same Apple ID on each device.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You Can Be Reached By iMessage At and make sure that you selected each phone number and email address you want to use with iMessage.
If you linked a phone number to your Apple ID with iMessage and the phone number hasn't appeared, follow these steps.
Sign out of your Apple ID in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and Settings > FaceTime on all devices.
If you're linking a phone number to an Apple ID, sign in to iMessage on your iPhone first. Then sign in to the rest of your device one by one with iMessage and FaceTime.
If your iMessages didn't transmit as SMS when iMessage was unavailable for use
Go to Settings > Messages > Send as SMS and turn on Send as SMS.
Select your phone number when Sending iMessages in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Start New Conversations From.
Make sure that you can send SMS with Settings > iMessage turned off.
If you want to transfer your SIM card or phone number to a device that doesn't support iMessage
Go to Settings > Messages and turn off iMessage if you plan to transfer your SIM card or phone number from an iPhone to a device that doesn't support iMessage. If you don't, other iOS devices might continue to try to send you messages using iMessage, instead of using SMS or MMS, for up to 45 days.
If you can't send and receive SMS
You will need these to send and receive SMS:
    An iPhone
A strong cellular network connection through a cellular network provider
A domestic SMS plan from your cellular provider (You might need an international messaging plan to send SMS to an international contact. Contact your carrier for more information)
A roaming SMS plan when you use a cellular provider's network that is different from your billing cellular provider's network (Learn more about roaming and contact your carrier for more information.)
To resolve issues sending and receiving SMS, follow these steps
Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
Make sure that you have a cellular network signal in the status bar of your iPhone. If there's no signal, learn more about troubleshooting no service.
    Restart your iPhone.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
Remove your SIM card and insert it again.
If you still can't send or receive SMS, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact who's trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that you're using the area code with the contact's phone number. When sending messages internationally, you also need to use the contact's international code.
If you're using a "Pay as you go" SMS plan, make sure it has enough available balance. Contact your carrier if you're unsure of your SMS plan or the available balance.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.
Back up and restore your iPhone as new.
If your carrier has recently ported your phone number, the porting process might not be complete. Contact your carrier to confirm that the porting process is complete.
Contact your carrier to confirm that you're provisioned for sending SMS and are in an area with cellular coverage.
Contact your carrier to verify there are no blocks or filters placed on your wireless account preventing you from sending SMS.
If you can't send and receive MMS
You will need these to send and receive MMS:
    An iPhone 3G or later
    iOS 3.1 or later
A cellular data connection (MMS isn't available if you're using only Wi-Fi)
A domestic MMS plan from your cellular provider. You might need an international messaging plan to send MMS to an international contact (Contact your carrier for more information.)
A roaming MMS when using a cellular provider's network that is different from your billing cellular provider's network (Learn more about roaming and contact your carrier for more information.)
To resolve issues with sending and receiving MMS, follow these steps
Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
Go to Settings > Messages and turn MMS Messaging on.
Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Cellular Data on.
Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Data Roaming on if you're roaming on a cellular provider network that is different from your billing provider's network.
Make sure that you have a cellular data connection in the status bar of your iPhone.
Go to Settings and turn Wi-Fi off. Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify that you have a data connection. Turn Wi-Fi back on to continue using Wi-Fi for other features. If your cellular data connection isn't available, follow these steps.
Make sure that you can send and receive SMS. If you can't send and receive SMS, see the "Issues with sending and receiving SMS" section, above. MMS might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn more about which network your phone supports.
    Restart your iPhone.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
Remove your SIM card and insert it again.
If you still can't send or receive MMS, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Go to Settings > Messages and turn on group messaging if you're sending a group message.
Make sure that you're using the area code with the contact's phone number. When you send messages internationally, you also need the contact's international code.
If you're using a "Pay as you go" MMS plan, make sure it has enough available balance. If you're unsure of your MMS plan or available balance, contact your carrier.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the new contact.
Back up and restore your iPhone as new.
If your carrier has recently ported your phone number, the porting process might not be complete. Contact your carrier to confirm that the porting process is complete.
Contact your carrier to verify that you're provisioned to send SMS and are in an area with cellular coverage.
Contact your carrier to verify that there aren't blocks or filters on your wireless account preventing you from sending SMS.
Your carrier might require modified APN settings to use MMS.

How can I transfer the music in my old Ipod classic to a new Ipod (not only the Itunes purchases)?

You'll need to copy the music from the old iPod back to iTunes first before you can transfer it to your new iPod. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

  • How to transfer old icloud id stuff to new account id?

    Hi all!!
Ok I have a friend who has an iPhone 6 and his wife an iPad (old iPad using large usb cable) and they have an
iMac (no DVD drive) and they use the same iCloud id's on both devises now the part to do 2 separate iCloud id's
I can do no problem BUT the part I'm not sure how to do is to transfer Contacts, Calendar, Photos, music,
apps etc…. from the old iCloud id to the new one without loosing anything. This change will be done on the iPad side
So what to do?? I didn't tell them yet that it was gona be easy to do because I have no idea what's involved to do this
transfer so I need help to do this step by step (no geek language please). They have OSX 10.10 on iMac and iOS 8.2
    on both devices.
    THANKS ALL!!!

Technical part is as easy as it gets, you just sign out of icloud and when prompted you keep what you are allowed to keep. Stuff that you will not have a choice is really minor, but if you want to - you can backup that stuff by emailing photostream pictures or documents in the cloud. Once sign out - sign back in to new id.
Legal part is however different - while you are allowed to keep all those applications, music on ipad, it  belongs to old apple id still. Legally, so when it is time to update app you need to enter password for old account or delete an app and redownload for new account. If it is not free you have to pay again. Normally though families do not mind doing updates under the same id, as long as icloud and imessage/facetime are separate.

  • New account not picking up template from "User Template" folder.

With past OS'es I've successfully managed to create a new "Staff" account on my main staff image-maker Mac, drag and copy all of that account's folders into: System>Library>User Template>English.lproj
This is very helpful when a staff member leaves, I can simply create a new account, and the Mac would/should pick up all the settings and items found within the English.lproj folder in order to complete the creation of a new "Staff" account.
This is not working for me in Snow Leopard for some reason. I'm assuming it's a rights issue on either the User Template folder or the English.lproj folder...or both.
Problem: The original "Staff" account and all new "Staff" accounts pick up a generic set of folders for that account, even though my self-created account folders are still located in the English.lproj folder mentioned above.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, Gramps.

Can you share which permissions you ended up looking at? I'm having the same issue. I'm doing exactly what I've always done but for some reason 10.6 is giving me grief.

  • We had to change email and I can't access the old one. iCloud sends instructions to change passwords to the old account. I have tried deleting the old iCloud and create a new account, but it shows iCloud sent verification to the old email address again!

We had to change our email address and I cannot have access to the old one. I have changed accounts but iCloud sends verification instructions to the old address. I deleted the old but it won't let me access a new account without he verification and they keep sending it to my old email address.

Also-I tried to use my backup hard drive, but I wasn't able to drag/transfer/send/move any of my muic files onto my iTouch when the iTouch was connected to my computer.  I can't figure out why it won't let me do that.
The only thing I can see when I open my iTouch on my computer is my file with photos.  I can't see videos, music, or anything else.  What's going on?

  • Serial number on CD box does not match serial number on actual program

I recently bought LR3 on disk and have installed it. I also installed the upgrade to 3.6, however, I was never prompted to register the product's serial number. Furthermore, when I chcked the product's serial number on the program itself, I found the number on the program is different from the one on the CD box I have. I previously had a different LR3 installed (my friend's) and I thought I uninstalled it on my iMac (OS Lion) before installing my purchased copy of LR3. I even deleted the data files that are hidden. But the serial numbers are still different.
Is this how it should be? Any help would be great, thanks!

Sure, but you didn't deactivate, which is a separate thing. Help --> Deactivate or About Lightroom --> Deactivate is probably your friend - wherever those features may be in the Mac version...

  • Obtaining Old Versions of Apps on New Accounts?

    Hello, all
Back when m brother and I got our iPod Touches, first gen, (soon after they were released) we were too young to own iTunes accounts. Now, several years later, we are splitting off of our dad's account and creating our own accounts. We still are using our first gen iPod Touches (stupid iOS 3.1.3...), and we would like to repurchase the apps that we know and love (rather than keeping our dad's account authorized on our computers).
Anyway, here is the deal: Like I mentioned, we are still on first gen iPods, so we are limited at 3.1.3. Because of this, we cannot use a large portion of the apps out there, including current versions of some of the apps we had bought in the past.
Because of this, we are wondering if there is any way to get 3.1.3-compatible versions of the apps. We have the files with the correct versions on our computers, but the owner of the app is saved in the file when you download it...
So is there any way to either 1. Get the older versions of apps, or 2. Switch app files over to our accounts (after we have paid for them, of course. I have already gone through talking to Apple about switching ownership of an app over, and that's not going to happen, so that's not what I am asking... I am asking if once we buy the app, if there is a way to switch the owner on the local file, so that we can deauthorize our computers from our Dad's account. Basically we own the app on our iTunes account, but we are just switching the LOCAL file's owner over to our accounts).
    Thanks!
P.S. If any of that needs clarification, let me know...

Arg! That stinks... Now, I'm not meaning "reassign an app to a different account" in that I want to transfer ownership, I am meaning I am wanting to take the file we have (the correct version) and be able to use it under a different account, which purchased the app (incorrect version) from the app store (just wanting to make sure that was what you were meaning).
Anyone else is more than welcome to chime in if they know of a way!
